For a lot of people, Christmas is their favorite time of the year. For me, it isn't; I don't like all that, often, fake behaviour of people you never see during the rest of the year, but who would hug and kiss you like you are their best friends. For me, it's just another day and honestly I am counting the hours until that one is finally over.

For me, it was never fun having to spend it with the in laws.  I could feel every emotion Natalie felt too. But thank God I never had to deal with an ex-wife to top it all.

Sometimes when you try to be on your best behaviour, things go wrong or did someone try to sabotage you? 

You are happy you have at least one ally and that gives you the strength to get through the weekend. Well, that's the plan....

I hope you will enjoy 'driving down' the winding road the author has set for her readers as much as I did. Be ready to be surprised. :)

Here's an intriguing proposition. On a frighteningly snowy might, Natalie and her new husband arrive at his parents' house for Christmas. Natalie is already nervous, knowing Dominic's parents think he has married beneath himself. But then she finds his ex wife Carla is also staying - and Dominic's parents can't do enough for her.
Before Christmas is over there will be a dead body and two people close to death.
I enjoyed how Frankland manipulates our perceptions, changing our view of the characters. The treacherous snow and cold lends another level of terror. An engrossing and enjoyable read.

Another exciting read from this author, full of mystery and intrigued but not a very nice family

I was hooked on the storyline and with the characters but not all likeable in my opinion.

What a family! The MC drove me crazy with her appeasing attitude but the mean family vibes made this one a lot of fun. I liked the way it turned out. Unbelievable? So what, enjoy the ride.

There were many rollercoasters of deadly twists and turns that kept me gripped to my kindle! It was addictive, chilling and pulse- racing!

My favourite characters were Carla and Natalie as I found the dynamics changed between these two characters as the story progressed.

Overall, a great book and plot that keeps you guessing until the last page!

Wow this certainly gripped me from the beginning, it definitely gives off housemaid vibes so anyone who is a lover of that will love His Ex-wife.
I personally guessed some of the twists and turns (don’t worry no spoilers from me) however I still absolutely devoured this and read it within 24 hours.
Certainly an edge of your seat read and one that’ll leave you gobsmacked and feeling so many different emotions,
I always think it’s an incredible talent for a writer to make you despise a character and this made me feel this way about several so well done Maria Frankland

This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, and a few crazy twists and turns!! The storyline was very interesting! I highly recommend reading this book! I really enjoyed this book! It grabbed my attention from the very beginning, and I stayed hooked until the very end. This story had a lot of great twists and turns, and I wasn't sure how it would all end. The ending was great! I would recommend to other thriller readers!

I am so glad this book His Ex- Wife published by bookouture was approved. So excited to read more of it. I just started this book and again I’m so glad it was approved because I’ve noticed a lot of books were declined by this publisher. Most of my physical books I own is from bookouture and in future I would love to work for bookouture arcs, and get PR arcs in future if that’s applicable. Full review to follow!
