The Social Media Handbook was very helpful! I picked up quite a few tips and tricks to help post on my Instagram and my other socials!

I always love when NetGalley releases useful info guides to assist early book reviewers succeed and I love that this one is focused on social media which is where most of us hang our hat with bookish content and getting publishers attention for advanced copies! I’ve been on bookstagram/NetGalley reviewing advance books for about 3 years and booktok for about 2 years now, so I already knew a lot of the information in this guide but there was still a lot of helpful tips (and reminders) in there for the more seasoned reviewers!

I also just need to say that this guide is incredibly visually appealing. There are some great graphic designers at NetGalley!!!

A very useful guide for placing reviews on social media, increasing views and producing interesting content., I found this booklet very helpful. I recommend it.

I'm unsure if this needs a review or is even affecting my Feedback Ratio, but it was indeed helpful. A lot of the information was knowledge I had already gained through friends and social media posts regarding NetGalley. I'm not really a social media human regardless, so it's something to think about and I'm happy to have a resource to turn to if I do enter into the world of BookTok or Bookstagram. There's always room to grow and I appreciate the easy-to-read handbook NetGalley created just for this.

What a brilliant book this is! I really like the ease and the relevance to my needs. I'm learning about tips and tricks along the way. I like the different sections for each social media platform. Very relevant to what I want to do at the minute with my reviews. The clear illustrations help when it comes to describing the different ways you can showcase your reviews to certain platforms.

This has a lot of great advice that I will come back to and look back on once I am back on bookstagram!

As someone who is currently reviewing on Goodreads but looking at expanding to Instagram (bookstagram) this document was VERY useful and had all the information a person would need to begin their journey on multiple social media platforms! It helped me to create a brain storm of ideas and a lot of do's and dont's to help me along my journey.

I found this handbook to be very informative and resourceful. The handbook provides exactly the kind of information and guidelines for anyone new to becoming a book influencer. Plus, I find it to be a good review source for anyone who is already an influencer allowing them to refresh on the basics of various social media reviewing.

I found there to be many positives to this handbook. The layout is easy to read and each section makes it easy to focus on a specific topic. The links included on the pages are useful seeing as there could be areas influencers need more guidance which is not covered in the handbook. Also, I found the information on scheduling to be very informative and helpful. Influencers are often posting for many different sites, authors and other agencies. Finding a schedule that works is not always easy. The handbook offers an example of setting up a schedule and keeping track of information. This is a good aspect to have included in the handbook for a new influencer.

I would have liked to see some additional information on videos. For a beginner, trying to approach the creating of videos and how to make them the most appealing can be very difficult and intimidating.

Such a helpful handbook on using social media for book reviews! It's not too long, but it has useful tips and information about the main social media platforms that you're likely to use. It's a great starting point for anyone looking to branch out into social media in the bookish community.

Another extremely useful booklet by Netgalley. Some of the material is fairly well known and there's likely to be some minor qualms with points raised but overall it is a useful and essential reading especially for those starting out.

As an avid reader relatively new to the public reviewer realm, I appreciate having concise expectations set out. I expect I'll refer back to it from time-to-time as I navigate the set up. Thanks for making it instantly available in a concise format that I didn't have to hunt for!

While very short (36 pages or so), this handbook gives a lot of very good advice for book reviewers as regards dealing with social media.

There are sections with info on getting started with do’s and don’ts, and pages that focus on Bookstagram, BookTok, BookTube and Book Blogging. There are also tips on writing book reviews and editing those reviews for different social platforms. There are also some handy tips on photos for social posts and advice on how to make your posts more accessible.

While I would have really loved a bit more in-depth info on the platforms I’m interested in, this was a good overview.
