All The Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is bone chilling suspenseful romance at its finest!

I love Catherine Cowles and her books but All The Missing Pieces takes her thrilling stories to another level. I love that this book takes the mystery as first storyline and we see mystery solving, plot twists, and it is shocking and surprising. Her mind takes us to places we would never imagine or guess the culprit. Catherine always manages to throw me for a loop but I also really liked that this story touches on victims and how they live past that. What it's like to live day to day after surviving something horrible. It shows us what its like to live with guilt, grief and how sometimes being afraid holds us back but also giving a voice to them and listening to their stories and doing them justice and what its like to feel helpless. With all that there's a romance blooming between. A podcaster and a sheriff, a dynamic duo you would think but they couldn't be more opposite and start off as enemies and slowly become unlikely accomplices to help others and what later forms into a friendship that blooms into love through all that which shows there's always light at the end of a tunnel. A compelling story that takes you on thrilling and chilling stories but will always. make you smile at the end of it. A Must read!

This is a great book for fans of true crime, romantic suspense, and small town romance.
I enjoyed the small town setting and all the side characters. they added a lot to the plot and to Ridley’s investigation. I also liked how Colt was so protective of Ridley even when he didn’t like her. He’s your typical grumpy, small town sheriff and I really enjoyed that. I also liked how the investigation played out and the resolution we got to that storyline. I was able to guess the ending but that might be because I’ve read so many Catherine Cowles books and kind of get the formula, rather than it being obvious or predictable.
I am personally not a big fan of true crime, especially true crime podcasts, so that kind of automatically made me not love Ridley or the premise of this book as a whole. They do address some of the issues with the genre and Ridley takes care with how she handles things but still, not really my vibe. If you are a true crime fan, however, that might make you enjoy this book even more!
As always, if Catherine Cowles writes it, I will read it and I definitely enjoyed this book!

I love romantic suspense books. I love Catherine Cowels books. This book, I loved.

Ridley lost her sister a number of years ago and has taken on being a podcast host trying to help people similar to her. At her next job she hopes to find answers she has long seemed. She doesn’t expect to find love too.

I loved this book. I loved the mystery. I loved the romance. The steam was excellent. The story was touching and written in a thoughtful way.

Thank you SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca and NetGalley for the ARC.

It’s no secret how much I love Catherine and her books. But this one was on a different level. I can’t wait for everyone to feel all the emotions with this one. Yes, I did in fact cry.
No one does romantic suspense like Cat.
Ridley and Colter will forever hold a special place in my heart including everyone else in Shady Cove and the animals are included in that statement 🙂‍↕️.
More to come because this one comes out next year 01/07/2025 and it will be my entire personality so prepare to be sick of me 😌.

This is another excellent read from Catherine Cowles! I have read all of her books and her readers will not be disappointed! I could not stop reading from the moment I started! This book contains all the elements we love from Catherine’s books: suspense, heartbreak, spice, hope, plus more. The chemistry between Ridley and Colt was very well written and Ridley’s background is so heartbreaking I was crying at times. I know this is supposed to be a standalone but I would definitely read more. I always try and “guess” who I think the suspect is and even I was surprised by how Cowles was able to pull all the different pieces together in a such a great way! I can’t wait for her next release!

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing this book, with my honest review below.

All the Missing Pieces was a phenomenal mystery. Catherine Cowles did such a great job in writing this (and I’m sure her editors also get credit here) that she made it look effortless to write a mystery that intrigues but isn’t convoluted to follow while adding the perfect dashes of romance and character, creating a story that is hard to put down but stays on your mind after you’re done reading.

Ridley Sawyer is our main character to start, having suffered the tragic disappearance of her twin she has made her life’s mission helping give voice to other victims while bringing empathy, compassion, and the space their families need in her podcast. Doing her job on the road with her VW bus, Ridley comes into Shady Cove following the mystery of one victim who managed to escape after being kidnapped. This one is personal as Ridley has tracked Emerson’s kidnapper to other women who disappeared over the years.

Colt meanwhile is Emerson’s brother and the sheriff of Shady Cove. Initially intent on running Ridley out of town, he becomes her sweet sidekick as her investigation starts to hit the nerves of the kidnapper, kicking up some actual threats to her, and possibly Emerson. It’s hard to describe all the elements of this book as it tackled very real trauma, loneliness, the effects on tragedy across families and friends, love and spice, along with a strong mystery. Goodreads tells me this #1 in a possible series, and with this strong start I’m sure excited to see that happen and to read any other books the author introduces.

I enjoyed this mystery with just the right dash of romance. I liked the pod-cast premise of the book and would look forward to more in the series.

This was my first book by Catherine Cowles, and I’m officially hooked! I absolutely loved All the Missing Pieces.
This one follows Ridley Sawyer who’s, fueled by the disappearance of her twin sister, traveling the country covering cold cases for her true crime podcast. With her latest cold case Ridley not only battles the tight-nit community of a small town but also the sheriff, Colt, who wants her out of his town.

This one was truly so fun! With the perfect blend of romance and suspense. I absolutely loved so many characters in this book. Ridley’s outlook on life, her empathy, and her fierceness made her such a strong and inspiring character. And Colt was the perfect protective, grumpy golden retriever.
I think I’m just a sucker for small town and found family!
I can’t wait to dive into more of Catherine Cowles’ books!

Thank you Sourcebooks and Catherine Cowles for an advance readers copy in exchange for my honest review.

Another absolutely amazing book by Catherine Cowles!
FMC Ridley is IT. Fierce, driven, and confident with a heart of gold. Completely different than Catherine’s other FMC’s and absolutely addictive in the sense that you want to constantly know more about her and don’t want the story to end!
Colt was the perfect mix of grumpy and protective, things I love in my MMC. His complexity made him an absolute delight to read, and the chemistry between Colt and Ridley was off the charts.
The true crime element was nothing short of brilliant and added to a book already filled with so many twists and turns that I never saw the culprit coming. I hope this isn’t the last we hear from Shady Cove!

I think it's time to give Catherine Cowles her flowers and call her the Queen of romantic suspense. She has become an auto-read author for me and just like Ali Hazelwood, she has a formula and it works every single time. I will always read a Catherine Cowles book because I know what to expect and I'm always thoroughly entertained and never disappointed. I come for the broody mcs, small town vibes, and of course the mystery/suspense plots. It’s no wonder she’s my most read author this year, her books are so addicting.

ALL THE MISSING PIECES was an absolute joy to read (I literally finished it in one sitting) and if you've read her other series like TATTERED & TORN, LOST & FOUND, and SPARROW FALLS you're going to love this book.

Catherine has quickly become my go-to author for romantic suspense books and continues to blow me away with each new release! She has such a way with everything, from developing unforgettable characters you will be rooting for to plotlines with perfect twists and iconic small towns full of charm. All the Missing Pieces is an excellent book for readers new to romantic suspense!

I was hooked just from the description of this book, following a podcaster investigating disappearances potentially linked to her sister from years ago. Ridley is determined to find the truth and not let Colt, the wary sheriff, stop her.

Ridley and Colt have instant chemistry from their first encounter, and they could not be more perfect together. Ridley is full of life, pushing Colt’s boundaries but still accepting his protective nature when needed. Their teamwork and dedication to protecting the people they care about make them both so loveable from a reader’s perspective.

The suspense in this story kept me on my toes as I tried to guess who the culprit was. I really enjoyed the twists throughout the book, which had just the right amount of hints mixed with surprises.

I also have to point out how much I loved the side characters! Emerson’s progression throughout the book was amazing, as was her connection with Ridley. The whole community rallied around them both to support their journeys and heal from their pasts. I really hope we get to see more of this town and the characters introduced in this book!

Thank you, Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca, for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Catherine can do absolutely no wrong in my eyes. She consistently knocks it out of the park! I love her writing style and how you never know who the villain of the story is going to be until the big reveal. I was so happy to be one of the lucky few who got the download of this here. I can't wait for the release date so everyone else can experience it.

5⭐️

Catherine does it again. And honestly it shouldn’t surprise me! She is by far one of my favorite romantic suspense authors and this book just continued to prove it to me. I’m a true crime girly so I knew going in I would love this.

Catherine has a way of writing characters and stories that just entrap me from the very first page. The backstories, their current lives, and the people surrounding them. She makes you love them all.

Ridley & Colt were just pure magic together. I loved Ridley so much. For everything that she’s been through and the person it made her. She chose joy. She was feisty, tenacious, and had so much empathy for those around her. She was quite truly a ray of sunshine. Colt was honestly quite the opposite at first (towards Ridley at least). He was grumpy, and put his foot in his mouth quite a few times. But as all of Catherine’s men do. He quite literally folded when he got to know Ridley. And their relationship was everything. Their banter and tension was so good! And the chemistry was perfection. 😍

And of course Catherine writes the most amazing side characters that you can’t help but want more of as well!

And once again, when I had everything figured out. I realized pretty quickly how wrong I was. Haha

I fell in love with Ridley and Colt (and their pets, honestly). Ridley is strong and brave and so compassionate. And Colt is pure cinnamon roll hero goodness! The grumpy sheriff with a gooey center who will make you feel all the feels.

ALL THE MISSING PIECES was a great romantic suspense with a villain I never suspected. This book has heart and sweetness and spice!

There’s just something so comforting about a Catherine Cowles novel. I know that no matter what, her books will be filled with the perfect blend of romance, suspense, and mystery. All the Missing Pieces is no exception.

Ridley Bennett lands in the small town of Shady Cove in search of her next story. A popular true crime podcaster, Ridley hopes to solve a case that’s plagued her for years: that of her missing twin sister Avery. Her search led her to the Emerson Sinclair, resident of Shady Cove, and the person Ridley believes is the first of many assaults and attempted assaults from a serial killer connected to her sister’s disappearance. Emerson was just the lucky one who got away. In town, she bumps into Colter Brooks, the town sheriff, and immediately butts heads with him. But as the cold case takes a turn, the two work jointly to solve the case and begin to slowly lean into the emotions pulling them together.

I really enjoyed this book! It was so compulsively readable - the mystery had me hooked from the start. I genuinely did not know who it could have been and was so surprised by the twist.

I loved the small town of Shady Cove and all the characters that make up its population! I also really loved Emerson and Ridley’s characters. The strength and resilience they both displayed throughout the book was so inspiring. And Trey! I want a book on him and his one true love (if you know you know).

Overall, if you enjoy romantic suspense novels or Catherine Cowles’ work, pick this one up when it comes out in January! It is Catherine’s best work yet!

So many thanks to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC!

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for and advance copy.

She’s a podcaster who dives into cold cases and has decent luck. She rolls into town to try to figure out an old kidnapping and it turns out it’s related really closely to the disappearance of her own twin sister. He’s the Sherriff and older brother to the victim of that cold case kidnapping.

The friction was delicious. He’s spending his time trying to figure out her angle and she’s stirring up the hornets nests to find new information to get to the bottom of it. Then someone takes it really personally that she’s looking and comes after her.

I’ve read a ton of Catherine Cowles at this point but this was an excellent choice for her first traditionally published book. She gets into the details of the case without making it feel like a gory true crime story but you can still feel the anxiety of not knowing who is responsible. I read the whole thing in one sitting.

This author crafted a story that had me devouring every word in one sitting. I went into this story with no expectations and found that the author delivered an all-consuming book that had me in a vise grip. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding, anticipating what the next page would bring. This is one not to be missed. If you are in to romantic suspense…even if you are not… grab this book. You will be blown away, caught in a web of masterfully weaved words by an author who has honed her writing to be exceptional.

Hot dang. Catherine's first traditionally published book and she did. Not. Miss. Without giving too much away it's a true Catherine Cowles book to the core except where the ones I've read before were romance with the suspense/mystery as the b plot, its opposite here. The suspense, let's figure out who did this, and everything about thag is the main story and the romance is the b plot. There was one thing I got right at the beginning and then literally every other twist I didn't get and I'm normally a good guesser. I'm so stinking proud of Catherine. Who has been lovely to chat with. Who is just a beautiful soul. And this book was incredible. So dang proud.

Ridley, a rudderless twin, loses her sister the night before graduation, but only in a sense of she goes missing and there's nothing for them to go on. So for the following five years- she finds purpose in podcasting and helping victims and victims find closure. Very crime junkie esqe. I love it. Colt is the town sheriff and has a gigantic stick up his ass. But together, they try to help the victims. They try to protect Emerson, the first in a string of victims. And now they are getting close to finding out everything. And that can't happen.

Let me tell you. I FLEW through this. Jeeeeeeeezzz so good. Read it
