Fairly fast paced story with lots of twists and turns and I have no doubt that some readers will absolutely love it. It is to me very much a ‘holiday ‘ book

I am afraid that I did not enjoy it. I did not enjoy what seemed to be a paranoid stream of consciousness of the main character, questioning everyone and everything. Now I will concede that in a relationship where someone is being constantly gaslit, it does invoke paranoia but I don’t feel there was enough build up to it from ‘he didn’t use to work away this much’ to where we find Aria within the first few pages of the book,

I could not believe that a woman who holds her friend as dear as she does the character of Cassandra would not confide in her, or tell her about significant events.

The storyline became ever wilder and the actions/reactions of the protagonist and others became increasingly implausible as did the tying up of all the threads. It is incredible that the ending, to me, was both predictable but unbelievable,

M.Q. Webb’s How Well Do You Know Your Husband is a pulse-pounding psychological thriller that takes readers on a chilling journey of love, betrayal, and paranoia. With its intricately woven plot and unreliable characters, this novel will keep you guessing until the very last page.

Aria, the protagonist, appears to have the perfect life—until cracks begin to form. When she suspects her husband, Ethan, of infidelity, her picture-perfect world starts to collapse. Webb expertly portrays Aria’s growing distrust and emotional turmoil, pulling the reader into her fractured reality. As Aria begins to notice someone following her, the tension ratchets up, culminating in the brutal murder of her friend, Isla, at a shadowy bar. This turning point transforms the story from a tale of domestic suspense into a full-fledged whodunit with high stakes.

The writing is taut and atmospheric, immersing readers in Aria’s paranoia. Every character, from Ethan to the seemingly benign people in Aria’s life, becomes a suspect. Webb masterfully keeps the reader questioning who can be trusted and whether Aria’s perceptions are reliable. The pacing is relentless, with each chapter unraveling new secrets and red herrings that deepen the mystery.

One of the novel’s strengths lies in its exploration of trust and deception within relationships. Aria’s inner struggle to reconcile her love for Ethan with her suspicions creates a compelling emotional core. The themes of betrayal, grief, and self-doubt add depth to the plot, elevating the book beyond a simple thriller.

How Well Do You Know Your Husband is a gripping tale for fans of domestic thrillers and psychological suspense. Perfect for readers who enjoy the mind games of Lisa Jewell or the shocking twists of Gillian Flynn, Webb’s novel is a must-read that will leave you questioning how well you know the people in your own life.

This thriller is a twisty ride filled with deceit, betrayal, and murder. Is someone following Aria? Is her husband having an affair? High intensity sprinkled with mystery describes this original, entertaining, fast-paced page-turner. The shocking conclusion was a satisfying ending to this unpredictable, intriguing tale. There were numerous twists throughout that I never saw coming. This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely will not be the last.

What can I say about this book?!

A happy marriage. The other woman. A husband with so many secrets. Was your life just an illusion. What little things did you overlook not knowing you had.

Finished it in a day. In all honestly if I didn’t have things to get done I would’ve had it finished in a sitting.

I was invested within the first chapter. You know how sometimes it takes a bit to get into the story not this one for me.

So many little twists to keep you enticed but just when you think it’s over is it really over? That one got me. I like when a story isn’t to easy to guess the plot twist and I guarantee you’ll be just a shocked as I was reading this one.

Definitely recommend if you like thrillers or suspense reads.

I usually love a good domestic thriller but for me this wasn't a good pick. I do see potential for others loving this so it is purely a me thing.

The pro's for me:
1. It was fast paced which I want for a thriller
2. It had an interesting premise.
3. It had interesting characters.

The con's for me:
1. There was so much going on that it needed a little more time to develope. Again I want fast paced but I feel there is so much content there that more could be added and it would still be fast paced.
2. The characters were interesting ideas but there were either too many for this story or more character content was needed. Instead we got a quick introduction to a character then either contradictory storyline (Cassandra) or hey I bet you forgot about me now I'm going to kill you (Willow)

The opening of the story sucks you in though. My initial thought was that the husband was a serial killer that went after unfaithful partners, which excited me because I've never come across a story of a male vigilante seeking justice for indiscretions.

Although I personally didn't vibe with the story I do know plenty of people in my book groups that would enjoy it so I will be recommending to them.

This was a crazy, late night, page turner. I was completely surprised by the ending! Although it was a little too unrealistic for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and it kept me interested. I will recommend this book and this author to others.

Hold on tight!! How Well Do You Know Your Husband takes you on many, many twists and turns that I literally didn’t want to stop reading. I read it in a day because I actually didn’t. Though the wife made me mad at times for being so naive and cowardly, it was a really good book. Well written and exciting. I didn’t see that ending coming…
Thank you NetGalley, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) and MQ Webb for this eARC.

This book had me guessing until the very end. Aria thinks her husband is cheating and his lover is following her. When she witnesses her friend death, her paranoia grows. Can she trust her husband or her other friends. Aria tries to unravel the lies and it just becomes more complicated. Can she figure things out in time or will it be to late.

This is my first book by the author and I will gladly read others. I loved the twists.

Thank you to NetGalley for an advance copy of this book.

Aria and her husband have been married for only a short time (3 years, I think). Having been trying for a baby and not having much success, she wants to see a fertility specialist and wants to talk to her husband about it first. With the struggles of not becoming pregnant, it is taking longer than she anticipated. Now, she fears that her husband is having an affair since it seems he keeps taking more and more time away from home due to work.

Isla and Aria decide to have a girl’s night out to get Arias mind off everything going on. But shortly after Aria thinks she is being followed, was this supposed to be the one to get murdered and not her best friend?

This book had me hooked overall would give it a 4.5 stars

First of all, thank you to TBR Press and Net Galley for the ARC of this phenomenal novel. HOLY ****!! I was enthralled the entire time. I didn’t see any of this coming; the twists were insane. I literally finish this book in a day because I could not put it down. The only thing keeping this from being a five star read for me was the final few chapters where every character we had ever met was somehow brought back to the narrative…maybe we didn’t really NEED all that, but overall I would recommend!

Wowwwwwwww!!!!! This plot of “how well do you know your husband,” has been done a lot of ways, but this was crazy, twisty, full of deceit and tons of wtf moments! Wow this kept getting crazier & crazier once I hit the 60% mark, and it kept getting worse! I literally could not put this down once I halfway through because I wanted to know wth was going to happen next! I could figure out the main twist but the rest of the twists were sooo crazy & twisted I never saw those others twists coming!!

If you’re wanting a twisty thriller that you can’t put down, this is the story for you! This is my first book by this author and she did not let me down! The last quarter of the story made this story way better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be just like the other way this story typically goes, but nope this was much more twisted than I expected it to be. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re wanting a super twisty thriller!

The first half of this book was excellent. I love a good thriller, but I felt like there were too many twists and shocks thrown in the second part. Like not believable. I found that I was ready for the book to be done and just didn’t care what happened at the end. I think if it had been a little more streamlined I would have enjoyed it more.
Overall, it is entertaining.
Thank you

This book was so full of OMG moments I lost count of them. Lies, deceit, murder, it was all there. There were so many twists I didn't see coming with an ending that blew me away.

Aria and Ethan have been married for three years. When Ethan leaves on yet another business trip, Aria decides to go out to a bar to celebrate some good news with her friends. From that point on the action is nonstop as Aria's life starts to unravel.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a true domestic thriller that was easy to fly through. I couldn't put it down once I got sucked in.

Thanks to Netgalley and TBR Publishing for the advanced copy
