A wild story with an unexpected and thrilling ending! I was instantly captivated by this narrative, and as you read it, you begin to notice inconsistencies and start trying to unravel the mystery, just like the detective.

See what happens when a good man who deserves more decides to take it. Etcheverry maintains a breakneck pace from the first page through the last sentence, leaving the reader speechless and satisfied.
Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, plenty of juicy secrets and a few twists and turns. The story was interesting! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

3.5 stars that I'm rounding up because in a world where everyone and their brother seems to be writing thrillers, this was a unique and interesting premise. I inhaled it one day, trying to figure it all out. And while I found it rather easy to see where this was going, I am not ashamed to say that I truly felt badly for Ben. Even though he did a bad, bad thing, he thought he was helping. Yet another man blinded by the guiles of a woman who is more than happy to use that to her advantage.

The Burner Husband is a unique tale that follows Ben Nelson, a talented builder navigating the complexities of post-divorce life while orchestrating a daring plan to help Vika Solovenko escape her troubled marriage. The author masterfully maintains a relentless pace throughout the novel, keeping readers engaged from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it because the intense plot twists and the morally ambiguous characters kept me hooked, making it impossible to put down until the very last page.

I liked this book! like the synopsis states, it left me speechless. It had a lot going on, it made me think a lot, and it did have twists in here that I was not expecting. There was a lot of dark parts, so that was entertaining, but I can see it is not for everyone. Over all I enjoyed the writing style and the fast pace of this book!

This was a really well written novel, it had that feel that I was hoping for from the description and enjoyed getting to go on this journey. The characters worked well overall and I enjoyed going on this journey with them. John Etcheverry has a strong writing style and can’t wait for more.
