However, his investigation into the fire leads him to spend time with Sarah and Mickey. Despite her reservations about Marsh, rooted in her past and her son’s well-being, Sarah can’t deny their growing connection.
This sweet romance blends relatable characters, meddling matchmakers, and a heartfelt story, keeping readers entertained until the final page.
This is part of a series, and I have not read any of the prior books. However, this did work as a standalone, but I am sure readers would have a greater appreciation for the storyline if they read the books in order. Characters were well developed and realistic. I was surprised to find a bit of a mystery, which I appreciated. I really enjoyed Sadie, who was a truly enjoyable addition to the story.
