Not exactly what I expected regardless it was still interesting! It’s a little difficult to follow on my kindle than if I would have had a physical copy. I would have liked to been able to fill in the blanks with my personal thoughts. Once I have the chance I may have to pick up a physical copy so I can do just that!

I love how Havilah writes. It feels very similar to the podcasts and the course but I love how it's formatted as a journal. The reflection questions are great and the pacing is good.

The Created to Hear God Journal taught me to keep track of my time with God and to pay closer attention to what He is saying. This journal is informative and enlightening.

I received an advanced reader’s copy from Thomas Nelson and Netgalley. Opinions are my own.

Havilah Cunnington is a best-selling Christian author whose book "Created to Hear God" now has this journal to go along with it, entitled "Created to Hear God Journal: A Daily Guide to Develop 4 Unique and Proven Ways to Confidently Discern His Voice." Cunnington says that there are a couple main reasons why Christians don't hear from God: we think there's only one way to listen and/or we have overcomplicated God. According to the author, each person has prophetic personality type. These types are known as the hearer, the seer, the feeler, and the knower. Each personality type interacts with and hears God differently. Cunnington gives examples and details how each type can hear God best.

If you've read the original book, "Created to Hear God", then this book would be a good resource to you. As someone who did not read the original book, I felt like I was just glossing the surface and didn't have a good understanding of Cunnington's claims. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
