Nikolai takes you into the world of Odin. Twins, Erik and Ronja, are treated to their older sister's ill advised meeting with Odin because he treated her without respect and maid her pregnant with his child. The twins decided to hunt Odin and were called Odinsbane because of this intent. What happened was that they ran into a witch, Ingvild, that wasn't a black witch and also ran into a Huldr which saves them in the future. There's a lot of scenarios that have taken place but you will be struck dumb by what happens in the end. Nikolai ends it with what can be another novel.
This was a strong start to the Odinsbane Saga series, it uses the Norse mythology in a unique way and was engaging. It had that power that I wanted and did a great job in keeping me reading. It had that element that I was looking for and thought the overall concept worked well. The characters felt like they were supposed to be there and had that element that I enjoyed in the genre. Nikolai Sie does a great job in writing this and left me wanting to read the next book.
