This book was requested when I was young and requested more books than I could possibly read. Sadly, I no longer have access to this book and my tastes have changed. Thus I will not be able to give feedback on this title.

Carrier by Anne Tibbets is book one in The Line series of New Adult books. This dystopia is dark and gritty and is not for the faint of heart. There are some trigger warnings in this book which is worth mentioning. Naya, the main character is a victim of trafficking and is a sex worker. This subject matter is handled well by Anne Tibbets. She has a gentle and heartfelt touch but despite that this book will not be for all readers. This is a book that is not supposed to be easy it tackles real issues that affect many in our world today and does so well. The dystopian setting didn't always work for me but I think most readers will not mind. I wasn't all that sure about the characters which with the exception on Naya were underdeveloped.
