DNF at 46% and I hate to do that, but it just doesn't work.
Mainly, the book is number 2 in a serie and this wasn't mentioned when I requested the ebook.
I thought I could get over it as sometimes stories are not crossing all that much, but there were too many mentions of events in the first book, people in the first book which... Obviously I never heard of! At this point I just dont like playing catch-up and it's pulling me out of the book more than anything. Too bad cause if I had known or read the first one, I probably would have been into it since the Multi-Timeline and and time travel is something I usually really like.

This was an enjoyable, fast paced read! I was a fan of the writing style, the pacing of this book, and the book overall. It kept me wondering what was going to happen next, and kept me wanting to finish the book. I liked the mesh of sci-fi, historical fiction, and thriller, it is such a good combo of some of my favorite genres!
