I am planning on changing things up a little next year as the social side of my book blog kinda got left behind this year and I didn't concentrate on growing it at all. Some of the links were really useful too as I had missed the 13 review formats post. It has easy 1 page guides for each platform too.
Some things that surprised me, don't tag authors in anything but 5 star reviews. I usually tag them for 4/5 stars but not if lower.
Reviewing is hard and to appeal to the social media audience is harder. NetGalley's guide makes it so much easier with tips and tricks for things like Canva and how to write for a specific audience.
Thank you to NetGalley for the tips!
This is an extremely handy little book - I help with the social media for my library so this was a very useful tool for how to talk about books and get a wider reach. I'm pretty social media literate, so this was used as a good reminder.
Thank you for this handbook, this is very helpful and really appreciated. Helpful for someone starting out a book account!
Another very good one and another very berry cute design. Social media is not easy to predict or understand, I need all the tips I can get!
This is a very handy handbook if you want to start with a bookaccount. You can find lots of tips to create you account and how to interact on it.
If you already have an account, it is still informing to read. Although I didn't learn a lot of it. I knew most of the information, but it is a useful repetition.
This was extremely helpful! I'm trying to grow my social media platforms and this handbook gave me some much needed advice and I'm looking forward to implementing all of it soon! I also really loved the examples provided so that I could get a clear picture of what was being described! Thank you NetGalley for putting this handbook together!
Nice book Netgally, thank you for the information. It’s helpful for reviewers. I’ll make sure to keep it for future reference.
As a book reviewer who not only reviews through here but also on my instagram, this is an excellent tool! It is a fantastic social media guide for professional and amateur book reviewers alike and for those of us who always want to improve the way we do things! I love how this guide has specific advice for each platform. A goldmine for beginners and some great reminders/new advice for those of us who have been doing this awhile! Thank you, We Are Bookish!
A nice little book to get you started with various social media sites. I like that, while they have larger tutorials, they keep it short and sweet with links to more information if you're interested. Definitely a book to check out if you're just getting started with reviewing books and want to spread your social media and internet presence. It's also good for those who might already have one social media review going and want to branch out to different types. Lots of good info about cross posting.
A short guide with beautiful graphics that's organized nicely and easy to go through! NetGalley's Social Media Handbook is packed with very useful information that will help any person reading books and sharing their opinions about them online. It covers all the different social media platforms that one could use to share their reviews and has a plethora of great tricks and tips for novices and experienced reviewers alike.
I loved this.
It's full of hints and tips and I can't wait to start utilising some of them.
Thank you Netgalley for this.
This was a super helpful resource to get started reviewing books and creating content for social media.
Super easy to follow format and we'll laid out step by step guide

This was so cool! Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this!! This is so handy and useful! I will definitely be using this often!
This is a helpful companion for anyone interested in starting to review (or already reviewing) on NetGalley. The handbook contains tips and tricks for getting more eyes on your reviews.
Great tips for handling social media accounts. It makes me want to start a bookstagram or booktok account!
What a wonderful resource for bookish content creators. Even though I have an instagram account for a while I still picked up lots of tips to make my account more accessible and to help it reach a wider audience.
This is a very helpful book.
I had joined NetGalley before I really got into reviewing and posting reviews on Goodreads and 'Bookstagram' so it was a nice reminder and prompt for ideas or ways to do things.
As someone who is still relatively new to social media as a book reviewer (I've been on for two years), I think this is a valuable resource to have. There are things in this guide that I learned by observing for about two months before diving into the world of Bookstagram. I wish I'd have this back then!
