Intriguing graphic novel for older teens and adults about a talking cat! But Burma not only can talk, he's been living 8 different lives, throughout history. He narrates his memoir to Allison, a journalist/blogger, telling her how he's disguised himself each time as a differently-colored cat, from ancient Egypt to living with Queen Elizabeth the first and then with Napoleon, and so on, and that he used to want to take over the world but now he's very rich and content to laze around on pillows.But, as we hear his story, we see in some panels that he's STILL trying to take over the world! (cute manaical laughter, bwahahaha!) This is a fun evil-overlord story with a twist, and I loved the artwork. It's as if Blofeld's cat turned out to be the villain all along! Has language and situations not appropriate for below high school. Great action scenes and spy-stuff.
