The moment I started reading The Odd Couple I was absolutely hooked! I loved the way Ford and Skye interacted, they both really intrigued me. One of my favorite parts was them at the shelter and Ford going to visit Maybelline and her reaction to hearing him talking before she saw him really made me laugh! I think I fell in love with that dog right then and there. Lori Foster has once again wrote such a wonderful and heartfelt story that truly made my day reading it. The other story by Maisey Yates was the first one I've ever read by her and I don't believe it will be the last, it captured and kept my attention throughout the whole story.

THE ODD COUPLE
Ford Caruso, a pharmaceutical representative, can’t help but be captivated by his neighbor Skye Fairchild’s stunning beauty. Despite having close friends, Ford yearns for a special someone in his life. When he agrees to a favor for the charming and gorgeous Skye, an undeniable spark ignites between them. As their relationship blossoms, I found myself deeply rooting for both Skye and Ford. Additionally, the two dogs they both chose added a touch of warmth and heart to the story.
FORCE OF NATURE
Remington Lane, a broken man, struggles to trust love. He adores Lydia Clay’s family, who rescued him. But Lydia Clay herself? Can he envision a future with her? On the other hand, Lydia Clay is a compassionate soul, and her love for animals is truly commendable. Seeking love of her own, she can’t help but wonder if Remington Lane could be the one. This novella skillfully weaves a blend of seriousness and steaminess, making it an excellent read.
Many thanks to Kensington and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

The Odd Couple-Lori Foster
Ford and Skye made for a cute couple once…they got on the same page of their attraction! Maybelline, Ford’s adopted fur baby, was the star of the show for me.
Her absolute sweetness touched the heartstrings. I loved this quick read of close friends/made family, as well as the sweetness and magic furry friends can bring to the family!
Force of Nature—Maiden Yates
Remy and Lydia’s story was a sweet mix of smexy longing, damaged hearts, emotional discovery, and all the fur baby joy you can shake a stick at!
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book from the author and Netgalley/Kensington Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Two of Us, are two stories, about the dogs that have been rescued and the humans they brought together. The emotions, the feelings, and the connections that are made, will show the low points and the high points in their lives. But, when you find those special someone's, they can turn your life around and show you all the possibilities.
I received an ARC from Kensington through NetGalley.

Double the fun and double the feels! Both stories involve rescue dogs, and highlight the way they can change a person’s attitude and outlook. They can even help facilitate romance! I loved all the dogs Maybelline and Tank, who helped bring Ford and Skye together! And Hank did his part in bringing together Lydia and Remy. Two heartwarming tales featuring delightful dogs!

Adorable. Both stories revolved around rescue pets and owners that tend to share similar pasts. Both pets and owners feel a sense of loss and yearning. Everyone is always looking for their forever home. The world needs more stories like these.

Now the Two of Us by Lori Foster and Maisey Yates is a heartfelt and emotionally rich collection that beautifully showcases the distinct talents of two beloved authors. Having enjoyed their stories individually, I was thrilled to dive into this collaboration—and it did not disappoint.
Both stories bring a unique voice and style, offering a perfect blend of romance, depth, and charm. Lori Foster’s story is full of her signature warmth and humor, with characters that feel so real you can’t help but fall in love with them. Her ability to craft strong, relatable protagonists and sprinkle in a touch of suspense kept me eagerly turning the pages.
Maisey Yates, on the other hand, delivers all the emotional intensity and small-town vibes that I adore in her books. Her knack for creating layered, flawed characters shines through, pulling me into a world where love, family, and forgiveness are intricately intertwined. The emotional journeys her characters take felt authentic and deeply satisfying.
What I loved most about Now the Two of Us is how both stories complement each other while maintaining the distinct voices of the authors. It’s like getting two heartfelt love stories in one book—each unique yet equally captivating.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Lori Foster and Maisey Yates or new to their work, this collection is a must-read. It’s a perfect blend of romance, charm, and heartfelt emotion that will leave you smiling long after you turn the last page. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance with depth and heart!

As someone who has adopted all her dogs from shelters and regularly volunteers at one, these stories resonate deeply with me. Lori Foster’s story gives us a glimpse into her MMA series, and while I was hoping for some butt kicking scenes, both stories beautifully focus on shelter dogs and the people who come to call them family.
Thank you for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion

It's a dog's life in these heartwarming stories by Lori Foster and Maisey Yates. Unlikely human and canine friends are two of a kind story filled with second chances proving home is where the heart is...
As an animal lover, I eagerly awaited the 'tails.' Snuggled under the covers while the wind whipped outside, the stories were a cheerful way to spend the afternoon. Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the early edition of #TheTwoofUs in exchange for an honest review. If you're seeking a book filled with lovable animal antics, get ready for a paw-sitively good read.

I was pleasantly surprised to find two stories. I just assumed both authors collaborated on one, but now I'm glad they didn't because I enjoyed both very different books.
The first one is The Odd Couple by Lori Foster. I adored these two! I love how open they were with each other and then of course the dogs they adopt helped make their love story that much sweeter.
And then we get the second story, Force of Nature by Maisy Yates. You can't get any sweeter than this couple. A little bit of a heartbreaking background, but a very sweet future for not only the humans, but the animals as well.
Two very sweet reads!

This book contains two sweet novellas about dogs and the humans that become their “person”.
THE ODD COUPLE by Lori Foster
Ford Caruso and Skye Fairchild have been neighbors for a few months, but aside from a few hellos , little has been said between the two of them. Breaking up with her ex , who still hasn’t gotten the memo, was a good idea except it leaves her needed a plus one for a couple of engagements . She hopes Ford or one of his friends will help by being her date . Little did either know that it would change their lives. Add a couple of rescue dogs that were a tad destructive but adorable, and you have the perfect , sweet romance.
FORCE OF NATURE by Maisey Yates
Lydia Clay’s destiny is rescuing animals and when Hank, an elderly dog needs a home, who better to be the dog’s new person than Remington Lane. It will take a lot of effort but Lydia is determined to make that happen. Especially, since the dog’s previous owner was Remington’s estranged father.
Will Remington not only find himself owned by a dog, but also enchanted by a woman that will win his heart?
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Kesington Books. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Like both authors but struggled a bit reading this one. Not sure why. Still though, would recommend on the authors.

Well, just what could be better than two stories, in one book, written by the incomparable Lori Foster and Maisey Yates. That would be two tales involving oddly matched couples with their equally odd choice of dogs. All rescues, of course I’m referring to pets but in the case of these two stories that seem to fit the main characters too.
So in THE ODD COUPLE by Lori Foster we have two neighbors that have been doing their best to send out the message that they are not interested. Ford is a confirmed bachelor who enjoys time with his good friends, some of whom have now married. Neighbor Skye is feeling some angst at the moment. It seems as if her last boyfriend hasn’t accepted the fact that their relationship is now over. She needs to send a more forceful message and somehow manages to get Ford to help her. Make believe relationships never really work out. They are truly doomed from the onset. But that doesn’t mean that Ford and Skye will succumb to each other’s wiles or does it. Enter two really cute but odd dogs and the odds of Ford and Skye seeming neutral ground seem to diminish daily.
Next up is FORCE OF NATURE which is Maisey Yates’ contribution to this book whose theme does seem to be about duos or couples, two or four legged. In FORCE OF NATURE we have Lydia who rescues and shelters dogs and some other animals as well. Lydia has taken in an old cattle dog named Hank. Hank belonged to Remington, one of Lydia’s brothers really good friends. Rem father y’s wasn’t really kind to people much less animals. Lydia was determined to bring Hank back to the ranch he had called home for so many year and that meant leaving him in the care of Remy, who it seemed was as grumpy as his old man. Remy did have a soft spot for animals, even though he raised cattle. As it turns out he also had a soft spot for Lydia, his best friend’s sister, which he has hidden quite well. Lydia’s family had become sort of a surrogate family for Remy. So of course there could never be any relationship other than, just another brother, for Lydia and Remy.
If you are looking for a heartwarming and joyous romantic comedy, look no further than THE TWO OF US. Each story includes some amazing characters that will win your heart and stay for quite a while after the covers are closed. THE TWO OF US is a nice addition to the libraries of Lori Foster and Maisey Yates fans. Each author tells their story in their own inimitable style. Catchy dialog rounds up a wonderful experience.

The Odd Couple by Lori Foster
I just loved Ford and Skye. They are so cute together. This is a happy short story. The dogs just make the book extra special. Lovely writing.
Force Of Nature by Maisey Yates
Remy and Lydia are an unusual pair. He’s taciturn and very private. She is sweet and totally committed to rescuing strays. I loved how Lydia followed her own path. She loves deeply. Remy had a terrible childhood and it’s made Jim cautious and a loner. I just loved how an abused dog brought them together. This is a sweet book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I really enjoyed both of these stories. Of course anything with pets is a five star from me. Both were quick reads but very entertaining. Sometimes this is just what you need!

Two novellas with an animal focus. Nothing like puppy love! Maisey Yates and Lori Foster. ARC from NetGalley.
