I really enjoyed this book. Nice plot, good mystery, interesting characters.
This was a nice read. Kept me interested and guessing. A few things easily stood out and a few others were interesting surprises.
The connections between the murders was a neat detail that kept me very curious to see how many more would be found.

Thank you NetGalley for the copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this thriller by Sandra J Jackson. Garret's much loved wife disappears under mysterious circumstances. Thereafter, Garratt's and Elizabeth's lives are intertwined in an unexpected way. It's gripping in parts,  wince worthy, but also manages to weave heartfelt human elements of family and courage into the narrative beautifully.

It's well plotted. The engaging storyline and mysteries of this puzzling tale concludes with a great ending.

Highly recommended for thriller, murder mystery readers who like a compassionate but exciting story.

The integrating of characters was done flawlessly. The story moved at a good pace, varying view points and kept you interested to see how it all interconnected.

I have read all of Ms. Jackson’s books, just finishing Letting Go of September! I thought this was her best yet! The characters were extremely believable and the plot(s) kept twisting and turning with no predictability of what was going to happen next! The short chapters made it more like “eating popcorn”…just one more chapter kept me awake long into the night! If you enjoy reading a good “who done it”, THIS is the book for you! Excellent read!!!

This book was okay. the concept and the thriller parts were good, but the main character was an insufferable little baby. He was immature and holding onto something that wasnt his. He felt way to possessive and creepy. It made me dislike this book a lot. I think it was too misogynistic and it took away from the thrill of the rest of the book.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers, and especially the author for this ARC in exchange for my honest review of the book!!

A year after his wife leaves him, Garrett Emerson is still struggling with the loss. Tired of the loneliness and the constant feeling something just isn’t right, he finally decides to put it all behind him. Will reacquainting with an old friend be the push he needs to move on?! Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, mystery, and a few twists and turns. The story was interesting, it wasn’t one of my top favorites but worth reading! I recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
