Female villians ust hits differently. This book flips the usual stalker story on its head- because this time, the woman is the mastermind. Jane is convinced Colin is her soulmate, still loves her, even after he dumps her and starts dating perfect Zoe. Jane won't let that keep them apart, she quickly takes up the chance to befriend Zoe, get into their social circle, and soon, love turns into a deadly game. With Jane being the obessessive, unhinged narrator, this book is You meet Gone Girl meet Single White Female.

I'm always a sucker for a good stalker story from the POV of the deranged mind.
This book does an excellent job of *almost* making you agree with the MC, Jane, a girl who just doesn't understand why the love of her life would end things. After all, they had six blissful dates together. Can't Colin see they are meant to be? The perfect opportunity to help him realize his mistake lands in her lap when she befriends his latest girlfriend.
The book follows her misguided adventure, which slowly takes a couple of dark turns and has you wondering if anyone is going to have a happy ending.
Easy four out of five stars!
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC!

Thank you to Olivia Worley, St Martins Press/Minotaur books, and Netgalley for the arc of So Happy Together! This murder/mystery was extremely hard to put down! Just when you think you’ve figured it out there is another shocking twist! A must read for 2025!! This book publishes on 6/3/25!

I have to say that I couldn't put this down. I initially thought it was just a love story that ended badly, but I didn't realize how "bad" it was going to get. I think if you were a fan of YOU, you'd like this one as well. It's hard to even tell which character is the worst character in the book. HA!
This def is the anti-Valentine's Day book. It's about all the fears you have about people you meet coming true.
It was interesting being in the brain of someone, who is completely unhinged.
The twists started to get a little obvious, and some of the stuff fell together a little too easily. I struggled between 3 and 4 stars but since it kept me pretty engaged the whole time, I rounded up! Thank you to Olivia Worley, Netgalley, and the publishers for this eARC.

This was definitely a fun and unhinged ride. It was a little slower than I would've liked. The FMC was crazy obsessed which is was made the book so entertaining. There were many twists and turns but mostly towards the end, also mostly all happens towards the end. I felt it was a little rushed and not a big fan of the final reveal.

I am into the romance/thriller vibe. Jane was a bit much but that was what made the book good. This was a twisty darker book that was very engaging. I for sure recommend this book!

this was a good book!! I love the romance/thriller combination. It was so entertaining, funny, and thrilling!! I did like the themes, and this is a great valentines day read, I am glad I was able to read this ARC!!
Thank you to NetGalley, to the author, and to the publisher for this complimentary ARC in exchange for my honest review!!!

Thank you to NetGalley, Olivia Worley, and Minotaur books for the ARC in exchange for my review. I was originally interested in reading this based on the cover and synopsis. This book is fast paced with a few twists scattered throughout. There was predictable moments but that didn't take away. The ending felt rushed but the storyline came together well. The characters were likeable for the most part. Zoe was lovely and someone I'd befriend. Jane was cringey but easily liked. I definitely got a lot of 'You' vibes from this book. Would definitely read more from this author.

I enjoyed this novel and reading about Jane as she navigated life after a recent break-up. She became stalker-like as she was unable to let go of the man she cared so much for, who broke up with her and has moved on with someone new. There were a lot of twists and turns in this novel, and many surprising revelations and secrets that I definitely did not see coming.
An enjoyable read that I would recommend.

Olivia Worley, So Happy Together, St. Martin’s Press / Minotaur Books, expected publication date June 3, 2025
"Six dates with Colin and it was over, or was it?" This intriguing thought sets the stage for Olivia Worley's "So Happy Together," a novel that weaves together elements of murder, mystery, and psychological twists. The book is a compelling read, though it progresses at a much slower pace than one might expect.
The protagonist, Jane, is a struggling playwright in New York City whose world shatters when her relationship with Colin—the man she believes could be "the one"—comes to an abrupt end. In a desperate bid to win him back, Jane’s plan takes an unsettling turn as she befriends Colin’s new girlfriend, Zoe. This twist of fate leads to a series of unforeseen events that unravel the true nature of Colin’s past, Zoe’s character and Jane’s own motivations, raising the stakes in a game of emotional manipulation, obsession and murder.
Worley's writing style is engaging and accessible, making it an easy read. The character’s motivations are believable, which helps to draw the reader into the story. However, the pacing of the novel is a notable aspect that might not appeal to all readers. The first half of the book moves at a leisurely pace, with a focus on character development and setting the scene. This slower pace can be both a strength and a weakness. On one hand, it allows the reader to become deeply invested in the characters and their relationships. On the other hand, it might feel a bit dragging for those who prefer a faster, more action-packed narrative.
The resolution of the story is satisfying, though it may not be as groundbreaking as some readers might hope. The psychological depth of the characters and the intricate plot make "So Happy Together" a worthwhile read, especially for fans of the mystery and psychological thriller genres.
In conclusion, "So Happy Together" is a well-written and engaging novel that offers a mix of romance, mystery, and psychological intrigue. While the pacing may be a bit slow for some, the well-developed characters and compelling plot make it a solid addition to the genre. Olivia Worley has crafted a story that will keep readers turning the pages, eager to uncover the truth.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press / Minotaur Books for the opportunity to review this advanced copy.

Thank you NetGalley and Minotaur Books for this advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review. So Happy Together was a fun read and that Jane was so delulu it was comical. I just feel like the ending could of been better, I still wanted to know what happened next.

I absolutely loved this book, a 5 star read.
We follow Jane through her heartbreak of being broken up with a man she thought could potentially be the love of her life. She is devastated and confused and unwilling to give up on Colin. Jane finds a way to get reconnect with Colin by proxy by befriending his new girlfriend. This choice leads to a series of troubling secrets, betrayals, and murder.
The character development in this book is phenomenal, really giving insight into each persons choices as they all play a convoluted cat and mouse game.
Jane is written as a very complex character internally, which tossed me back and forth between rooting for her and rooting against her. In the end I feel the story was wrapped up nicely, while still leaving the reader a layer of complex psyche to accept and dissect.
I definitely suggest giving this book a read

"So Happy Together" by Olivia Worley is a delightful and uplifting romance that captures the essence of love, personal growth, and the magic of serendipity. The story centers around two characters whose lives seem destined to intertwine, leading to an emotional and heartwarming journey.
One of the strengths of the novel is its strong, well-developed characters. Worley does an excellent job of creating relatable and likable protagonists who feel authentic, with emotional depth and complex backgrounds. The way the characters' relationships evolve, both romantically and personally, feels real and organic, making the reader root for them every step of the way.
The pacing of the story is well-balanced, with moments of tension and heartwarming interactions that keep readers engaged without feeling rushed. The dialogue is snappy and often filled with wit, making it a fun read, but it also doesn’t shy away from exploring deeper themes of self-identity, healing, and understanding what it really means to find happiness.
The setting, while not overly detailed, creates an inviting atmosphere that enhances the tone of the story. It’s the kind of book that leaves you with a smile on your face, offering a sense of comfort without being overly predictable.
Overall, “So Happy Together” is a charming, feel-good romance that combines humor, heart, and a bit of magic. If you’re in the mood for a book that’s warm and uplifting, this one will likely hit the spot. It’s a perfect read for fans of romantic comedies with a meaningful core.

Please note that I received this book via NetGalley. This did not affect my rating or review.
This was the most confusing book ever. It's mostly following a 20+ year old woman named Jane who is delusional about her 6 date "relationship" with the most basic guy ever named Colin. And we get the longest reveal ever of what sent her running from somewhere years earlier. I think that Worley was going for some twists/reveals to keep you going. But I just found myself bored repeatedly while reading. Don't get me started about the other character we mostly focus on, Zoe.
"So Happy Together" follows Jane who is stalking (there is no other word for it) her ex Colin and his current girlfriend, Zoe. Jane knows that she and Colin have a connection and is upset he dumped her. Now she's focused on showing him what he's missing. When she runs into him and Zoe, Zoe takes a liking to her and now Jane is front and center to their relationship and how she can show Colin she is perfect for him.
No, this is not "You" and even within striking distance of that book. Jane is no Joe people. Jane is just a mess and exhausting. Toss in some murders and other things the book just becomes chaotic. And then we keep getting asides to Ophelia and I have never hated a literary character so much. I just felt like this book was trying to do too many things and it didn't work out in the end. Being in Jane's head as she keeps ignoring every red flag known to man got old real quick.
Colin...for being the center of Jane's world is not interesting at all.
The ending had me going okay then and moving onto something else.

Happy Together is a cleverly twisted thriller that hooks you from the very first chapter and doesn’t let go. Olivia Worley expertly weaves a tale of secrets, betrayal, and the darker side of human connections,

OMG, I couldn't put this one down once I got the time! The twists and turns were absolutely INSANE. Imagine this: A girl totally obsessed with a guy she dated for only two months decides to wiggle her way into his current relationship. How? By befriending his new girlfriend, of course! But oh, the secrets they all keep.
Murder. Mystery. Stalking. Lies. This book has it all! I was thoroughly captivated from start to finish. I went back and forth trying to figure out who the real villain was, but that final twist? It shook me to my core! If you're a fan of psychological thrillers that keep you guessing, "So Happy Together" is a must-read. Beautiful written!

3.5 stars
Jane went on six dates with Colin and then it was over. She’s heartbroken and convinced that they are meant to be. She sets up dating app dates for each week at the same bar/restaurant hoping she will see him (hoping he will realize that he misses her). When she finally “runs into him”, he’s on a date with Zoe, clearly having moved on. Jane becomes obsessed with Colin’s new love, and finds a way to run into them, once again convinced that Colin will see what he’s missing.
However, there’s so much more to this story than Jane wanting to get close to Colin. Jane, Colin, and Zoe are connected in a myriad of ways, with each connection revealing more deception. The beginning of the story feels like it fits in the romance genre where I wasn’t sure what I wanted for Jane. Then about halfway through, the tone of the story shifts to a mystery/thriller and I questioned all the characters. There are some twists toward the end.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press/Minotaur Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC via NetGalley but opinions are my own. This book is kind of a slow burn and went in a different direction than I was expecting. I thought it would be more of a rom-com vibe with an overly attached Jane, but there’s quite a bit more to unpack here. Several twisty turns in the last 1/3 of the book, and then even more at the very end. Side note- They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but I have to say this one is pretty cute, and would definitely lead to me picking the book up! Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

A twisty, suspenseful story about what happens when Colin breaks up with Jane. This isn’t just a regular breakup - Jane KNOWS that her and Colin are supposed to be together; they’re soulmates. Even his new girlfriend is all wrong for him. And, Jane is going to get him back no matter what it takes.
This book was unputdownable! Held my interest from start to finish, and kept me up past bedtime! Thanks for the opportunity to read!

They style was chilling, I never knew what was coming next except it was going to be suspenseful! Highly recommend. Will be purchasing for libraries.
