Thank you so much to Capstone and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

This was adorable really educational book and really fun to read, however i personally felt like it was a bit mismatched. You had the sweet poetry throughout but then were taken out of the poetry flow by having all the fact file sections on each page in between it. I did really love both aspects of the story though, I just would have preferred them separated.

I loved reading the beautiful poem about going up to space, what it’s like, what you see you, how the atmosphere changes, and then coming back down again. It was really lovely to read and seeing all the illustrations alongside it, it was really beautiful.

I also really enjoyed the fact file parts within the book, and found it very educational and enjoyed learning all the new information. There were so many things to learn and read about with so many different aspects of space and atmosphere, and to the crafts that have been sent up there it was so great learning so much.

A very fun and educational read with beautiful poetry and illustrations. This is a really wonderful book all about space, about going up in a rocket ship and exploring the atmosphere, you do learn so much from it all. I just personally didn’t like that I was being pulled out the flow of the poem to read all the facts and then back to poem, back to facts. It was a bit much for me personally and though enjoy them both separately, together was too much.

This illustrated book was fascinating, poetic and very informative. The data and explanations were phrased in a straightforward way, making it palatable to a young audience (8 to 10 yrs). A very pleasant and dreamy reading experience to have a head full of stars!

I thought that this book was fantastic!

The book had some lovely wording to tell the story and the facts added to the different pages were great. I loved that you get to learn as you read more of the book and as the story progresses to.

The illustrations are great and help bring the book to life. I liked the addition to the pages which shows where you would be in the atmosphere too. All great and subtle ways of learning too.

My daughter has recently visited the National Space Centre in Leicester with her school class so it links in nicely with the curriculum too - a fun and informative way to learn.

It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!

Books about space are a huge hit in our home and "Up, Up High" will make a great addition to our home library. The simple, but lyrical text, describes what it would be like to travel through our atmosphere. My six year old and I both learned about several new space phenomenon and found the new information to be written in a way that was interesting and easy to understand. I highly recommend to all young space lovers!
