This was a super helpful guide to get started with sharing reviews, recommendations, and other fun commentary on socials! I think there is so much critical information here that helps to get started AND helps you to continue on your social media journey.

I greatly appreciate how many social etiquette things are called out in this guide. I feel like many folks are still learning these things, because these online spaces have their own rules for etiquette that often diverge from real-life etiquette!

I also love that this book offers a lot of options for content ideas, posting consistently, and building/supporting the community you build! As a "baby bookstagrammer" who doesn't post too often, I know my account won't grow exponentially. However, I still want to go a good job when I do have the ability and time to post! I really enjoy the small community I've built so far, and this book has really helped me to do that!

This handbook is a great guide for new NetGalley users like myself. Although I primarily use Instagram, with an occasional post on Goodreads or Substack, I appreciate the wide variety of platforms the handbook advises on. If I ever expand my online presence, I'll refer back to the do's and don'ts for other socials.

I looked at this handbook purely out of curiosity, and it seems like it'd be super helpful to someone interested in expanding their reach and wanting to know their options, do's and don'ts.......but social media's still getting a big ol' nope from me. Just reading about the BASICS of trying to juggle and conform to the different platforms exhausted me.

This handbook is a thorough guide to creating and maintaining a book-related social media presence. As someone who has considered starting a Bookstagram account for years, but for now just posts reviews on Goodreads and Storygraph, I found it to be so helpful. It included some great tips for writing reviews based on the platform and also made it seem less intimidating to get started. I will definitely be saving this one and using it in the future!

I have said it before, and I will say it again - We Are Bookish puts out some really great resources! I was a little hesitant to download these, as I've had a NetGalley account in the past, and wasn't sure if I could learn much from them. I was happy to be proven wrong! They have tons of tips - some that I probably wouldn't have thought of on my own - which sparked some new ideas for me, and I'm grateful for that. If you're on the fence like I was, definitely take the plunge!
