Helpful, some of the stuff I was already aware of, but it had a good range of suggestions across a range of social media.

On a silly note, I had been unsure about pictures of books with black and white covers because I read on an e reader, and I usually do cover shots, but I have confirmation that it's fine to add the colour cover in an editing studio! so NetGalley have confirmed this isn't cheating!

This was a really great resource for online book review best practices. It’s full of helpful tips that will be super useful and was presented in a concise and easy to understand way. I also really liked all of the external resources that were linked.

I absolutely love this handbook. It gives some great tips on each platform as well as articles to expand the tips. I can't wait to put this to practice!

What I appreciated most about the book was the admonition that you don’t have to be everywhere all the time; that you can be very selective about which social media you participate in. I also liked the very specific tips for dealing with the different media. Overall, this is a very helpful book.

This is a brilliant resource. I have reviewed a lot of books but although I am familiar with X and Goodreads I haven't ventured any further afield. This little handbook might just give me the push I need. Definitely not something to read only once. It is an excellent and friendly accessory for all NetGalley reviewers.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The book being split up into the different forms of social media made it more practically applicable since I don’t do TikTok or my face in videos so those types of tips aren’t very necessary for me and the reviewing across platforms section was great so I can consider crossposting to Threads. The strategies such as content planning and promoting reviews were helpful for me despite the fact I’ve been a Bookstagrammer for a few years. Finally, I loved that accessibility was considered in that there was a thinking about accessibility section.
