I received this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This was another great installment of the Finlay Donovan series. I have listened to all of the books in this series because I really like the narrator. She does a great job differentiating between the different characters and does male voices really well. It’s a very engaging and enjoyable listening experience.
I am a big fan of this series. The pacing is great, making it hard to put down- or stop listening. I felt like Nick was more of a presence than in previous books which also helped drive the plot along. So many of the relationships are so great. I love Vero! Definitely worth a read!

This series isn't for me. I wish I enjoyed this series as much as others did but it just goes on and on and on and I think somewhere along the way, we gotta let things go.

You get what you expect in this latest Finlay Donovan caper--slapstick, campy, over the top. I liked spending time with familiar characters and I liked the twist with Mrs. Haggerty and the building relationship with Finlay and Nick. Warning: Cliffhanger ending!
Thanks to #NetGalley and #StMartinsPress for an ARC of this book

I really enjoyed this book! This series has been so much fun. I love the characters and how they keep growing throughout each book. I hated Steven but I think he’s starting to grow on me. I will never like anyone more than Nick though! Also Mrs. H is a total bad ass and Cam is the hacker best friend I never had. This book set the next one up perfectly too! Can’t wait for book 6!

Admittedly, I read all the ARCs of this entire series in 2 days, so it’s all blending together. But I felt like this was another super fun read that had me laughing out loud. Finlay Donovan is the best!

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC! Finley Donovan is one of my favorite book characters of all time! This story had the same mystery, romance, and cozy feeling as the rest of the series! I am excited for its release date so I can talk with everyone I know about this book!!

Latest book of Finlay series :) all the good characters Vero, Nick, Cam, Mrs Haggerty are in it. It’s similar to the other ones and just as fun! Thanks to @macmillan.audio and @stmartinspress for my advanced reader and listener copies ♥️

The latest installment deals with the dead body found in the backyard of the elderly neighbor. A fun mystery, with a different pace than the past stories. I enjoyed this one. Although there was a lead in to the next, the main story is fully wrapped up and a really good ending.

I didn't *love* the last couple books in this series, but this one totally lived up to my expectations! I thought this was so fun, and while I wish Finlay would stand up for herself a tiny bit more, Mrs Haggerty ends up being such a great character to get in the mix. Really enjoyed this!

This book was a bit tamed compared to the previous books in the series, but it was still fun to follow Finlay and Vero and sometimes Nick investigate the this new case.Mrs. Haggety is a fun character, at times mysterious and strict enough to potty train a toddler. Finlay’s kids bring the scene stealing humor. A fun read to the continuation of the series.

Another great installment of the Finlay Donovan series! Is it a little ridiculous and convenient? Yes but it’s such a good time and I love the development of Finlay and Nicks relationship!

Another great fast-paced read from this author, with an ending that leaves you wanting more. All the gang are back as Finlay Donovan`s story continues as the events of previous books are threaded into this one, revealing more details and character development . This series is a great cozy mystery, adventurous and comedic story that will keep you entertained.

Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave is a hilarious, twisty mystery that keeps you laughing and on the edge of your seat. Cosimano’s witty writing and clever plot make it an irresistible read.

I really enjoyed this book. It stays true to the rest of the series: engaging, moderately paced, and fun. A little bit of romance with hot cop, Nick. A lot of mystery, trying to figure out the leads and what might happen next. Would recommend!

Finlay's ex husband is being questioned regarding a murder, and Finlay takes it upon herself to find out what truly happened. Very intriguing.

I read this as an ARC through Net Galley. Thanks!

As a big fan of the Finlay series, I was intrigued to see how things would continue after more or less wrapping things up with Feliks and Charlie in the previous book, FInlay Donovan Rolls the Dice. This sequel keeps things rolling by making a minor character, Mrs Haggerty, much more of the main plot - to the point of moving in with Finlay!

I adored getting to see more of Haggerty, and it was nice to see Finlay mature considerably in her relationship with Detective Nick, as the strain in keeping certain things going was beginning to show. I am curious to see how some plots keep going, and there's definitely been small seeds planted that I hope will be explored in later books. Once again, the side characters are a delight, and these books are a charming mix of humor, murder, and romance. I'll be keeping up with Finlay in whatever her next adventures may be.

I am such a fan of the Finaly Donovan series. They are clever and funny and the character development is great. This latest installment did not disappoint with many of Finlay's familiar hijinx and her great back-and-forth with Vero. There's always a great feminist theme throughout these books. A quick and entertaining read! Five stars.

Ok first, I loved this latest book in the Finlay Donovan series! I didn't want to put it down. It reminded me of how I felt when I read the first book in the series. I will admit that I have not cared for the other books in the series and I was hesitant to read this one, but so glad I did! I loved it so much!

This book follows Finlay as she deals with her nosey neighbor; who moves herself into Finlay's house after being accused of murder, her agent as she is trying to convince Finlay to sign paperwork to make her books into a movie/tv deal, and let's bring in the young attorney to be (Julian) that may or may not create a bit of a love triangle. Again this book had all the vibes of the first one. That's all the synopsis I want to give as you just want to jump in feet first.

I loved loved loved this book!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this latest Finlay Donovan book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this. It was one of my favorites of the series so far. If being at the wrong place at the wrong time was a superpower, then it would be Finlay Donovan’s. She also seems to be a dead body magnet, and I love it. This book was hilarious. Especially the Mrs. Haggerty plot. I love seeing her back story and getting to know her more. Also, her and Cam’s friendship was so cute. I’m so glad we had some advancement of Nick and Finlay’s relationship as well. I love them together!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER YEAR TO READ THE NEXT BOOK?!?!?

I don't know if it's just my seasonal depression making me weepy, or if this book just hit the right emotional strings but I was teary-eyed by the end of this book.

I am SO happy that I have found this series and am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to read this book early. I have a hardcover pre-ordered for March and can't wait to add it to my shelf with all my Finlay books!

The Finlay Donovan series has quickly moved its way up to one of my absolute favorite series of all time and this 5th installment is so much fun! In this book, we pick up where 4 left off -- Finlay and Vero have a new murder to solve. Gildford Dupree, whose body was exhumed from Mrs. Haggerty's yard, was killed and no one knows who did it. The one person who Finlay doesn't want taking the blame is her ex-husband Steven, since any thorough investigation into Steven could lead to a thorough investigation into Finlay and she has lots of secrets to hide.

Similar to the other books in this series, we get to see the hijinks of Finlay and Vero as they try to figure out who killed Gilford while clearing Steven's name. We also get to see Finlay and Nick's relationship blossom, which I personally loved. Of course, the end leaves us on a cliffhanger to prepare for the SIXTH installment. I am SO here for the continuation of this series and am so happy we get a book 6 and 7. I will be so upset when this series ends.

Thank you to Netgalley and Minotaur books for the e-galley in exchange for an honest review. And to Elle Cosimano, PLEASE NEVER STOP WRITING THESE! Even 7 books will not be nearly enough of these characters.

Everyone’s favorite accidental hit-woman, Finlay Donovan is back! The latest installment of this suburban single mom’s crazy life with her unconventional nanny (and partner in crime), Vero, who’s got her own secrets, is just as action-packed and zany as the previous installments. When a body turns up in Finlay’s nosy neighbor’s rose garden, the police presence starts making Finlay antsy about what they might find out about her own nefarious activities. But the real surprise happens when the investigation narrows to focus on her ex-husband, Steven, potentially unearthing inconvenient questions about an investigation that had already closed.

With Finlay’s neighbor, Mrs. Haggerty, now living at Finlay’s house, Finlay’s son in the thick of potty training, her agent trying to work yet another outlandish deal, and Finlay’s relationship with the handsome detective, Nick, moving toward a potentially devastating turning point, Finlay has a lot to juggle while she tries to find the real killer and clear Steven’s name, as well as ensure no one looks too closely at previous murder cases.

Thank you to NetGalley and Minotaur Books for the advance reader’s copy.
