This one is in the middle for KL Slater. I feel like the ending results were rather rushed-too many secrets that were just thrown in the readers face at once. Liv and her husband, Rich, have a plan for him to disappear for a number of years. Once that time is up, money will appear in Liv's account and her husband can come back to her and their son, Maddox. Maddox is now a teenager and getting involved with some dodgy people. Are they all connected? Meanwhile, Kait finds a piece of paper that her husband, Daniel dropped. She puts two and two together and thinks perhaps her husband is the missing husband of Liv. The different connections will shock you for sure!

A plan gone horribly wrong. Imagine making a plan in where your husband fakes a disappearance and you have a small son.
When they day comes for you to reunite, you realize the man you thought YOU both had, can put your family in jeopardy? Has he moved on? What is happening? Slater always gives the readers a new perspective on a twist that is CRAZY and I am here for it.

I just read the most shocking psychological thriller. The Married Man was awesome! It kept me going from the beginning to the end!

THE MARRIED MAN was a crazy rollercoaster of a book with surprises around every corner. The premise seemed simple at first but additional plotlines and characters were quickly introduced as the story developed. The author did a great job keeping everything distinct and easy to follow, even as more twists emerged and motivations uncovered. There were times when it almost felt too convoluted, but was still able to track everything to its final conclusion.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review THE MARRIED MAN.

This book didn't grip me, the way I had hoped it would. Overall it wasn't bad, but I just didn't feel like I ever connected with the story. I'm sure other readers will enjoy it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

11 years ago Liv’s husband disappeared. She’s waited all this time for him to come back and now it’s the day to change her and her son Maddox’s lives. Kait is pregnant with her first child. Her husband is acting a bit dodgy and she is convinced he is having an affair. Is Danny Liv’s long lost husband?

Wow! Just wow!

Loved this so much. Fast paced, exciting, kept me guessing. Cannot praise it enough. We flip from past to present and through a number of characters as the truth is slowly revealed. Plenty of twists and red herrings. This was the perfect thriller and I’m very grateful to have been given a copy. Highly recommend.

This talented author has written a page turner. Red herrings kept me guessing. Secrets..family and friends…don’t try to guess the ending too soon. Surprises…surprises…this mystery was difficult to put down until finished. Thanks Netgalley.
