This book club kit has the best elements to help facilitate a great discussion of Children of Blood and Bone. When our book club isn't able to talk directly to an author during our meeting, having the author interview like the one in this kit adds so much to our discussion and understanding of the book and the author's intent. The printable bookmarks, games and recipes for food are just plain fun, and add to an immersive feel of the group's read. I LOVE when authors create a playlist on spotify to listen to while reading a book. Again, it adds another element to the reader's enjoyment of the story, and helps the reader feel immersed in the story, particularly a book like Children of Blood and Bone, which is world building and fantasy. As my book club's facilitator, THANK YOU for the discussion questions! Not only are they more interesting than questions I can come up with, they also steer the conversation into areas that the author intends the reader to think about.

The discussion questions were such a great help for when we didn't know what to talk about next and the bookmarks were such a nice surprise 😍 they look amazing and now we all have one of each!

A great game I would love to see in other kits would be quotes and then we have to guess who said it.

I loved this book club kit! I really enjoyed the author interview as well as the discussion questions. I liked the Maji Clan Quiz, as a quiz isn't a frequent thing in book club kids.

This Book Club Kit would make the perfect companion to any meeting on Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I loved how interactive this kit is with activities including discussion questions, an interview with the author, traditional Nigerian recipe ideas, a playlist, quizzes and bookmarks. Additionally I liked that further book recommendations were given at the end alongside reasons why you should read those books if you enjoyed Children of Blood and Bone. The layout and design of the kit makes it very easy to read and engage with.

Overall this is a great book club kit and would provide plenty of activities for a book club meeting.
