This was a fantastic book and the audio was phenomenal! The narrators did an amazing job bring this book to life. I loved the plot and story of Christmas Eve Love Story

I thought the story was good, but would have been better if it was a little shorter. Sometimes less is more and that's how I felt reading this book. There were moments i was fully in and some that i felt were unnecessary or dragged on.

Ginny Baird delivers all the festive feels with Christmas Eve Love Story, a charming holiday romance brimming with warmth and heart. With sparkling chemistry, heartfelt moments, and a touch of Christmas magic, this story captures the joy of the season and the beauty of love found when least expected. A perfect cozy read for the holidays!

A cute Christmas romcom with a twist. She’s stuck repeating Christmas Eve over and over and slowly falls for the night guard, while he remembers little details of him repeating the same day and starts helping her make the day perfect. She also slowly gets closer to all her neighbors and ends up hosting her neighbors for Christmas since the weather was going to be bad.
This book is great for those that want to get into the Christmas spirit but don’t want any spice but all the Christmas feelings.

Just finished this and I put down my phone with a smile on my face. This is a gorgeous well-thought-out story with so much depth and meaning. The starting is a little slow so you'll have to bear with it, but it picked up later on and I'm so glad I didn't lose hope. I've read another book by the author previously and I liked that one better, or maybe that's just hindsight.
The story follows Annie who gets stuck in a time loop, reliving the day before Christmas over and over again. At times I felt that the writing was repeating itself with every redo, but I love how the author added little twists and changes to the plot to keep it lively while omitting details we already knew. There are a lot of characters in the story but we meet them slowly so it isn't overwhelming. Braden is such a sweet love interest, he's someone everyone wants in their life. Supportive, considerate and so attractive. I also wish we saw more of Tina- Annie's best friend- because she was mentioned so many times but wasn't on the page much.
I found the narration confusing though, because there are a lot of flashbacks, and listening to the audiobook, I had no cues to understand which timeline this was. The ebook has those bit in italics but it's hard to differentiate in the audio. Otherwise, the narrator did a fantastic job voicing the very diverse cast with perfection. I don't know if I'd recommend the audiobook solely because of this issue, but the book is amazing!

Perfect little Christmas rom com to get you in the Christmas spirit. Fun, flirty and very cutesy! Can we talk about how adorable the cover is!?

Annie goes into work at Lawson’s Finest on Christmas Eve expecting a promotion – not to be told her job might be eliminated in the new year. She also wasn’t expecting her gorgeous window display to be destroyed by two dastardly kids, or for her run-in with the department store’s security guard to come to anything. After a terrible day, she just wants to celebrate Christmas in peace.
And then, she wakes up and has to do the whole day all over again. It’s a Groundhog Day type story line that sees Annie making changes to her day to create a better outcome and herself out of the time loop! Can she do it? And what about her feelings towards Braden? Is he starting to remember her at all?
Why Kirsten loves it
This sweet romance was just adorable! I love how Annie and Braden’s relationship evolved. I adored the store’s Santa and the various secondary characters. My only complaint is that certain things got a little redundant at times.

Ginny Baird's latest novel, "A Christmas Eve Love Story," is a delightful blend of holiday magic and romance that will enchant fans of festive fiction.
Annie Jones, a window designer for an iconic New York department store, is having quite the Christmas Eve. After spilling her purse in front of a handsome security guard named Brandon, learning her job might be in jeopardy, and watching two rambunctious children destroy her window display, she's ready to write the day off completely. Brandon stays late to help her restore the display, and Annie heads home hoping to reconnect with him after the holidays.
But Christmas magic has other plans. When Annie wakes the next morning, it's Christmas Eve again—and she begins to suspect the remarkably authentic store Santa might have something to do with it. Despite her attempts to avoid the day's mishaps, events unfold similarly, though this time she and Brandon share coffee at a local diner after fixing the window.
As Annie finds herself reliving Christmas Eve repeatedly, she uses the time wisely. With Brandon and Santa's guidance, her window display evolves into something extraordinary. Her connection with Brandon deepens with each iteration, and she begins forming meaningful relationships with her neighbors—even if they don't remember their conversations the next time around. Through these recurring encounters, Annie discovers that the cure for loneliness might have been within reach all along.
What makes this novel truly special is how Annie's journey transforms her perspective on life. The author skillfully develops the characters through each repeated day, keeping the story fresh and engaging throughout. Even within the confines of a single repeating day, the narrative never feels stagnant.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing an advance copy. The audio version's narration enhanced this charming holiday tale.

I DNF’d this book after the first full “day” in the storyline. I did not realize this was a “Groundhogs Day” style storyline and those are probably my most disliked types of stories. No alternative worlds or story arcs for me. I really dislike that style of writing, but I picked this ARC from the title and cover. So disappointed and I’m really hoping I find a good Christmas story this season! Sheesh!

This was cute but albeit a touch repetitive. Cute 12 days of Christmas finding how your day is stuck in a time loop. It was a fun read but was missing something.

Unfortunately, I cannot get past the voice and inflections the narrator has in this audiobook. It is like nails on a chalkboard to my brain.

Very cute and fun. I’m a sucker for holiday time loops. I enjoyed the characters and the plot details. A great addition to one’s Christmas reads!

Tis the season for holiday books and this one was so much fun! The feel of magic at Christmastime was so fun to listen to - and the heartwarming story and side characters made my holiday heart so happy! Annie & Braden were the cutest holiday couple and the story flowed so well. The narration (Emma Faye) was excellent and the pacing was perfect. I highly recommend this one for the holiday season!

Yeah, that was cute in a Christmas-y way. Now, like a lot of Christmas things I feel like, it wasn't groundbreaking either. The romance was sweet but the characters didn't have amazing chemistry either I feel like, and I'm not the biggest fan of Groundhog Day type of scenario so this fell a little flat in my opinion. I also wished there were 2 narrators for the girl and the guy instead of just one but they don't do a terrible job at it so it's honestly fine. 2.75 stars.

In Christmas Eve Love Story, Annie gets stuck repeating the same day - xmas eve - over and over until she gets it right. This is a fun read. It breaks a bit of the 'repeat the same day' stereotype because slowly people start to remember the previous days. This helps explain how she gets so close to her neighbors. I struggled a bit with the actor narrating this audiobook not really distinguishing who was talking.
Thanks NetGalley for the Audiobook ARC

One thing about me? I LOVE a time travel romance. This is like the Christmas version of groundhog day and I ate it right up. Annie Jones ends up in a Christmas Eve time loop where she has to keep repeating the day over and over again until she gets it just right. It is magical, fun, and bursting with joy! Perfect for the holiday season.

Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird is a holiday-themed twist on Groundhog Day. This charming romance features a department store window display artist (Annie) who finds herself reliving December 24th repeatedly until she perfects her window scene. It’s a delightful, uplifting story filled with just the right amount of magic and charm.
Thank you to NetGalley, Ginny Baird and Dreamscape Media for advance access to the audiobook.
The book is narrated by Emma Faye. She does an excellent job with the narration, and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more books she reads.

This one took me by surprise in the best way! 🎅🏼
This felt like a cup of hot chocolate, under a warm blanket on Christmas Eve. ☕️
I really enjoyed Annie and her energy throughout the entire book! I loved her relationships she was forming with her neighbors and Braden. She was a little rough around the edges at first but her heart shown through by day 12.
I absolutely adored the tie up at the end with Braden’s mom and then all having dinner together. Santa was probably one of my favorite characters as well.
The audio was very well done and i really enjoyed listening to the story!
It is very Hallmark ESK and I think it would be such a good movie! 😊
I would absolutely recommend this and will be looking into more by this author!
