A World Full of Christmas Crafts  Helen Mortimer       Five Stars

Note: As this is a craft/cook book, the review design will be different
than my other reviews.

Geared to middle-graders, this craft/cook book has easy step-by-step instructions that anyone can follow. Each craft or recipe is taken from a different part of the world, and they have some information on the Christmas’ custums and on the craft. And the pictures in the book are very pretty.

There are some crafts where it talks about ‘ushering in the new year with luck’, and a few other things that are a bit odd, but still cool to learn about.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the temporary loan of this book!

An amazing book combining cultural fun facts and DIY ideas to get into the Christmas spirit. It was great to get to know more about customs from countries all over the world, not just the Western part of our globe. Lots of mouthwatering recipes to choose from and tons of crafts to get inspired by. Highly recommended!

Accompanied by wonderful illustrations A World Full of Christmas Crafts is a lovely guide, featuring twenty four crafts for the season.

The majority of the crafts can be done with young preschoolers and up.

The crafts themselves are fairly basic, but some parents and caregivers may enjoy having them all listed together in one guide.

Thank you to Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and NetGalley for the temporary PDF

Lots (24) of fun and creative crafts to do with kids, this is easy to follow and I liked the layout. I liked the way there was a country assigned to each craft

We've been crafting for Christmas with my kids for 12 years, the least I can say is that I'm out of ideas. This book however is filled with 24 new ideas to me at least and we even get to learn about other countries Christmas traditions. The step by step is clear and easy to follow and the drawings are just too cute.

This Christmas craft book does include crafts from many different countries and cultures and I thought that was great. The crafts are simple and do now require you to buy a lot of material for them. I will say that a lot of the crafts are ones that I have seen all over the internet, I was hoping for some crafts that were more original.

This book has a nice mix of crafts and baking projects but they're not very indepth with sharing the tradition and country and some dont make sense, as a Canadian I didn't understand the Canada section at all.

Nice illustrations with basic directions, I like the idea of this book but think it could have been executed better.

Thank you Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group for my ARC copy.

I really loved this, it has such a huge selection of crafts to do with kids. Because there is 24 you could easily make it into an advent event. I can't wait to try some of these out with my nieces and nephews.

This was a cute collection of holiday crafts from around the world. I enjoyed the short background on each of the traditions and the mix of religious and non-religious topics. The illustrations were cute and consistent throughout the book, though for some of the projects true photos may have made the project easier to understand.

I would recommend this book for my libraries and anyone who has small children who enjoy crafting or making things.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley.
