I loved the tension and characters in this book. I couldn’t put it down. I had a hard time loving au pair affair but loved this couple and story! One of my favorites of Tessa’s!

This was such a cute like forbidden love story. I loved the chemistry between Chloe and Sig right off the bat. I loved the storyline overall and the ending as well. Tessa Bailey rarely disappoints.

After finishing two angsty books recently, I was looking for something fun and light hearted to dive in to next! This book was exactly that! I was so excited to get Sig and Chloe’s backstory after meeting them in the previous book. It did not disappoint. Sig is the ultimate book boyfriend and completely devoted to Chloe. Overall, it was such a refreshing, fun, and light read!

This is the third book in this series. You don’t need to read the first two to enjoy this book (I hadn’t). I really liked this book & its characters. They both grow and change. It’s a slow burn but when it hits…it hits 🔥. It does have a break up of sorts and an HEA. Thanks to NetGalley, @Avonbooks and @HarperVoyagerUS for this ARC opportunity

I absolutely loved this book. Tessa Bailey books are usually hit or miss for me and this was a hit. Sometimes the characters’ relationships are eye roll inducing and annoying. This one was anything but! Sig is a professional hockey player and Chloe is a harpist, who has never lived on her own. Due to being future step-siblings, they can’t have a romantic relationship, but are very good friends with lots of romantic tension. The story was great. The ending was great (and unexpected). The tie in to characters from Fangirl Down and The Au Pair Affair was great. Overall a great read!

I was so excited to read this book. Tessa Bailey is one of my favorite authors. These two characters have instant chemistry when they meet. I read this book really quick. I loved how protective the MMC. They try to be respectful of a situation they are in but they can’t stay away from each other.

I think I’ve found a Tessa Bailey book I’d confidently recommend to romance readers, along with a new favorite Tessa Bailey hero who’s sure to melt every romance lover’s heart. Sig, the male lead in “Dream Girl Drama”, is thoughtful, dependable, and absolutely unforgettable.

The “Big Shots” series has started off strong with “Fangirl Down”, followed by Burgess and Tallulah’s story in “The Au Pair Affair”, but “Dream Girl Drama” stands out for me. While I’ve had some reservations about Tessa Bailey’s open-door romance scenes in the past, I found the intimate moments in this book a bit more bearable for my taste. What truly captured my attention was Sig and Chloe’s journey to finding their happily ever after and how Sig’s actions proved just how much he cared.

One of my favorite moments was when Chloe visited Sig’s place for the first time with Pierre. That scene was so heartwarming and gave me such admiration for Sig. What Chloe discovered during that visit was a powerful sign of just how deeply Sig loved her and how far he was willing to go to support her. It’s a moment that will stay with me as one of the most touching scenes I’ve read in Tessa Bailey’s books.

Chloe’s character development was also beautifully done. Watching her grow from a sheltered, privileged harp player to an independent woman who learned how to put others first—even at great personal cost—was incredibly rewarding. While she had a few setbacks along the way, her determination to stand her ground shone through. Her journey wasn’t easy, and those little stumbles made her story feel more real.

I also loved seeing Tallulah and Burgess make appearances in this book. I wish we’d seen more of Tallulah, but Burgess stepping into a big-brother role for the hockey team added a refreshing dynamic to the story. And the hint about Corrigan and Skylar leading the next installment is exciting! “Pitcher Perfect” in summer 2025? Count me in.

That said, there was one part of the story I found a little frustrating: the way people from Sig and Chloe’s professional lives kept interfering in their personal relationship. Yes, the main conflict revolved around the fact that they’d soon be step-siblings and were in love with each other, but the amount of meddling felt over the top at times. It seemed like everyone had an opinion about their relationship, which was a bit much.

Even with that minor complaint, I thoroughly enjoyed “Dream Girl Drama”. I’d recommend it to romance fans who love unique pairings—like a hockey player and a harpist—or stories featuring tough-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside heroes. If the idea of a future step-sibling romance intrigues you, this book will deliver plenty of feels.

A big thank you to Tessa Bailey, Avon and Harper Voyager, and NetGalley for the early access to “Dream Girl Drama” in exchange for an honest review. Mark your calendars for February 4, 2025, because this is one romance you won’t want to miss!

Light, steamy and soooooo much drama lol. Loved how Sig helped Chloe gain independence from her mother. Their bond was touching and I just adored them.
Thank you netgalley for the arc.

This was my first contemporary romance in a WHILE, but it reminded me just how much I love this genre. Sig the broody, overly protective, honorable, caretaker of a hockey player utterly stole my heart. I mean come on! Who could turn their heads or their hearts away from a man who takes care of their girl the way he does! 👀 And Chloe is such a relatable character despite coming from unfathomable amounts of money and country clubs. Something about her character just felt so homey and familiar and I loved every second of it.

Now those two together??? Cue the fireworks! I’m still having heart palpitations over the eloquently written love story that I just finished. From passionate, consuming feelings of love to spice that had me blushing like a school girl this checked all the boxes for me. 10/10 no notes. I pre-ordered a physical copy of this book at 12% in to the e-ARC….so yes…READ THIS BOOK!!

* I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this book. All thoughts are my own.

While I loved Sig, reading this book was kind of uncomfortable because it really borders the line of taboo with the almost step sibling thing. It does end in a HEA (of course) but there’s no resolution until almost the end of the book. Chloe is interesting because I feel like she matured throughout the book but it was hard to see her as an adult because she was raised to not be able to do anything for herself so it still seems like she’s 18 and in college trying to learn everything for the first time.

This was my last favorite book of the series.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 only because i loved the first two SO MUCH, It was hard for this one to compare.

Dream Girl Drama we get Sig and Chloe’s story who were introduced in book 2. Tessa Baileys dirty talking and spicy scenes have been too good in her sports romances. I almost felt like we got too much of Sig and Chloe’s story in book 2 and none of Burguess and Talullah in theirs? I wanted more of the rookies and the baseball team!! The whole book was just Sig and Chloe’s chemistry (which was off the charts) but i wanted a little bit more. Overall i still really enjoyed It.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC. These opinions are entirely my own!

5⭐️ After seeing Sig and Chloe in previous books, I was so excited for their story! It didn’t start how I expected, and I had no idea how it would end. They’re my favorite couple in the series so far!

Sig meets Chloe, and sparks fly,but when he finds out she’s about to become his step-sister, things get complicated. Their chemistry is undeniable, but staying “just friends”proves tough. This book was at the top of my TBR for 2025, and I’m thrilled to have read the eARC. Huge thanks to Avon and Harper Voyager!

Tropes-
🏒 Instant love
🏒 Forbidden love
🏒 Opposites attract

3.5 stars // Chloe and Sig had chemistry for days and I loved it. He was so gone for her and it was adorable. I don’t think that the conflict warranted the amount of drama they all put in to it, but that’s just my own personal opinion. As always, an easy sexy read from Tessa Bailey

I was super excited about this book because I highly enjoyed the other books in the series. This book is not my favorite in the series. I personally struggled to get into it. It started very fast but started to slow down. I enjoyed the stubbornness of the characters but it might have gotten in the way. The twist at the end was not expected and I enjoyed how it was wrapped with a nice little bow.

Not a huge fan of insta love and didn’t love this book. Maybe because I didn’t read the first two in the series. Decent chemistry but that’s about it and doesn’t make up for how annoying the characters could be with the lack of deeper connections, etc.

Super exciting to see these two get center stage. Yet another instalove, fun and flirty read by Tessa Bailey. I think there’s too much emphasis placed on the characters being step siblings. They meet as adults not as children raised in the same household. You can’t help but fall in love with the two of them together and the sacrifices made for one another. My favorite of the trio is book one but this is a solid story with likable characters and the perfect amount of lust.

I was so excited to receive this book! After reading the last in the series I couldn’t wait for Sig and Chloe’s story. And honestly it was so worth the wait! They are so perfect for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed the book!

This is it. Tessa’s best book yet. I SOBBED. The YEARNING, you guys! Sig is the ABSOLUTE UNCONTESTED KING of pining. It’s been a minute since I’ve read a book that got into my feels that hard. Chloe’s personal growth beyond the spoiled chaos queen is so wonderful to see and I loved every minute of it.

Gonna end up coming back to this one, I swear.

I have mixed feelings on this one. I enjoyed their relationship, the chemistry was off the charts. The hockey part was great and I loved the side characters. But the big problem in the book was that their parents were to be married, which would make them “step siblings” and therefore forbidden to be together? They met in their 20s and weren’t raised together? I’m not seeing the world ending issue it’s portrayed as. And the ending was fairly predictable. But the banter was good, and the way they cared for each other was sweet. Probably a 3.5/4 for me on this one.
