“If I ran out the door right now, would you run with me?”
“Set the pace, Chlo. I can keep up.”

Omg that was freaking charming and hysterical! Obvi Tess Bailey is pretty much a household name in the romance bookish space, and though Dream Girl Drama was my first ever Tessa read, I can very much see what all the hype is all about! Sweet, s3xy, a little silly, and so so satisfying, she will leave you giggling, blushing, and immediately reaching for more of her work.
Chloe and Sig come from opposite worlds, and though a sort of twisted fate brings them together, it’s not in the way that either would prefer. Despite the obstacles thrown their ways, watching them grow and tackle them as a team had me giddily kicking my feet. The imagery was spot on. The pace was consistent and enjoyable. The tension about melted off my bottoms. But the big winner here was the humor. There were many laugh out loud moments that had my husband side eyeing from across the living room 🤭 Add a smidge of @ngst here and there, and voila! Dream Girl Drama, baby! Such a fun time!

I've enjoyed previous books by Tessa Bailey for their lighthearted content, and I think they make great beach reads. This one unfortunately pushed me too far in terms of requiring a serious suspension of disbelief, which made it hard to connect to the characters. I did not enjoy how helpless the FMC was, though I did appreciate her arc of pursuing a career as a harpist. I won't be requesting more Tessa Bailey as I think her newer books just aren't for me, but thank you very much to Avon for the arc!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tessa Bailey is big time hit or miss! And Dream Girl Drama was absolutely a miss. I mean the sheer obnoxious romance and dialogue was just mind boggling. I get insta-lust but I do not get insta-love and the amount of obsession these two MCs had for each other after meeting once. The whole premise of their push and pull is that they are future step siblings, but I never understood the big hold up. They met as adults and had absolutely no clue about each other before, I just feel like the romance and story had no backbone. For a couple so obsessed and in love you would think they would've just thought to explain the situation to people and ask for understanding instead of forgiveness, but no.

Holy cow the sexual tension is this book is THICKKKKKKK! It had its moment where it would grasp you in and not let go. But sometimes it was slower pace and a little hard to get through. For me saying that says a lot I’m a huge hockey romances book lover. I also felt like “the moment” where it came all together was very anticlimactic and then it was rushed the whole half chapter after. I will say so far I liked the Au Pair Affair better for sure and currently reading Fangirl Down and liking that mor too.

another great book by Tessa Bailey. Was looking forward to this book in the series and it did not disappoint!

Read this book in one day. I had a fun time learning about this relationship. The connection Sig and Clo had was electric and amazing to read.

What a love story! I have been looking forward to Sig and Chloe’s story and this did not disappoint. I really liked that we went back to see how they met and how they got to where they were in book two of the series.
The way they were with each other was just the sweetest thing! It was insta love but I was able to overlook that based on how long they fought their feelings. I love that they were each others best friends and just seeing what they would do for each other.
I enjoyed the way it was set up for the next book in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley, Tessa Bailey, and the publishers for the arc. #DreamGirlDrama #NetGalley

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tessa Bailey is big time hit or miss! And Dream Girl Drama was absolutely a miss for me.

Thank you to Avon books for sending me this book! I couldn't wait to read it!
Tessa Bailey's "Dream Girl Drama" is a delightful and steamy sports romance that hits all the right notes. This book delivers the perfect blend of humor, heart, and heat that Bailey is known for, making it a truly enjoyable read. It's a perfect pick for anyone looking for a lighthearted and engaging read and loves a good hockey romance (I know I do).
Thank you to Avon again for giving me the chance to read this book!

This had such a fun meet cute and an interesting couple. Chloe was enjoyable to follow and Sig, well, we stan a man who spoils his woman and takes care of her. Some of the family drama was a bit much at times but there were other elements of it that added to the story, so it didn’t take away from anything, and the premise promised that, so I think it worked. I think this was my favorite of the three in the series.

I loved this book.
I've been a big fan of the Big Shots series since Fangirl Down, I don't know what Tessa is putting in these books but there is something that is so addictive about them! Dream Girl Drama has been one of my most anticipated reads for awhile, and it lived up to everything I hoped it would be.
I'm not usually a fan of insta-love/lust in romance novels, but I think it works so well in this one as Sig and Chloe had already been introduced to us in The Au Pair Affair. Right away their dynamic was so electric, but knowing what awaits them had my chest aching. This book is filled with so much yearning (omg bring back men who yearn), tension, and just plain love for one another. I was rooting for their relationship every page just waiting to see how they'd finally end up together! This has been my favorite installment of the series so far, I truly could not put this book down.
Thank you so much NetGalley, Avon and Harper Voyager, and Tessa Bailey for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, I'm so thrilled to have gotten to read my most anticipated release of the year!

Tessa Bailey does it again! Chloe is a rich girl who has no idea how life functions. Sig is a guy who she meets at a bar, who also happens to be her impending step brother. Things get much more complicated from there. This book was absolutely delicious and I devoured it in less than a day.

Dream Girl Drama
By Tessa Bailey
Dream Girl Drama picks up where the Au Pair Affair left off, following Sig and Chloe. Sig is supposed to be meeting his Father's Girlfriend and Daughter before his car breaks down.Sig is a professional hockey player and meets a beautiful girl when his truck breaks down in a country club parking lot. Sig supports Chloe by helping her reach her dream without her Mothers' money and control over her life.
The pace of the book is fantastic, and it was great to jump back in the Big Shots world. I loved the balance of knowing that they loved each other, but couldn't do anything about. I also loved the care that each had for the other, that it was never just one sided.
I would give this book a 4.5/5 stars.
Dream Girl Drama is an adult book with spice.
Thank you Netgalley and Avon for the opportunity to read Dream Girl Drama.

Another part in the Big Shots series by Tessa Bailey. Dream Girl Drama is a fun, fast-paced spicy sports romance. The book follows pro hockey player Sig Gauthier and harpist Chloe Clifford, the future step siblings.
Overall, I liked this book. The characters were very likable, and the chemistry between characters was so good.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC copy.

This eas my first full length boom I've read by Tessa Bailey, and I wasn't disappointed! I'll definitely be buying a physical copy of this for my shelves. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this in advance.

Bruh. I've never been more excited about a step sibling book (ik they aren't technically)
Tessa Bailey is an autobuy author so l was so excited when I saw I was lucky enough to get the eARC from @netgalley !
The slow burn in the book is burning hot, my guy. Tessa never disappoints with the way her men make me feel.
Obsessed isn't a good enough word for how I feel about Sig. Lawdamercy. THAT. MAN. He isn't afraid to spoil his girl, lemme tell ya.
Now, comparatively speaking, Burgess is still my main man...but Sig is a close second.
HIGHLY suggest.

Didn't at all connect with this book or the characters unfortunately. Fell flat for me, FMC seemed so very helpless, which I get, she was very sheltered but it was a bit much. The whole they can't be together because they will be step siblings thing felt off to me as well. They were adults, had no idea their parents were even together when they met. Not my cup of tea from start to finish.

The beginning of the book had me hooked but once the storyline started getting messy due to the complications in their relationship, the story felt rushed. This was the first “step” sibling trope I’ve read and felt to rushed.

Everything Tessa writes turns to gold and now she’s dipping her toe into taboo???? I LOVE IT AND HER.
This story was everything I wanted and more. It’s now my favorite of the series bar none.

FORBIDDEN ROMANCE!!! When I read about these two in The Au Pair Affair I knew I had to get more! Sports romance is my jam, especially hockey, so i was in! I am not a big fan of instalust, but I do feel like it worked in this one because of the forbidden aspect of being step siblings. SO MUCH PINING!
