Enjoyed many of the characters and plots, but there was just too much going on for me. I did not read the first book, but it didn't feel like I was missing anything.

4 stars. No spoilers. I read the spicy version of this book. There is a closed door version with no spice.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. Having a continuing love story from a previous book and a new love story with characters from previous books was intriguing. I did not read the previous book and I was able to follow the story just fine so I do not think reading the first book is necessary for this story. However I do plan at some point to go back and read the previous book.

The focus of the book is the upcoming wedding of one couple and interwoven is a bit of a suspense aspect of a stacker adding an additional element that was fun to explore. The second couple is an "enemies to lover" trope with forced proximity included. I really like the two characters who had great chemistry and separate story. I would like to read their developing love story in a separate book as they were so fun.

Multiple barriers get in the way of the planned wedding making for an interesting ride for all the characters. The plot moved along well, the characters were fun and interesting and the ending was satisfying. The wedding taking place at Christmas time added the holiday cheer element. If you want a fun holiday read then check out this book.

The spice in this book is high and so is the drama and the holiday cheer. I loved this book far more than I expected…if you know what I mean. This is a must read.

I attempted to read this book and after reading the first one and it just wasn’t for me. I ended up not loving it which was the same for the first book. These didn’t give me that fun holiday vibe and ended up being very boring.

The book was amazing, the characters , the plotline, the writing everything was phenomenal, I loved every second of it. My favorite character is the bodyguard dude (sorry, forgot his name). The bodyguard and girl's best friend relation/ chemistry was amazing. Their bantering and the hot and cold was so damn amazing. I though the reporter guy was the stalker but when the stalker was revealed I was so shocked... like why? What? How? This book was amazing. I could not put the book down as I started reading it, I was so into the book , I just loved it...

This is a dual POV with enemies to lovers grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity tropes. It is a spicy romance book with a mystery also. This is a good book to kick off your holiday reading. Caleb and Gwen have been through a lot but their wedding is close, less than a month away on Christmas Eve. But life, their stubbornness and independence keeps getting in the way. An unexpected snowstorm strands Gwen across the country and Caleb is keeping a secret, a stalker that is threatening everything. Will they be able to trust each other and figure it out before the wedding? You also get a second love story, Gwen’s best friend Jenny falls for bodyguard Dean who is reluctant to trust the journalist after she’d previously let slip something about Caleb, bringing an enemies to lovers’ trope to the book but they find common ground as they work together to make sure the big day goes smoothly.
This book is a part of a series but there is enough information about the events that occur in the first book that you could treat it as a standalone.
For me the pacing was off in this book. I found the first half really slow and if I didn’t have to review the book I may have been a dnf. The second half of the book picks up. Overall if you are looking for a book to read during the holidays this could be the one. The sex scenes are well done and you do get two love stories in one with an added twist of a mystery.

Thank you to NetGalley and Nerdfam for the digital ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

What a great mix of holiday wedding romance and suspense. Dual POV is Gwen, the bride to be and her friend Jenny the reporter doing a story on Caleb, Gwen future husband.
Gwen has left Caleb and her family in New York to finalise their wedding arrangements intime for the bid day on Christmas Eve, she's presenting at a convention, proud to have worked on early diagnosis for colon cancer having lost her dad to this terrible decease. She is navigating her own budding career as well as being in the spotlight marrying Caleb.
Caleb shines through but I would have loved to have had more from him in his own POV within the book
Jenny has her own sizzling undercurrent with Caleb's security officer Dean. They both work hard to uncover Caleb's stalker before it gets out of hand.
This book is full of festive fun, romance, spice and suspense. A truly great Christmas read.

A quick and engaging holiday read - i loved reading more about gwenn and caleb and how they developed as a couple from the previous book but ultimately jenny and dean were my favourites

I want to preface that I didn’t realize that this book was a second book until the end author’s note. This one is strong on its own and I loved everything about it until about 75-80% of the way through. Don’t want to spoil it, but I guess the trope just isn’t for me. This story follows 2 main couples: Gwen and Caleb, the bride and groom, and also Dean and Jenny, security and best friend. Now that I realize that Gwen and Caleb’s story has their own story in another book, it makes a lot more sense the minimal relationship building as it had already been established. I did greatly appreciate the author catching the reader up on important life events in their relationship that made them more complex. The stalker/kidnapper aspect was also a twist and interesting touch. The spice is very mild and well written. Christmas is more of a date countdown than a prominent vibe in the book.

Now Dean and Jenny, I loved them. This story is more about them and they truly grow throughout this story. They have fun banter and I wouldn’t say they are truly enemies to lovers, but more love resistant to lovers. They both work through their own baggage and discover the love they deserve.

Holiday Wedding was an absolute jumble and it didn't grab me like I hoped it would. Having previously read something from this author, I was hopefully, but ultimately let down.

The dueling "storylines" and jumping back and forth were hard to follow and there were areas where the dialog was hard to follow. Gwen and Caleb, one of the couples, seemed pretty immature and they were fun to follow. Jenny and Dean were a bit easier to swallow, but still there wasn't much to compel me to care about them as a couple.

Overall, this one is a no from me, though maybe it just isn't my cup of tea.

I loved it. The perfect holiday romance. If you are looking for a quick and engaging holiday book this season, give it a shot.

Holiday Wedding follows two storylines of Gwen and Caleb and Jenny and Dean. Gwen and Caleb are madly in love and are getting married on Christmas. Things get hectic when Caleb has a stalker and Gwen starts to deal with being with a celebrity. Gwen's best friend Jenny is trying to help find the stalker with the help of Caleb's bodyguard Dean. They soon develop feelings and help each other deal with insecurities.

This book is a cute holiday romance. I found myself getting sick of Caleb and Gwen constantly talking about how much they love each other. I get it!! No need to talk about it all the time. I preferred the chapters focusing on Jenny and Dean since they were less annoying. I'm glad the author offers an open or a closed door version. I'm sure that's helpful for those who don't want to read spice.

This is the first book I’ve read by Dr. Melissa Dymond. It is a fun story that involves a mystery. It’s different than most holiday books out there especially with the dual pov of town main characters that aren’t together. So it was interesting to see the two stories together.

I’ve given this 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 because honestly I finished it within 36 hours and that is pretty much unheard of for me.

Although not a difficult book to read, I found it to be fast paced and very engaging. The characters were very likeable and I really enjoyed that the story was told from two perspectives, I think it’s nice to be able to build stronger relationships with characters by having more than one point of view.

I wasn’t expecting the ‘mystery’ element of the book, and while I wouldn’t say that it was heavy on mystery, I actually found that one of the most engaging elements. I thought it took the book from being just a straight up romance book with a few hiccups, to something where the reader started questioning along the way and kept me guessing a bit like a who-done-it almost.

The only aspect of the book which I just wasn’t sure about was perhaps the pace. I felt like, for example, the romance for Jenny appeared all of a sudden and I would say I’m more of a slow burn perhaps. But I did enjoy the relationship which Jenny is developing, it just felt like it all happened quite quickly.

But overall it was a lovely festive read and I really enjoyed it!
