Very helpful! Love that this includes ways to improve your reach and content. I found the hashtag vs tagging section particularly helpful.
This is a great social media primer, especially for someone like me who is still an "amateur" NetGalley reviewer and also a "geriatric millennial" who stopped learning new platforms after Instagram. I wish I had some of this advice when I first starting out, but I will incorporate what I can now. Thank you NetGalley for compiling this.
Interesting read will be good to refer back to.
Great for those just beginning their Netgalley journey giving some fantastic hints, tips and ideas on how to set your socials up such as Instagram, a blog or tik tok.
I could have done with all these hints, tips and guidelines in guide books like this one and others when I was first starting up. I certainly wouldn't have requested so many books at once but then when I started off there was no read & reviewed %
It's a shame you can't start afresh or at least wipe some backlog out somehow for those like myself who were kind of blundering through the process alone.
So yes this book and other similar ones are a fantastic idea, even if some of that fabulous advice is too late for me!
I think this us a guide I would refer back to a well.
Lots of helpfull tips, for both Bookstagram newbies and Bookstagrammers who have been around for a while. I will definitely try to implement some of them.
Another good resource available to anyone who wishes to get started as a book advocate. This one specifically focuses on social media.

This is such a useful handbook! 35 pages of tips for a variety of platforms which I wish I had had when I first started my bookstagram journey. I love that this provides some detailed tips for amateur and professional reviewers as well as general social media etiquette within our community that so many people seem to forget
I liked the practical aspects of this guideline social media handbook. It gave a good overview of book-content on social media and some nice tips like using different platforms. I liked the concrete examples for reviews, Canva or posts on social media the most.
This is a terrific guide with dos and donts for everything from writing good reviews to platforms to share on and tips for using Canva. I will definitely be referencing back to it often!
I really like these books/booklets produced by NetGalley. The design is fab and something like this is really useful for both reviewers old and new.
This is a pretty basic guide to using social media to promote your book reviews. If you know anything about social media, there probably won’t be very much here that is new to you. That said, some of the content may serve as a useful reminder for existing social media users, and this short ebook could be useful for people just getting started.
This is the resource I've been wishing I had, and I'm glad it's available through NetGalley. People who want to learn more about reviewing books can learn the basics for every platform. I've been wanting to check out more ways to share, and this will help.
This is a very hand tool for someone who is new to reviewing on NetGalley and social media. I appreciated the explanations of nuances on different platforms, and will be referencing this resource in the future.
A good guide to the various social channels and how to best use them. Thanks for providing this for us!
The guide provided useful information, but it seems to be designed specifically for complete novices to social media. It was quite beneficial. I am eagerly anticipating more great advice like this. The tips were authentic and meticulously crafted with the needs of different types of reviewers, bloggers, or authors in mind, which was very useful!
This would be perfect for anyone who is new to social media as it's a great guide for how to get started with a page and some guidelines and advice to follow. I wish I had this when I was just starting out! It's a helpful resource that I'm happy to have to refer to in future for any tips if I'm struggling with any aspect of social media posting.
This has been a great guide to follow for looking how to improve my social media in connection with books and reading.

This is a guide I wish I had had five years ago when I started this book reviewing journey. It is amazing how many things you can learn from doing this. I had no idea about shadow bans until I started or that certain tags are banned. This guide is extremely helpful.
