A story of women overcoming their own hostilities and discovering it is better to uplift other women than to bring them down - it is also helpful to have allies when running from goons intent upon murdering you. Lottie and Vivian are film actresses both cast in an epic about Helen of Troy filming in Italy. They are also bitter rivals in the movie business and in their love lives. However, the mysterious happenings on set put both women in danger and they must race from Tivoli to Monaco to Rome in order to outwit the men who are after them .

An entertaining read set amidst a glittering backdrop of Europe and Hollywood stars. However, it took quite a while for me to actually like either of the main characters, which put a damper on the whole thing.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an audio ARC of this title!

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for providing a free eaudio-arc of this book.

This book starts out kind of slow with buildup of the two main Starlets and their rivalry between each other and the tension on set of their new film they are making together. Then, once the action starts, it really starts rolling to the point where it's a little ridiculous, but it was still a good time read.

One of the Starlets finds a dead body and thus starts their escapade of traveling Europe on a mission to escape some criminals with some damning evidence in tow all while learning how to work together to survive. If you like old Hollywood drama, betrayal, and crazy thrilling escapades, you will like this book. I thought it was a good quick read that seems more like a good read on the beach during the summer.
