I loved reading this book. It had some useful insights for me as a bookstagrammer. Will be implementing the ideas provided in the book. Thanks netgalley for the copy.
Such a great tool for all of us! I I have so many new ideas now that I can’t wait try. I especially liked all the tips about how to post about audiobooks 🩷
I knew most of these tips for the platforms I utilize, but it's a great guide to plan for using an additional platform!
This Social Media Handbook is a great jumping off point for anyone wanting to start a bookish social media platform. It contains all the information you need to figure out the different platforms and how to create engaging posts. I wish this handbook had been available when I started out a year ago.
I thought this was an extremely valuable resource, even though I've been on Netgalley and Bookstagram for several years! I will definitely be referencing this in the future!
As someone who is VERY new to regularly posting to social media, this handbook was very informative. The information is presented in an easy-to-follow layout, with graphics that keep you interested while also showcasing the softwares used to create them. I appreciate how external links to more information on certain topics are embedded in the handbook as well. Overall, this is a very useful tool for anyone looking to start their social media journey, and I think even seasoned influencers could learn from this. Thank you NetGalley for this handbook!
This was a brilliant overview of how to use social media to promote your book reviews. Working in social media marketing, I already have a good grounding in this, but I have been thinking about reinvigorating my abandoned blog and socials, so this was an excellent guide with some tips I wouldn't have thought about.
Thank you to Netgalley and We Are Bookish for creating it!
Really helpful when learning how to post review on social media. I especially liked all the tips including what not to do and I didn't even notice that on the book page on NetGalley the publishers post what hashtags they will be using for the book release so we can use them too which is very nice to know.
A must read for beginners and even for people who have been doing this for a long time to re-familiarize yourself with everything 😊

One of the strengths of this book is its clear and concise writing style, making it easy to digest even for those who may not be tech-savvy. The authors break down complex topics into simple, actionable steps, ensuring that readers can easily implement the advice provided.
Thanks for the guide!
A useful tool, with great tips and techniques. A good guide for those starting out and for those with some experience.
As someone who often struggles with social media and knowing what to post, I find NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook incredibly informative and helpful. I especially appreciated the hyperlinks that direct readers to additional resources, making exploring topics easier.
I can see myself revisiting this handbook regularly as a refresher. I highly recommend it to anyone starting their social media journey or looking to improve their online presence.
Thank you to NetGalley, and We Are Bookish for providing such a valuable resource for the community!
This was a great handbook on using the different types of social media. I liked how it split information out depending on the type of social media you are using. I liked the inclusion of links to additional articles, and in particular found the one about taking photos very useful. I could have used more information on how to create images in canva. I've had a play with this and can't really work it out so a link to an article explaining the 101 of canva in relation to social media book review images would be very useful.
This is a handle little guide for social media book reviewers. As someone who is wanting to start reviewing my reads online, this will become very useful.
Thanks NetGalley!
A nice easily accessible guide to all things bookish social media. While a lot of the information is kind of obvious or second nature for those who have used these platforms for personal accounts and such, it still offers some great tips for how to more book-ify your account. It also covers a great array of social media platforms.
I love this handbook. It's got a lot of useful information for creating a Bookstagram, BookTok, or BookTube account. It also talks about blogging and how to write reviews. I loved that it included photo ideas which I thought was very useful especially since I've been on Bookstagram for a while now. This gave me fresh new ideas to help with my page. Thanks We Are Bookish and NetGalley for a copy.
I liked some of the suggestions for how to use content across platforms, and I thought it had some really good ideas for how to create pictures of audiobooks. It had some helpful information that I will definitely incorporate into my reviews on social media.
Are you a person who likes to write about what you read? Are you hoping that what you write will be seen? Are you unsure about how to go about this? If you answer yes to any of these questions, I recommend taking a look at this short (35 or so pages) and helpful resource.
If I had had this book before starting my blog, I might have done a few things differently. So, if you are just beginning start here. If you are experienced, find a few tips. All in all, this content was quite helpful.
Many thanks to NetGalley for this title. All opinions are my own.

We keep learning thanks to NetGalley! Keep the info coming, we're all a little better for it. Thank you NG!
I love the way that NetGalley is constantly making guides and other resources for the people who use them!
This is a great resource. It is easy to read, colorful and has lots of pictures and images that people can follow along with. The tips are valid and something that everyone could use and it would enhance your online presence and also even help to get more followers and more interest in social media pages. However, I think that most people would not pick this up to read it. If it was posted someplace for people to download then you might see more usage but overall I think that most people feel they know enough about social media and would not ourchase.
