All the Greatness in You is a children’s book focusing on what makes children intrinsically great and their potential. The audio version is read by the author, and I found it fun and engaging. She has such a soothing voice, I can see 4-6 year olds really enjoying the audio version. The book rhymes, which adds to she linguistic beauty of it.

My introduction to ALL THE GREATNESS IN YOU, was as an audiobook which was read by the author, Tameka Fryer Brown. It left me with all kinds of good feelings. The audiobook started with a wonderful arrangement of music. As I was listening, I imagined a family or class immediately being drawn into the story, as the music itself was engaging.

In the story a mother is heard sharing positive complements directed towards her son and she followed up with specific situations. Hearing those specific situations made an impression on me. They weren’t what I think of as “empty complements” and I thought…Wow! This is the what kids need to hear - what exactly did I do to deserve this kind of feedback.

When his mother said she admired her son, she again followed up and listed what things he did to bring out her admirations. She acknowledged that he was a thinker and a wonderer…she encouraged him to to continue to think, wonder and try and in doing so it would bring him wisdom. She praised him for his resilience and how when he found things to be difficult, he didn’t give up, but instead tried again. She reminds him that with all these things that make him who he is, he can continue to rely on as he becomes his own best thing.

I love audiobooks for adult books, but found myself wishing for the pictures to enhance what the audio alone couldn’t provide. As a former teacher, I could envision pairing up the author read audiobook with the storybook to make the most of this beautifully read audiobook version of the story.

I look forward to getting my hands on the physical book to experience the book through the eyes of the illustrator.

I listened to this with my 8 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. The audio was good and it was a quick story making it an easy listen.

This sweet children's audiobook is narrated by the author, Tameka Fryer Brown, beautfully. This has a soft soundtrack laid beneath the audiobook narration that enhances the listening experience. There's soft instrumental music and sound effects like children laughing.

This all about how a younger child is growing up and praises their accomplishments. Like what a good helper they are or how resilient their spirit is. This is a love letter from a mother to their child. It's full of compliments, affirmations, and love. It is a very sweet and loving story.

I enjoyed reading this story and it is great for mothers and sons to read together and explore, encourage, and affirm the qualities that they admire and find special in each other.

I appreciated Tameka Fryer Brown's narration as well as the sounds in the background. The illustration by Alleana Harris on the cover is beautiful, so I would probably buy this for someone as a picture book rather than an audiobook. This is such a sweet book with a great meaning behind it. I absolutely loved listening to the narrator read the story as well! I will be buying this book for my classroom to read to my students.

A cute and at times heartwarming story from a mother to her son. It felt like I was eavesdropping on their conversation. This is a short, 3 minute, book. The author is the narrator and does a nice job.

I think this would make a nice gift.

As a father of a two-year-old son, I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. It offers uplifting affirmations and messages of encouragement and kindness. The accompanying music and background sounds truly enhance the storytelling experience. I think many who listen will find the following words especially touching: “You are my best thing. A gift and a blessing I’ll cherish forever.”

"All the Greatness in You" by Tameka Fryer Brown is a children's picture book that is an inspirational message from a mother to her child. It tells the child how far they have come and reminds them that they have resilience and can bounce back when things go wrong.

I listened to the audiobook version several times. It is read effectively by the author. There is a rhyme to the phrasing. There are also background audio sounds that support the story, like the sound of running water when mentioning doing dishes, as well as a tune. This supplementary audio helped, but the audio still loses something without the pictures.

One of my favorite lines:
"You are my best thing, a gift and a blessing!"

I loved this book! A perfect audio book to play with the kids while driving. I played it for my son and I think he liked it. I love the positive powerful message this book encourages. A great read/listen!

All the Greatness in You is an inspiring children's book that is an excellent reminder to children of all the reasons they are special. The audiobook version is well read and perfect for a quick audio reminder for children that could be listened to many times when encouragement is needed. I listened to this book with my five year old, who really enjoyed it.

Phenomenal! It's basically a book of positive affirmations. Would be a great one to read first thing in the morning, or before bed, just reminding our kiddos of how great they are.

Beautiful affirmation book for a child from their parent at any age. This audio book could be used even to calm and give strength when challenged. Narrator’s voice is soothing. Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy of this audiobook.

The book was beautifully written. The author made careful word choices that were very impactful. Overall, the book was well written and I did really enjoy it.
