An adorable holiday romance with a little spice and a story that keeps you wanting more. There are multiple point of views that somewhat the me off at first if I want fully paying attention but it be on you and have you different perspectives. Overall cute read.

I unfortunately DNF'd this book at 25%. The synopsis states that it can be read as a standalone, but I feel like I am really missing something by not having read Holiday Star. Being dropped right in a spicy scene with 2 characters I don't know was jarring and I struggled with Gwen's hesitance/resistance to the fame. Jenny apparently has quite the story to tell from the previous book... but I just don't feel like I truly understand that history based on what is written in this book. I would recommend suggesting people read the books in series.

I really wanted to finish to see if I could overcome these issues, but everytime I pick this book up I'm only able to read a page or 2 before I find myself putting it back down.

I really liked this book and getting the story from different point of views. I can’t wait for the next book Holiday Love to come out. I’m just getting into reading and this was probably one of my favorite books so far.

The Holiday Wedding is perfect for the reader who enjoys a holiday romance with spice and some suspense. Multiple POV’S from different characters who aren’t just the two main characters was a nice change. The character art throughout the book was a really nice touch.

This is a sequel to the Holiday Star, but can be read as a standalone as the events from the first are reiterated well so you won’t feel lost.

Overall a great holiday read.

Absolutely adored this book, thank you NetGalley for the early read! I think it's so fun how they have pictures of the characters at the end of some of the chapters! I don't ever see that in romance books I read and I enjoyed that. This book had it all including suspense and Intrigue! Perfect holiday read.

This is the first book I have read from Dr. Melissa Dymond!
Easy to read, even with having multiple POVs from the characters. I absolutely loved Jenny & Deans characters the best and hope to hear more about them in future books.
This book had a ton of fan favorite tropes, including Grump/Sunshine, One bed, Snowed In, He falls first, and more.
I enjoyed the suspense storyline of a stalker, until it was revealed who it was. It felt a little far-fetched and the scene did not feel believable, but that’s just me.
Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed the story & characters, and will go back to read Holiday Star ⭐️
3.5/4

This book is a great reminder that like the Christmas spirit, it is so important to find joy and be grateful for life and the opportunity to surround ourselves with those we love and chose to love us in return. Yes, Gwen fell in love with Caleb who is a celebrity many times over. However, it is his shy smile and large heart that won her over. She was strong in her own right and well respected in the cancer research sector. Being through it with her father only reiterated her commitment to reaching a resolution. What I liked about the characters such as Dean and Jenny is that they felt real to me. Jenny struggled with the lack of confidence in her body and Dean from PTSD. However, just like Caleb and Gwen, they truly wanted the best for each other. The wedding and Christmas permeates throughout the book but the main takeaway is love, joy and hope. To celebrate life such as Carter. To remember those that are lost such as Robert. Because of the end, I look forward to the next one!

this is book four in a series, it can be read as a standalone, but I think it would be better to read the books in order. a little romance and a little mystery.

A holiday wedding story that chases a famous actor’s soon-to-be-wife through the round of feelings and risks of also becoming famous. A double love story, this book will make you swoon for the deep relationship between two committed people and enjoy watching another form and blossom at the same time.

Quite the cast with a celebrity groom and medical doctor bride with bodyguards, friends, family, and a rather persistent stalker. Different personalities with sub plots keep, things moving, and the escalating stalker provides some suspense. A fun holiday read.

" Holiday wedding " had me laughing , hooked and full of love , you really develop connection to all the characters in the book. the story follows two best friends which is written with Dual POV. Gwen (doctor) is about to have her dream wedding to Caleb (actor/singer ). but things don't go to plan or as smoothly as they had planed , when a STALKER and whirlwind of events seem to get in the way !
jenny (journalist/ reporter) is Gwen's best friend and she is sent on a job to cover Caleb so has to follow Caleb around , with Caleb's celebrity statutes he has to have a bodyguard with him all the time.... jenny and his bodyguard don't get on but with the event taking place in Caleb's and Gwen's life they come together to help solve who the stalker is ........
this book was amazing i really couldn't put it down , it had me gripped straight away , it was so well written and so descriptive you could really picture everything and everyone. 5 star read !!!!

Set mostly in New York City the two weeks leading to Christmas, this follow up story to Holiday Star continues the love story of Gwen and Caleb as they prepare for their wedding while also following Gwen's best friend Jenny and Caleb's bodyguard Dean.

I read Holiday Star right before this, so it was a seamless transition to this story, though I think the author did a great job if you wanted to jump in at this point. I really enjoyed the dual POV between Gwen and Jenny following their different stories. The light suspense was a great addition in this story! It looks like Gwen's new friend Helen and her brother Teddy are set up as the next story, so looking forward to reading more by this author!

What I loved (Jenny and Dean focused tropes):
✨ Grumpy / sunshine
✨ Forced proximity / one bed (snowed in!)
✨ Christmas time
✨ Enemies to lovers
✨ Artwork throughout
✨ Light suspense (working together to find Caleb's stalker)

4.5 / 5 stars (rounded up)

Open door / spicy
(the spicy version starts off strong, really love that the author has the other version for those interested)

Many thanks to NetGalley and the author for providing an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book was SO good! Another win for my holiday TBR! I absolutely loved this book, I loved the characters, the plot, and all of the holiday elements that made it a perfect read for this time of year! This was also my first Melissa Dymond read, and it definitely will not be my last! I absolutely loved her writing style and thought everything in this book flowed so perfectly.

Gwen and Caleb are EVERYTHING and so are Jenny and Dean! I loved the dual romantic storylines with our POVs being Gwen’s and Jenny’s. Gwen and Caleb have an established relationship, and then Dean and Jenny have a new relationship. Gwen and Caleb are going through it as they prepare for their wedding! She’s travelling and there is just a lot of emotions flowing between them, but I loved how genuine and raw their love for each other felt. You just know that NOTHING is coming between them. Dean and Jenny were amazing, too! I absolutely loved seeing their progression as the story went on.

I loved Jenny’s character so much. Her feelings of not being good enough really resonated with me and I just connected with her so easily. She’s trying so hard to show that she’s a loyal friend, and I just wanted to wrap her up in a big hug. Her and Dean are actually so perfect for each other! We kind of have a grumpy x sunshine thing going between them but I actually cried a little bit when Dean opened up to her about his past and his scars. They complement each other so well and I loved everything about them.

The suspense piece of the plot was incredibly captivating! I had to know what was going to happen, and trying to figure out the mystery of who was tormenting Caleb and Gwen was like watching a true crime documentary. I couldn’t get enough!

Everything about this book was perfect! I loved the pacing and I loved how real the emotions felt. I felt like everyone’s emotions and feelings were super justifiable in all of their situations, and I loved the way that Melissa portrayed them. She handled some really delicate themes beautifully and created a flawless narrative that flowed perfectly, and created a truly immersive reading experience.

I’m so excited to continue this series and to check out Melissa’s other books! I can’t wait to see the next story in this universe as I have a pretty good idea who it’s about and I AM HERE FOR IT!

Overall, definitely recommend this one!

Holiday Wedding, by Dr. Melissa Dymond, is a fun-loving example of the holiday romance genre. I enjoyed it as it provided all the "resolutions" I crave in this type of book, but also included mystery aspects that aren't typically found in romance books (especially Christmas ones). I enjoyed the added bit of tension as well as the banter of the characters. All in all, it was a fun time! I also like how we can anticipate a sequel next year. I hope it includes the main characters from this novel as well. Thank you to Netgalley for this free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the book, I liked how it was multiple point of view in the book, it wasn’t to spicy but I liked that the author offerd two versions of the book open door with spice, and a close door with out so everyone can enjoy the book, and if you enjoy grumpy x sunshine you enjoy this along with force proximity. I recommend this book if you like holiday type of book also.

Dr. Melissa Dymond’s Holiday Wedding initially presents itself as a cozy holiday romance, reminiscent of a lighthearted Hallmark movie. However, it quickly distinguishes itself as a layered and engaging story with unexpected depth and a bit of spice.

The plot captures the charm of a holiday setting, but it’s the characters who steal the show. They are vividly drawn, with quirks and personalities that make them both relatable and entertaining. Their humor and wit add an extra dimension to the narrative, making it more than just a seasonal romance. The chemistry between the protagonists is palpable, and the novel balances heartwarming moments with a bold, steamy edge, ensuring that it stands out in the holiday romance genre.

Dymond’s writing is sharp and engaging, offering a seamless blend of humor, romance, and drama. The pacing keeps readers hooked, and the dialogue feels natural and lively. Fans of interconnected series will be delighted to hear that Holiday Wedding hints at further stories involving these compelling characters, making it a promising start to a larger narrative universe.

In summary, Holiday Wedding is a delightful mix of festive cheer, romance, and spice. It’s perfect for readers seeking a holiday escape with depth and humor. Dr. Melissa Dymond has crafted a story that will appeal to fans of romance and holiday fiction alike, and her future works are certainly worth anticipating.

Book four in The Wedding Date series and I have read zero other books. I probably would appreciate the writing style and characters more had I of read the previous books but I did enjoy this love story. Vivian is in her 50s and has been divorced for a few decades and this is her shot at love again and I am here for it.

✨Holiday wedding is a dual povs story with two storyline of fmc -Gwen and jenny with their partners caleb and dean respectively so we have two different love story in one book😉. Its so much perfect for winter christmas vibe. If you want something heartwarming, cozy, light fun ,with stalker on loose suspense twist, then you should definately pick holiday wedding.

Both the guys are green flags.💚I liked how the insecurities are weaved in the story making it so much realistic and relatable. Mental health representation is done perfectly.

The way each couple made one another feel loved and special and complete is very well written. There is also a stalker suspense and side mini love story of other couple which is cherry on top, who too were green flags💚.

Its a perfect blend of spicy and sweet cozy romance.

Ps: It had a cute artwork too. I did cute edit too, if you like to see , open the link for instagram.👇

There will be another story of a couple Helen and teddy in upcoming book of holiday star series. Be ready for it❣️

Thank you netgalley.

I was super excited for a holiday wedding romance but the book was a bit different from what I expected. I did not read the first book of the series but I felt like all of the flashbacks/references to what I'm assuming are things that happened in the first book just made this one more confusing to follow. There were a lot of characters to keep track of, and honestly I'm still confused on who some of them are still at the end of the book. The book seemed to drag on with a lot of fluff for a while, then a lot would happen all at once. I found it predictable in some ways, and then wildly thrown off how far fetched other scenes went. I feel like the dual storylines took away from each other. I also was expecting a bit more spicy scenes from the way the book opened but they were few and far between.
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for allowing me to read this book.
