All the Missing Pieces is a story about finding the missing piece for yourself, for others, and for a community. Ridley Sawyer is a true crime podcast host, but more than that she is a victim of a crime committed years ago towards her twin sister. It's a loss she feels every day deep within her soul. Colter Brooks is the Sheriff in Shady Cove, and he knows all too well about emotional guilt. His sister, Emerson, was also involved in an attempted kidnapping years ago.
Ridley comes to town to investigate the crime against Emerson and the crimes against so many others, including her twin sister for her podcast.
When Ridley and Colt first meet, they are like oil and water but soon come to realize they have more in common and a pull towards each other. She is his Chaos, and he is her Law Man. They learn to trust, to heal and to open themselves up to love and forgiveness.
As they spend time together and start to put the pieces together, they develop a deep caring towards one another. Ridley has changed Colt, as well as the town that she has come to start to feel as her home.
Tropes: True Crime heroine, grumpy sheriff, enemies to lover banter, twists throughout, small town romantic suspense
This book was amazing. I couldn't put it down. It had intrigue, mystery, romance and great storytelling. I definitely recommend it!

This was my first Catherine Cowles and I really enjoyed it! I loved the true crime aspect and how the MC Ridley has her own podcast where she travels around and works old cases in hopes of finally cracking them open. She has her own traumatic past with her twin sister having been abducted when they were teens, and you could really tell how much she cared about getting justice for other victims.
I adore a small town setting and all of the kooky characters that come along with it, and this was no exception. The suspense was great and I was constantly holding my breath waiting for the next break in the case or the next move by the killer. The romance was tied in really nicely and I enjoyed the grumpy x sunshine / dislike to love thing Ridley and Colt had going on.
I do feel like something kept me from becoming fully invested in the romance and some of the dialogue during the spicy scenes felt a little off to me. I was surprised by the big killer reveal but I kind of wanted it to be someone even more shocking. All in all I would definitely read more from Catherine in the future!
Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for the honest review.

Hands down my favorite by Catherine Cowles!!!
I was absolutely hooked from the very beginning. I loved loved loved Ridley. There is just something about her that makes you fall in love with her. And Colt 😍 but the two of them together - gosh they really do fit together like puzzle pieces. From their banter, the team work and of course the spice😉
I loved the story line - Cathrine writes romantic suspense so well but this one felt on another level. I loved seeing the investigative side of it more in this one. You really feel like you’re there with Ridley trying to put all the pieces together.
Love love love!!! Cannot wait to see where this story line goes! I hope we get to go back to Shady Cove in the future!!

My goodness, Catherine Cowles knows how to weave an absolutely INCREDIBLE mystery filled with so much care and love. I was hooked from word one, wondering what would happen. The love Colt and Ridley had for their sisters made them incredibly strong individuals who would stop at nothing to find the justice they deserved, and I loved it so, so much. I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future!!!

UM HELLO?! Catherine Cowles came into the ring absolutely SWINGING with this masterpiece! I've never been much of a true crime girlie, but All the Missing Pieces had me rethinking that with the investigation I was having in my own mind.
Catherine's ability to write a compelling mystery while simultaneously giving us the romance and world building that we so desperately need is amazing to say the least. I couldn't get enough of this story, and I have a feeling you'll feel the same way when you read this!
I did a fully immersive read and I was a huge fan of this audiobook. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did an outstanding job of bringing Ridley and Colt to life. This is one I can foresee myself re-reading in the future.

This is a perfect book to pick up if you want to start reading Catherine Cowles but are daunted by longer series.
Ridley arrives in Shady Cove to work on the next season of her true-crime podcast, determined to uncover new leads in a missing persons case tied to her sister’s disappearance. Her arrival catches the attention of Colt, the town’s sheriff, who is wary of her digging up old wounds. However, as Ridley begins uncovering clues that no one else has noticed, Colt finds himself drawn into her investigation and into her life.
I adored the romance, was mind blown by the suspense and could not put the book down, even during all the holiday chaos. If you enjoy audiobooks, I highly recommend listening to this one. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the characters and emotions to life, making the experience even more immersive.

All The Missing Pieces
Catherine Cowles always has me falling for her fictional men and expert storytelling abilities, but All The Missing Pieces stands out in an exceptional way. I have been a fan of this author’s work for a long time, but this story was so inherently unique and spoke to my true crime loving heart. Ridley and Colt had a grief stricken beginning that blossomed into a steamy and unforgettable romance. Ridley is a true crime podcaster on a mission in Shady Cove to reveal the unsub she believes is responsible for a slew of murders and kidnappings, including her own sister’s disappearance. Her goal is to bring healing to others, but she ends up finding her own healing along the way. Colt is a grumpy sheriff whose stormy aura is the perfect juxtaposition to the ray of sunshine that is Ridley. Cowles’ ability to make me question each suspect in this story only to throw me for a complete whiplash at the end goes to show how masterful this author weaves a story. This book floored me, and I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since finishing it. I will be HIGHLY recommending this book to any true crime and romance loving reader!

I was HOOKED on every single word. Catherine really showed out for this one. I’m obsessed!! You know if Catherine Cowles writes it, from the first page I’m looking for the culprit. IYKYK.
Ridley has made it her life’s mission to bring justice to the open disappearance cases around the country. And she gonna do that with the help of her podcast followers. They don’t know it, but her twin sister is one of those disappearance cases that deserves to see justice. Ridley has found herself in a small town trying to get to the bottom of a case that could be the break through she needs. Ridley is trying to get some quotes for her podcast, when she realizes she has hit a nerve in the small town, in the form of the town Sheriff. As Colt starts to breathe down her back, the towns people giving her the cold shoulder, and some mysterious sounds going bump in the night, Ridley knows she getting close to a break through. She just hopes people will let her down what she’s good at to get the justice all those people who have disappeared deserved.
There is one person in the world Colt will protect till the day he takes his last breath, his sister. He takes his big brother job as seriously as his real Sheriff job and when some podcaster comes into his town and starts asking questions about the past, he knows he needs to step in to stop the heartbreak. Too bad his instincts are to protect and defend the new town addition. When breakthroughs start to happen, grumpy Colt finds himself opening up his home in order to “key an eye” on the newbie, so how did he find himself in an enemies with benefits situation, he truly doesn’t know himself. Colt starts to think Ridley loves walking into trouble, and trouble is not something Colt wants in his small town. So, how can he get rid of the trouble and keep Ridley to stay all at the same time? He has his work cut out for him for sure.
I truly hope this doesn’t stay a stand-alone because I NEED more to the story with the couple that I know will be my favorite. Catherine I beg of you to give me more!! What a read!!

3.5⭐️ rounded up.
If you’re new to the world of Catherine Cowles and her special brand of romantic suspense, I think you are going to absolutely love this book. While I completely enjoyed All the Missing Pieces, for me it was a touch watered down from Catherine’s usual books.
Ridley and Colt were both interesting and great characters and I liked them both but they didn’t feel fully fleshed out to me as a couple. They went from strangers/enemies to lovers in a flash with no lead up of sexual tension or flirting. I think it had all the elements of a classic Catherine Cowles book but without as much personality. The plot was SO intriguing though, and I really liked the podcast aspect. It made the plot fresh and unique. The entire vibe of the town was fun and cozy and as usual, all of the extra characters were personable. The signature twist was a surprise as it usually is with a classic Cowles book. I’ll definitely keep reading the series as it progresses.
Thank you to NetGalley and Catherine Cowles for an eARC of this book for review.

This is a fast paced romantic suspense that I found really fun to read. It’s definitely heavier on the romance, and leans in the cheesy/predictable…but I still read through it super quick wanting to see what happens next. Ridley was an interesting character, though Colt leaned more typical stereotype. The plot was interesting and kept the pages turning. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

5 ⭐ 3.5 🌶️
I think this may be my favorite Catherine story yet. The banter, the tension, the mystery the spice, all. of. it. It was freaking fantastic.
Colt and Ridley were amazing together. Their enemies to frenemies with benefits to friends to lovers vibe was a whole dang thing and I couldn't get enough. Their back and forths had me cracking up non stop I swear and their spice was possibly the spiciest from Catherine I've read. It was a bit of a slow burn, but once it hit, it was fire.
I'm really hoping Em and Trey are next. Please. I beg you, Catherine.
I highly recommend closing down this review and going in blind, but just in case you wanna hear my thoughts....
This mystery reveal literally had my jaw on the floor. I was so confident in the culprit and yet I had it vv wrong. I loved the podcast angle and how Ridley investigated, especially when she put her heart on her sleeve. It was really wonderful watching these characters throughout this story and the suspense was so good.

I am SO excited to have had the opportunity to read and review this ARC! have only read one other Catherine Cowles book before and I am reminded just how much I liked it! All the Missing Pieces pulled me in right away and I finished it in a day. Ridley is a true crime Podcaster who is on the case of an abduction that hits too close to home for her. When she arrives in the small town where the crime took place she meets the grumpy sheriff and quickly dislikes him. Of course that leads to tension and angst and longing that hits you right in all the feels. There is suspense, action and romance in this story that will keep you invested until the very end. I loved this book and will be bumping Catherine's other book back up to the top of my TBR!

Catherine just does it again. I got close to figuring out the suspect, but she threw out another twist I wasn't expecting! It's always so fun to read her books because I know I'm going to still be left surprised and it's nice not guessing what's going to happen. Ridley and Colt were so good together. I'm always happy and impressed when enemies (or them not liking each other) become lovers. I did the first half on my kindle and then the last half on audio and both were just amazing!

✨ All the Missing Pieces ✨
Ms. Cowles!!!! You just wrote the most PERFECT romantic suspense book that I have ever read. I loved every SECOND of 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨 and already want to read it again. This is officially my new favorite book by Catherine Cowles and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen!
Ridley was such a fantastically different heroine than I have read in a long time. She's independent, outspoken, and confident. She doesn't take crap from anyone and I just adored her spirit. She has been through so much. Her story broke my heart completely and I found myself so invested in her story and her finding the truth. Colt was ohhhh so grumpy on the outside but soft for the people he loves on the inside. I loved how protective he was. I'm not going to lie- he made me so mad early on, but I think a flawed character is so much more fun to root for. When Colt and Ridley finally stopped fighting their attraction, the fireworks were out of this world. Their connection was a slow and steady growth and felt so real. I loved their love so much.
And we can't talk Catherine Cowles without talking about the ending. I could not put this down and played the "who done it" game throughout the entire book. The ending had me so shook.
I love, love, loved this book. Stop what you're doing NOW and read it!

Just when I think Catherine’s books can’t get any better she goes and out does herself again! This book had me hooked from the prologue. It is full of mystery and suspense that had me guessing the whole way through…and of course all of my guesses were wrong! I loved both Colt and Ridley. Their characters were likable and relatable. The plot is one of the best I’ve read in a long time. It kept me engaged and needed to know all the answers. I loved that Ridley was a true crime podcaster and Colt was the small town sheriff. It added the perfect amount of tension between them. It is a bit of a slow burn but when things heat up they are pure fire! And of course this author always brings the emotions and makes me cry and I definitely did with this one. This is seriously one of the best books I’ve read and will live rent free in my brain for a long time to come!

I have loved every single Catherine Cowles book I’ve read but this one is my absolute favorite, and probably in my top 5 favorites this year! The suspense, the investigation, the romance, the found family, the animals, the small town camaraderie.. every single aspect created a truly incredible book!
Ridley’s twin sister, Avery, was abducted the night before their college graduation and it’s turned her world upside down. Instead of retreating into herself and fearing life, she’s found the light in everything and living every moment for her sister. She’s dedicated her life to her true crime podcast where she travels from town to town helping communities with unsolved murders/abductions similar to her sister’s.
Her newest case brings her to Shady Cove to investigate an abduction where the victim, Emerson, actually escaped. The scope is much bigger though because she believes this attempted abduction was actually the first for the same attacker who took her sister.
Shady Cove introduces us to an entire town of characters each with their unique story to tell. Colt is Emerson’s brother and the town sheriff, so he has some problems with Ridley digging into her past. But he reluctantly realizes that they can help each other figure out this case.
Trey, Celia, Norm, Sam, Ace, and Ezra were all characters I fell in love with right alongside Ridley and Colt! The community really came together to band around Ridley when she hadn’t had that kind of support from her own family, it was really beautiful. Can’t forget about Bowser, and Tater’s “tooth hugs” (I will forever call cat bites this from now on). Catherine’s fictional animals are always my favorite 🤣
Once again, Catherine stumped me on who the bad guy was. I had two suspects, written down with all my reasoning.. and I was still left like 🤯🤯 in the end!
10000% recommend this book and I cannot wait for all future books in this series!

I really enjoyed this book! The characters were great and relatable and I liked the plot overall! I would definitely recommend!

Amidst its thrills, intrigue, angst, and yearning, there is something so wonderfully comforting about entering the world of Catherine Cowles book. I always feel at home, each and every time. And it's due to the heart always residing at its center. Found in how each protagonist always sets a course forward, found in the platonic and familial bonds forged and strengthened, and found in the love stories that heal and grow. All the Missing Pieces keeps that feeling of right at home. Even when my heart was in my throat with the twists and turns, it was still home. Home especially in its magnetic leads, Ridley and Colt.
Ridley and Colt start off on the wrong foot, and it takes a while to right itself, and I, for one, loved that. There is an electric current that instantly runs through them when they meet, but Colt’s suspicion against Ridley from the onset has him regarding her with little respect. Even when he regrets certain actions and words. Nevertheless, Ridley is no wilting flower and takes everything to the chin. She doesn’t back down and advocates for herself readily, leading Colt to some early groveling. And I relished it. It was so, so, so good! I loved how it’s not instant smooth sailing between the two, but once the waves steady, their romancing is a beaut to watch evolve. It feels so massively earned once they get there.
But that doesn’t mean more obstacles aren’t in their way besides themselves! There’s a killer on the loose, and Ridley’s desire to uncover truths has the potential to lead her in harm’s way— or not, if Colt has anything to say about that! These two have each other's backs and I love their mutual protectiveness and loyalty in one another. Once they're on the same page, they become quite the dynamic duo in navigating the many threads of the mystery laid in front of them.
One day I'm going to guess a Cowles twist, but today is not that day, haha! I have so much fun trying to untangle the intricate mystery that weaves through every Cowles narrative. Just when I think I have the right suspect in my sights, the real culprit is revealed to my gasp surely heard around the world! While I did not figure it out this go around, I honestly thrive on that sort of thrill in reveal. Especially when, once it's laid out, never once does it feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me. Rather, it feels like a clever mystery has been left for us to discover, whether in its moment or after. I think the big reason why I love a Cowles book is because it’s not just a strong romance at its heart, but also a strong plot to enhance it all. It raises the stakes and makes the romance’s happily ever after feel very properly earned.
Catherine Cowles writing remains utterly engaging and all-consuming. It's always, always a good time when you open up a Cowles book, and All the Missing Pieces will surely head the top of many favorites lists!
Thank you to Catherine Cowles, NetGalley, and Sourcebooks for this advanced complimentary copy, I leave this honest review voluntarily.

-Mystery and romance all rolled in to one
This story finds a true crime podcaster whose own sister was kidnapped searching for answers to help others in similar situations.
This was my first book by Catherine Cowles and I loved the combo of genres, unfortunately neither fully satisfied me. The romance was a bit cringey at times, and I had the big mystery figured out for who- just not the why. This would not deter me from reading more by her though as it was still an enjoyable read that I was fully interested in.

I am newish to @catherinecowlesauthor but I have loved everything that I have read from her. This book was amazing.
While I was given this arc to read on @netgalley, my thoughts/comments are my own. Thank you to @netgalley @catherinecowlesauthor and @sourcebookscasa for allowing me this opportunity!
This story centers around Ridley our FMC who became a True Crime Podcaster after her twin sister went missing. She challenged the loss of her sister in a way that gives a voice to others who have also lost a loved one.
It is through her podcast that our small town romance begins. She uses a cold case as a focus for her channel and meets resistance in the form of the sheriff; aka our MMC, because it is very personal to him.
Colt (MMC) is very strait laced and Ridley is the poster child for free spirit but the two of them together just work. And when you throw in our feline friend; the dynamic gives all that it should!
The suspense is fantastic! I felt like I was back in my Nancy Drew era trying to solve the crime before it’s solved in the book. I did; but just barely before they did. It counts, right?
I don’t want to give anything away so I will leave it there but this book is worth the read! It comes out January 7th! I highly recommend this book and all of the books by @catherinecowlesauthor
