I was so excited for the premise of this book, since I still enjoy rewatching episodes of The Office. This was a fun and short Christmas Day read (picture book-length). As some other reviews have noted, the meter for the poem was inconsistent, which made reading a little awkward. I liked the cute illustrations, but not all of the characters seemed to match their real-life counterparts. I would have loved to see what artist Marisa Livingston would have done with the characters. The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin would have been perfect with just a little more attention to detail.
Cute story for fans of The Office, but I also really liked the artwork. This one is very short, and I'm curious to see what the physical copy looks like.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
This was such a cute Christmas story! I loved seeing the beloved characters in a new way. The writing was strong and the illustrations complemented the story so well.

Thank you NetGalley for this advance copy of The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin! I requested this because I am a fan of The Office, and thought this would be a fun Christmas gift for my nephew. I’m so glad I did, because I purchased it for him right away! It was a hit with his parents. They loved that it is written by Brian Baumgartner. It is such a fun read, and the illustration is stellar. 10/10!

We are massive fans of the Office. I love both versions while Jerrid loves the US one.
I love Kevin's naivety as it gave this book its extra magic. Plus I heard each character's voice when I read this one.
Love love love this!!!!!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This was so fun. Nostalgic or fans of the show, but be warned as it is short. Perfect for Christmas Eve. I love the Brian co wrote it.
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through Dunder Mifflin, not an accountant was stirring, not a mouse was a-clickin'.
Only Kevin is awake through this strange Santa's visit. From a tree decorated with beets, to the garbage left for Toby, you may be able to guess who's playing the jolly visitor and his loyal elf. This is a cute parody, and a treat for fans of The Office. The illustrations are reminiscent of Ralph Steadman's frenetic works, so I enjoyed 'em.
And, that's what she said.
The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin is adorable, funny, and filled with details from the show that any fan of The Office would appreciate. Stanley has his crossword puzzles, Kevin dreams of chili, and Santa brings the perfect gifts for each employee, giving careful nods to the series. It matches the original story in the way it rhymes and even includes a heartfelt moment with Michael Scott. The illustrations are also well done. This would be a great gift for fans of the TV series.
The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin is an illustrated Christmas story from the members of The Office. It's a fun and funny story Christmas story with great illustrations.
This is such a fun quick Christmas read. It's such a great gift to get for the office fan in your life! I HIGHLY recommend it. It references a lot of big moments in the show. If you've watched you'll definitely understand all the references. Still fun even if you're not a fan but probably won't think much of it. Overall a fun read, I can see myself picking up every year.
*Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this early copy in exchange for my honest opinion.*
I got this book for free, in exchange for my honest opinion via NetGalley.
If you're a fan of "The Office," you're going to love this book. It puts a festive twist on the classic story "The Night Before Christmas." It's a hilarious and heartwarming read that seamlessly blends the chaotic charm of Dunder Mifflin with the nostalgia of a Christmas classic, that will bring you laughs and Christmas cheer.
The story is full of references to the characters and inside jokes from the show. The book nails the characteristics from Dwight to Michael, making the story feel like an episode come to life.
As I've said, this is perfect for a fan of the show, and is a unique story that will deliver loads of laughs. It's a must have for any Office fan and a great addition to your holiday collection.
Thank you, NetGalley and Brian Baumgartner for allowing me to review! As always, my review is my own opinion and thoughts. This review will be shared to my Instagram @what_emm_reads shortly.
The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin by Brian Baumgartner; Ben Silverman was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. If you are a fan of the American version of the television show The Office, or if you buy gifts for someone who is, keep reading. One of the stars of the show (Kevin (Brian Baumgartner), re-wrote the classic Twas the Night Before Christmas poem and put a "The Office" spin on it, incorporating characters and their antics. The book is not very long and a hardcover version could become a Christmas classic, along with the original.
Cutest book ever! You can actually picture this story playing out. Loved that they didn't change the true characteristics of each person.
What a fun Christmas book for every Office fan! The illustrations were spot on and it was a great story! The fact that it was written by "Kevin" makes it even more special.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the chance to read and review this book. All opinions are mine, and freely given.
If you are a fan of the show THE OFFICE, you’ll love this story! I love how all of my favorite characters were mentioned and thought it was well written!
Laugh out loud funny, a hilarious rendition of The Night Before Christmas using the Dunder Miflin characters. I giggled through the whole thing!
Thank you Netgalley and Mariner Books for the ARC!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this arc.
This book is perfect for any office fan. The artwork is spectacular. The familiar Christmas story has a fun Office twist but is still a book that can be enjoyed by both children and adults!
For any fan of The Office this is a cute retelling of the classic Christmas story. I loved the illustrations.
Poor Toby! A great gift idea for that Office fan who already has a worlds best boss mug. Cute rhymes that kept the rhythm of the original poem.
