This book was such a fun ride!

When hockey star Sig Gauthier ends up stranded, he wanders into a fancy country club and bumps into Chloe. Sparks fly immediately!

I was blown away by how these two handled all the craziness thrown at them. I had no idea how they were going to overcome their problems, but they sure found a way. I was definitely surprised at the ending, but so happy!

Tessa Bailey nails it again—every book is a winner, and this one is no exception.

Sig and Chloe’s chemistry is off the charts. His protective instincts toward Chloe make their connection even sweeter, and the way he just wants to give her everything? So sweet.

Oh, and there’s an adorable dog that makes everything even better!

If you love feel-good stories packed with passion, family drama, and some unexpected twists, you’re going to want to grab this one!

Thank you NetGalley and Avon Books for this gifted copy!

3.5 stars rounded up. I have absolutely loved this series so far and this was no exception! While it wasn't my favorite of the series, it had all the stuff I've come to love from Tessa Bailey. The banter, the spice, the humor 😘 The insta-love didn't quite work for me and the soon to be step siblings trope wasn't my favorite. Not because of anything taboo but because they are both grown adults and allow their parents to control them. There were also a few time jumps that I just wasn't a fan of. I did enjoy the ending though and was really happy with how it turned out, even though it made so much of the drama to be pointless. Overall, not my favorite but still fun and I enjoyed the continuation of previous characters I loved.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I absolutely loved it. I have read many of Tessa’s books including the last in this series. This one was even better than the Au Pair Affair. Recommend!

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

This story is about two step siblings who meet and fall in love. They feel like they can’t be together because of how people perceive it. They met before they knew their parents were together so that makes it less weird. This wasn’t my favorite trope but I do love a fluffy romance.

Well well well. @tessabaileyisanauthor has written the yearn-iest book I think I’ve ever read.

Hockey star Sig Gauthier is on his way to meet his father’s new girlfriend when his dilapidated truck breaks down outside a ritzy country club. He’s not a member, of course, so he’s not getting any help until the girl of his dreams comes over to rescue him. She’s beautiful and funny and their chemistry is burning bright. They spend some time together talking and enjoying the hell out of one steamy kiss. But they both have places to be. Their story is to be continued.

Sig shows up at the fancy house of Sofia Clifford, Dad’s girlfriend, and who is there playing the harp like the angel she is? His dream girl, Chloe Clifford.

And their night is about to get worse. Her mom and his dad announce they’re engaged. Oh fuuuuu. That’s not going to work for these burgeoning lovers.

Chloe had told him earlier she wants to study at Berklee in Boston where he lives and plays hockey for the Boston Bearcats. During dinner he convinces Chloe he can help her set up her new life in Boston and away they go.

They also know that unless their parents break up there’s no way they can be together without major scandal. So, they’re best friends who *long* for each other. They’re both down bad, but Sig is beyond.

I loved them becoming so close and knowing everything about each other. Their intimacy and care for each other is incredibly heartwarming and you just about want to cry over their circumstances.

Tessa is an auto-read author for me and that doesn’t appear to be changing any time soon.

I received this eARC via #netgalley and @Avonbooks and @HarperVoyagerUS. All thoughts are mine alone.

Great book. Two people who dislike their parents meet at a country club. Turns out that their parents are about to get married. The mom is a control freak who uses money to control her daughter. The dad abandon his family when they were young to gold dig older women. The couple decides to go to boston together and grow their romance from there.

It was an OK book.

Tessa Bailey does it again! Dream Girl Drama packs her usual punch of sweet, spicy, and butterly-inducing banter. New and old fans alike will love this one!

Thank you to HarperCollins and NetGalley for the ARC! I am in no way opposed to Tessa Bailey's brand of insta-love but this iteration did work for me as much as I'd hoped. Perhaps I'm too deep into the romance genre, but the central conflict of this book (that Sig and Chloe could not be together because their parents were getting married, making them soon-to-be step-siblings) felt flimsy. They met well into adulthood and before they had any knowledge of their parent's relationship so their attraction to each other didn't exactly veer into the taboo. Maybe I'm not tuned into hockey or the inner workings of major symphonies, but I can't imagine a hockey player or harpist's personal relationships being fodder for the Boston Globe (or internet sleuths working overtime on message boards). Chloe's naivete and helplessness made their relationship so uneven it was often cringe-worthy. Chloe's didn't make a transition into independence when she left her mother's mansion but rather immediately became co-dependent with Sig (who funded her incredibly indulgent lifestyle). Chloe's character was quite underdeveloped throughout, making it challenging to empathize with her character or root for her and Sig. Their obsession with one another seems more fueled by physical attraction than anything else. There are a lot of sweet moments mentioned in passing that I think would fortify the relationship but they happen off-page. The side characters that usually add some color to Tessa Bailey's books were also noticeably absent in this book.

I’d like to state that I went into this prepared to cringe the entire time and damn it, I really didn’t think Tessa could get me on board this future step sibling disaster story…

YET HERE WE ARE!!!

Frustrating rich girl energy aside, we have to give Chloe benefit of the doubt bc we all had to learn how to toast a pop tart at some point in our lives, right?? She just figures it out in her 20s. She shreds on the harp tho 😎

Sig is THAT guy— you know the kind that would rather die than miss your harp performance and makes sure he knows your favorite eye cream brand. Yea, we all deserve a Sig.

Together they make the most chaotic controversial couple in the Tessa-verse but they’re hot so it’s cool!!

Thank u again to Avon and Netgalley for a wonderful un-put-down-able read 🩵

(FYI, they meet in their late 20s before finding out their parents even know each other OK, it’s happens in the first 3 pages of the book, damn!!)

**Review of *Dream Girl Drama* by Tessa Bailey**

*Dream Girl Drama* by Tessa Bailey is an absolute delight! This fun and flirty romance takes us on a wild ride with professional hockey player Sig Gauthier and the enchanting Chloe Clifford, who is as captivating as she is adventurous. Their meet-cute at a posh country club, sparked by a broken-down car and a stolen bottle of champagne, sets the tone for a whirlwind of chemistry and banter that keeps you hooked from the start.

The twist that Chloe is Sig's future stepsister adds a delightful layer of tension and humor. Their attempts to navigate this unexpected family dynamic while keeping their undeniable attraction at bay are both hilarious and heartwarming. Bailey's writing shines as she balances laugh-out-loud moments with genuine emotion, making you root for this pair every step of the way.

Chloe, with her sheltered upbringing and passion for the harp, is a wonderfully relatable character who longs for independence. Sig’s promise to teach her the ropes of life in Boston is both sweet and hilarious, especially when they keep trying (and failing) to maintain boundaries. The tension between wanting to be just friends and the magnetic pull between them creates an engaging push-and-pull that makes for an irresistible read.

Overall, *Dream Girl Drama* is a charming and entertaining story about love, family, and self-discovery. Tessa Bailey has crafted a vibrant world filled with quirky characters and laugh-out-loud moments. If you’re looking for a fun escape with a mix of romance and family drama, this book is a must-read! You won’t be able to put it down!

Dream Girl Drama is a sexy, slow-burn romance featuring a protective hockey star and a quirky prodigy harpist who catch feelings quickly, but are forced to put them on the backburner as news of their parent's engagement will make their relationship forbidden as step-siblings. Tessa Bailey can do no wrong and writes an addicting romance that is impossible to put down.

Chloe has lived a sheltered life, training hard as a harpist and having everything controlled by her mother. Sig is a professional hockey player who is working hard to secure a new contract that will reflect his talent. They happen to meet when Sig's car breaks down and he finds himself stranded near an elite country club. It's super exclusive and he just walks in the front door hoping no one notices in time for him to find a charger for his phone. But he is met with resistance as soon as he steps foot in the club. And that is when Chloe saves the day; pretending that she knows him claiming they are childhood friends. From the moment they lay eyes on each other, there is an indescribable connection. They hit it off and even ended their night with a passionate kiss. Their time is cut short as they each have plans. Sig is surprised when he meets his father and notices Chloe is also in attendance. Turns out their parents are getting engaged making any feelings forbidden. Now, they are forced to control themselves and keep things strictly platonic.

That becomes tougher to accomplish when Chloe moves to Boston...where Sig lives. She is hoping to gain her independence and learn how to live on her own and Sig is there for her every step of the way. Their chemistry is apparent and I was rooting for them the entire time. They both didn't want to enter into a relationship with their potential step-sibling and never crossed that line romantically. But they are doing their best to find a solution to their problem. But will they be able to stay friends forever?

I loved this book so much. Chloe and Sig are so likable and perfect for each other, but you see how their parent's relationship puts a damper on anything more ever happening. The slow burn makes you want them to give in so badly and also makes you appreciate their dynamic even more. I especially enjoyed the spicy scenes. Tessa Bailey never disappoints in that department! Dream Girl Drama is a 5-star read that once you pick up you won't be able to put down!

Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey is the 3rd book in the "Big Shots" series (I can't help but wonder if there will be another!!!). This book follows professional hockey player Sig Gauthier, bestie and teammate of Burgess who was featured in The Au Pair Affair.

In a chance encounter, Sig meets Chloe when his beat up truck breaks down near a swanky Connecticut Country Club. Despite coming from different worlds, the instant chemistry between the two is undeniable. Timing is not in their favor as they each have somewhere to be. Luck is not in their favor as they end up at the engagement party of Sig's father to Chloe's mother. Future step-siblings?! In an impulsive decision, Chloe leaves her sheltered life in CT to join Sig in Boston so she can pursue a professional career as a symphony harpist. Sig and Chloe agree to keep their relationship as "best friends." Can they keep the boundary lines in place while she is his dream girl?

Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager, and NetGalley for a digital ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Steamy hockey forbidden romance. Sig encounters Chloe by chance and there’s an immediate connection, yet they can’t become anything more than friends. Overall, I enjoyed this book, however I felt that the plot moved a little slowly up until the last 1/3ish of it. It was a nice light read, good palette cleanser in between heavier books.

This book was such a fun read! Chloe and Sig have a love at first sight connection when they meet at her country club in Connecticut when his truck breaks down. They have the most passionate kiss and then have to go their separate ways because they each have plans, but make a plan to meet up afterwards. When they get to their separate places they end up at the same dinner party and learn that his dad is getting married to her mom! Total buzzkill! They are going to be future step siblings as adults who are super horny for each other. Sig is a pro-hockey player in Boston and Chloe is a dysfunctional harp prodigy who is offered a scholarship at Berklee. In an attempt at rebellion Chloe leaves with Sig and moves to Boston where he dotes on her and she is his biggest hockey fan. The sexual tension is thick and every one is wondering what type of relationship these two really have…the stakes are high for both of their careers and the two of them defying convention to be together isn’t an option. How will they get their happy ending?! Definitely read to find out!

I had a lot of fun reading this book. It’s Tessa Bailey so of course I laughed the whole time. I thought the conflict could have been solved if they would have just been honest with their parents early on but that’s not interesting for a romance novel. Overall 8/10! Definitely recommend

I’ve been excited for Sig and Chloes’s book since the beginning of The Au Pair Affair, and this did NOT disappoint. I loved their meet cute. Then immediately after you get the awkward moment they lose the high they were both on from it, by find out they are soon to be step siblings.
Sig is SUCH a golden retriever and is so protective of Chloe right from the beginning. Chloe is exactly who I expected to be…..sheltered rich kid **but not in a bad way at all!
The spice was good and the right amount in my opinion. This was by far my favorite Tessa book. Such a fun enjoyable read.

Love it! I’m a sucker for a good hockey romance and the tension in this slow burn was amazing. I could feel it burning off the pages I loved this one a tad bit more than the last what I love the most is these are standalones so they can be read by themselves

Tessa keeps deepening my love for her characters and stories. In the latest installment of the Big Shots series, we follow Sig's romantic journey, and it’s a story I couldn’t tear myself away from. Sig finds himself in a tricky situation that no one would want to face, leaving me constantly wondering, "What would I do?" Chloe is a fantastic new addition to the series, and I hope everyone adores her as much as I do. The chemistry between them is electric, with sparks flying high throughout their relationship.

Thank you to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this one a bit more than the second book in this series, but it still didn’t live up to the love I had for Fangirl Down. I honestly couldn’t wait for Chloe and Sig’s story. I loved the little bits of them we have gotten previously. However, we got absolutely zero relationship development in this book. We are just told how in love they are and that’s it. Before I hit 30% in this book we had had like 7 time jumps of random months (two months later, five months later, three months later, etc.). This took away so much from their relationship for me. We didn’t see any development at all. Also like they weee both grown adults who had rocky relationships with their parents when they met, so I honestly didn’t buy how big of a deal the “step-siblings” trope was here (like if they had met when they were younger or anything it would have made sense to me, but it honestly just felt annoying). I loved both Sig and Chloe as characters. I still enjoyed the book for the most part, but I just really wanted more.

I LOVE TESSA BAILEY! I love this sports series - all titles have been super enjoyable. This is the third and you can read them as stand alones. Chloe and Sig's story is a slow burn and then BOOM! the room is on fire! I can't wait to read more.

The next book set in this world. The tension between the couples was great, but the need of Sig to take care of everyone was a a little off-putting
