Great compilation. I love these kinds of anthologies and this is no exception. Urban fantasy lovers, this one is for you!

As always with collections, a mixed bag. Really enjoyed the Emma Bull and Nnedi Okorafor, but have already forgotten all of the rest, honestly.

I quite liked this anthology, but I am definitely the person this was written for, because Urban Fantasy + Magic Users = my jam.

The quality of the short stories will vary - as in any anthology, but I find myself thinking it might be due to personal tastes more than anything else really. For instance, I really didn't like Simon Green's and Patricia Brigg's stories, but I think it might be because I never actually liked their books\worlds, either.

Regardless, this is an interesting anthology to pick up if you like Urban Fantasy, and like short stories.

My fault for asking to see this title, but my appetit for short stories has diminished, even though some of the authors are among my favourite novelists. No published review
