The social media handbook is certainly helpful, especially as I am just starting out (and I’m not particularly tech savvy). I really appreciated how easy this guide makes it to find helpful resources, and I really liked that it emphasized inclusion.

Very informative and easily digestible. A great introduction on options with a lot of great reminders. Gives someone new a place to start, and someone more established ideas on how to grow or expand their presence.

Great information in a clean, concise, organized manner. Tips for all the major social media platforms, so something for everyone, even if you don't use all of them.

Thank you for letting me know about other avenues for reviews as I had only known about Goodreads thusfar.

This was such a great book for learning about using social media to review books. I have been reviewing books for a while, but this book was well-organized and had fantastic tips, as well as links to other articles to help increase your skills. If you like sharing books on social media, you need to get this book.

This was a short but helpful, aesthetically designed book about using social media for book reviews and bookish content. I think it's a great starting point for those that haven't created their social channels yet. I really appreciated the inclusion of additional links that elaborate on certain topics like accessibility and photo tips.

This is a helpful guide especially for beginners. I’m not a beginner but it helped me a lot.
I do recommend .

This little guidebook was very helpful and informative? I will definitely be using this information going forward, my social media will thank me for it!

This guide was incredibly helpful and provided information on creating content on various social media platforms. There were a lot of helpful tips—like for instance, crossposting TikTok videos to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. It was easy to read with lots of pictures and aesthetically pleasing charts. After reading this guide, I’m feeling way more confident about creating book content!

It was a thorough and neat booklet for a bookworm like me who plans to have more digital footprints in the bookaholic world. I learned quite many things from it to be able to handle social media.
My only complaint was that there were a lot of texts and sometimes it made me feel overwhelmed. It'd be nice if there were fewer texts/pages.

Netgalley's Social Media Handbook is a fantastic booklet that somehow manages to be concise yet jam-packed with information.
It breaks down each of the main social media platforms, blogging, and review sites such as Netgalley and Storygraph, providing general information, what the book community is referred to (e.g. Booktok) and content strategies. It also has a whole section dedicated to writing reviews and how to adapt them across platforms.
The booklet is really easy to read and navigate through and included links to other useful resources. They even included a section on using Canva and making your content accessible.
If you're someone who makes (or is thinking of making) book content, I'd definitely recommend checking this out!

Really nice and easy introduction to doing social media with book content. This handbook gives a good starting point with a lot of very good resources to start social media, which can seem overwhelming, and with a realistic starting point (start small and expand if necessary) while also giving a lot of good fundamental rules that makes it easier to join in social interactions without overthinking.

as someone trying to grow my online presence in the book world, this was a great read and a great help! i recommend it to any reviewer or person doing the same. the tips for each specific platform was very helpful. thank you!

This was a helpful and easy to understand guide about how to boost my bookish accounts! I will continue to reference information in it's content when I have down time to better improve my personal accounts. I hope in doing these tips I will have a higher chance of receiving arcs from big publishers despite the fact that I am a smaller account!

Love the various handbooks and journals! This is a great handbook to give me ideas about how to post about book reviews. Thanks, NetGalley!

Amazing book! I love all the tips and tricks that it provides. I've always been curious about social media and attempting to have a platform over there and this book helps me to just that!

This was a lovely little handbook which I really enjoyed. Even with being a seasoned bookstagrammer I learnt a couple of new things I didn't know before and so I am really pleased I downloaded and read this handbook. I do wish this had been around when I first started my bookstagram account as it is a perfect "how to" guide for newbies and even also covers other social media such as blogs, YouTube and TikTok in a clear and concise fashion. This is perfect for a bookstagram novice as well as a seasoned bookstragrammer like myself. 5 stars for some great tips!

Great resource for anyone looking at social media and creating an account to advocate for books and bookish things!

THis is a great update to the toolkit. It is laid out really well and has awesome tips for those just getting started, and those looking to get their accounts moving or re-established.

Really appreciated some of the tips in here and look forward to implementing them! There were a few things that I hadn't thought about and I am glad that I read this before really diving into creating a "Bookish" presence online.
