Transforming the Legacy is an in depth manual on how to heal ancestral traumas that embed into and encode the subtle bodies of an individual.
If you have heard of epigenetics, this book falls within that realm. It explains how ancestral trauma and patterns from past lives can store themselves inside the energetic structure of the body and soul. The author goes into a lot of depth and detail to explain the subtle body anatomy, unpacking the functions of the chakras, meridians, nadis, auras, and energy pathways of the human body. I have never read a book that describes and explains the energetic body to the extent Cyndi Dale does. This was helpful but also a little confusing at times given the complexity of the system. I found the exercises on how to clear ancestral patterns not very helpful as this is a huge undertaking that should be done with a professional, considering the risks posed with unlocking unconscious energy and memories. There is more emphasis on how the body stories ancestral history than why the body chooses to do this, so perhaps in a future book this could be explored further.
Anyone interested in epigenetics, past lives, and ancestral healing should definitely read Transforming the Legacy by Cyndi Dale. It has an encyclopedic breadth of knowledge that will offer many insightful tools and teachings about inherited energy.

This was a highly readable and interesting book on understanding your body's energy. Is it based on science? I have no idea. There are scientific
principles discussed, and they seemed to make sense. There's a lot of material about chakras, which I personally do not find credible. Overall this book gave me some things to think about and ponder.
