Interesting take on the low-carb high-fat diet which is so popular these days. This book give the science behind the principle, but in short simple chapters, so is easy to read for those whose eyes glaze over when confronted by facts and figures. There's also a short section with recipes. I liked it all except for the exercise section which assumes that all readers are familiar with gyms and their equipment, and doesn't describe or illustrate fully many of the exercises suggested (which could cause problems for the unfit and/or inexperienced). It did however suggest going to a gym at first to learn the basics, but of course many would not do so and prefer to try at home.
