This is a really helpful guide. It has lots of tips for how to navigate sharing reviews on social media.
I love that it also covered audiobooks as this is something I struggle with. And the tips for canva were helpful as well. Thank you for putting this together.

Nothing revolutionary but it did have some good tips, and I actually did learn a couple of things. I’m not sure how/why but I did not realize that NetGalley had book specific hashtags from the publishers above the description, like I’ve literally never noticed that somehow.

REally appreciated the advice--especially the accessibility components of the social media handbook. As a result, I've developed a quick checklist in my notes app to quickly refer to when I post reviews. Thanks!

A concise jumping off point. Pretty short but it has links to more detailed info depending on your interests. It is formatted beautifully and easy to page through. Best suited for individuals who are looking to post book reviews, not too applicable for professional use.

Overall, I thought that this book was somewhat helpful, but not really for the platforms that I'm on. I know that Bluesky and Storygraph are a bit newer, so I"m sure that they weren't thinking about those (since all the other platforms are much more popular and well-known), but it does make me wonder how much the author is invested in supporting corporate style platforms. I also wasn't super swayed by the information presented - I don't really care much to follow the advice because it's focused heavily on trying to get intrigue from the audience and my intention with writing book reviews is more for myself than for other people's approval and excitement. If I wanted to be an influencer, I think this book would have been more helpful.

This succinct (35 pages) and well-organized compendium of social media tips and strategies is created to assist book reviewers in creating, illustrating, sharing, and promoting their opinions. Sections on each of the primary social media platforms and channels give a description of its usage, audience, engagement tactics, plus demonstrations (with screenshots) of how to open each type of account. Hashtag protocols and helpful checklists are also provided. Another valuable section offers advice on writing book reviews. Canva is the recommended method for illustrating reviews and designing appealing, attention-grabbing book aesthetics, for print, digital, and audiobooks.
