The way I gravitate towards a holiday romance this time of year! This was a fun story that centers around Annie Jones who is stuck repeating Christmas Eve until she finds what she’s been missing. It was just as heartwarming as it claimed to be, and definitely gave me the cozy feels I hoped for.
I listened to the audio performance and paired it with the physical book. I love being fully immersed while reading this way. The narration was by Emma Faye, and I thought it was a great choice for the characters.

This book was cute time, while it didn’t do anything new but it did do the standards very well. Definitely worth checking out.

I really liked Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird! It’s a sweet and charming holiday romance, though I’ll admit it took me a little while to really get into the story. Once it picked up, I was hooked, and it definitely gave me those cozy holiday vibes. If you’re in the mood for a slow-burn romance with a festive twist, this is a perfect pick!

Ended up reading it elsewhere as I missed downloading this copy, such a Christmas book for me and my first by this author but not the last. Just loved the storytelling and narrator as well

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced copy of this audio book.
This was a cute holiday book that took on a very Groundhog Day meets It's a Wonderful Life vibe. Poor Annie was stuck in a holiday time look and was forced to repeat Christmas Eve over and over again. It was a cute book but it did seem a little drawn out and repetitive at times. A good read for the holidays though.

This was a sweet and charming story. However, this is not one of my favorite holiday books I would recommend. Like most Groundhog Day type stories, the middle really dragged and felt so repetitive, I lost interest and stopped counting what day they were on in their 12 day cycle. This is very much a Hallmark Christmas movie set up though!

A cute and sweet Groundhog Day-esque romance novel set around the holidays.
Pros - I loved the characters and the heartfelt story. The narrator was fantastic! Will definitely listen to other books she narrates.
Cons - At times, as you might expect with this trope, things started to feel repetitive. It wasn't enough to make me stop listening, I just found myself checking how much time was left a few times.
Overall, 3.75 🌟, rounded up to 4!

This was a fun book at first, but I instantly knew it wouldn’t be a book I was obsessed over cause I’m not a major fan of “repeated day” storylines. And this book just felt looooong. So. Many. Repeats. The romance was cute with the MMC learning about the repeats too, but since it also was a clean romance I just couldn’t get that invested in the love story. It was just a lot I think for a cutesy hallmark-y Christmas romance.
Thank you NetGalley And Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this book in exchange for my honest review

Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird is a time loop holiday romance that follows Annie as she relives Christmas Eve over and over again. This is definitely a very common plot device for holiday romance but I did like still enjoy it overall. The romance was cute and sweet. Unfortunately things did start to feel really repetitive and I ended up getting bored a few times. But it was still a fun and heartwarming story that leaves you feeling warm and happy. The audiobook was great. Emma Faye's narration was lovely. Her voice really brought the story to life.

Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird is a very cute, time loop romance with likable characters and a great plot.

This is a cute Holiday romance with a time loop. I enjoyed the NYC department store setting, as Annie is setting up the Christmas window display on Christmas Eve. But when some naughty kids ruin it, “Santa” gives her some tips to fix it, and Braden, the store’s security guard, lends a hand. The next day, Annie discovers it's not Christmas morning but Christmas Eve…again.
🎄While the loop did become a bit repetitive, the characters are sweet, and the story has a bit of whimsy, perfect for the season.
Thank you @dreamscape_media for the gifted audiobook.
3.5 🌟 rounded up

Loved this! It was a fun Christmas version of groundhog day. It did get a bit too repetitive at the end but I really enjoyed the ending so that made up for it.
It was cozy, heartwarming, and had you rooting for a happy ending! Perfect to get into the holiday mood!

Whenever I start a book involving time loops, I am always worried it will get too repetitive and I won't like it. Thankfully, that was not the case for me with Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird and this heartfelt and funny read made me want to tackle her backlist immediately. (I did see some complaints from other readers regarding repetition, but I didn’t feel this way at all). I adored Annie and the setting of Lawson’s in NYC gave me some serious Elf vibes minus the silly elf aspect but with a suspiciously real (or is he?) Santa. This had all of the Christmas cheer that I expected from a book set on Christmas Eve and the budding romance between Annie and Braden made me oh-so-happy.
I also loved this one on audiobook, and I couldn’t have asked for a better narrator for Annie than Emma Faye. She felt like the epitome of our FMC, and I loved her voice and pacing very much. I didn’t find any flaws in her narration, though I wish she would have changed up her voice a little bit for Braden. I honestly wish he wouldn’t even have had a viewpoint and throwing him into the book just occasionally was very odd and unnecessary. On audio it was downright confusing, so I could have done without that piece of it. However! That was just a small blip in an otherwise perfect holiday read and I found it absolutely adorable. Read this if you enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies, found family galore, and magical realism!

This was a quick on read that I enjoyed and was able to finish within a day. I really liked the plot and found the characters relatable.

This book is a DNF. We start with a young woman who does store windows getting told that she will be laid off in the coming year. And this is after she already feels embarrassed from falling over her tall shoes, dropping multiple things out of her purse and running into the security guard. This book is a set up to find love between her and the security guard and that’s perfectly OK. I think for me it’s the reader that is getting to me. I think I would like this story as a Hallmark movie but as a book it feels to drawn out. I am DNF thing at 5.2%.

I really enjoyed this story! It definitely brought the Christmas vibe plus a Happy Death Day feel to it. The narrator did a good job of bringing this characters to life. I love that we got both MCs POVs. It was a bit predictable but I didn’t mind at all. I was so invested to know how everything would be solved. I thought my heart was about to be broken for a second but everything worked out fine.
This is a perfect quick Christmas read. I definitely recommend everyone to read this one.
Thank you to the author, Dreamscape Media, and NetGalley for this audiobook.

This cozy Christmas romance with a time travel twist follows Annie Jones, a hardworking window designer in New York City, whose Christmas Eve display is ruined by kids. After a mysterious Santa offers a tip, she enlists the help of security guard Braden Tate, only to wake up and find it's Christmas Eve again.
As Annie navigates the time loop, she bonds with her neighbors and grows closer to Braden, forming a "found family" that adds warmth to the story. Braden is a charming, patient love interest, and their relationship develops sweetly. However, the repetitive nature of the time loop made parts of the story feel slow and predictable. Despite this, the narrator brings the characters to life, creating a festive, Hallmark-like atmosphere. It's a heartwarming, feel-good holiday read for those seeking a light, romantic escape.

🗯Thoughts/sassy musings:
Oh em gee!!! I’ve read a couple books by this author and while cute they were just fine but this one well exceeded my expectations! What an adorable cutie cute!
You know I love some magical realism time loops, throw in some holly jolly good cheer and I’m a happy little Who 🩷
The thing that worked with the story but was completely ridiculous is that the MC who is stuck must create/keep fixing a department store Christmas display. But it’s Christmas Eve….why is she creating a Christmas display ON CHRISTMAS EVE that determines her career….WHAT?! Just silly billy but I’m bring nit-picky!
