Does Angels really exist? Trey never thought he was going to be saved by an angel and never has the chance to say thank you. Can he find his cinderella and properly thank her? Marlee never saw it coming. She only followed the angel command and was able to save the stranger's life. Little did she know that it will changer life for the better. Marlee and Trey's love story is a sweet fairytale. Taylor Darby makes an excellent job with the audiobook.

When the angels talk, you listen. Well, you listen if you're smart. Fortunately, Marley is smart. She's also heard the angels talking since childhood, so it's nothing new or scary when one tells her to turn left instead of right during a horrible storm. Because she listened, she saves Trey Austin's life. No one gets her name and all Trey has to go on as to her identity is her shoe found in the mud. He begins an internet search for the unidentified Cinderella that goes viral. Hence begins this modern tale of Cinderella, albeit there's much more to it.
I'm not going to detail the plot as part of the delight is uncovering bits of information and background for the characters as they do. Neither comes without baggage, of course, though of very different kinds. Marley is all about family and friends who are family and the traditions of running her fourth generation lodge, especially at Christmas. Yet, she has a stalker. Trey is estranged from his family which showed him little love or attention, yet is highly successful, so they are coming from different spots here. Yet, he has a closely guarded secret. I liked them both as well as Marley's friends and helpers Jack and Wanda. Marley is strong and outspoken, seemingly ready to tackle anything or one, often with her angels help. I loved the touch of angels in this holiday romance that has a bit of mystery and magic. Whether you believe or not, you'll have to admit after reading the story that we'd all wish our angels spoke to us or, maybe to be more exact, that we knew what they so often try to tell us. Corbett Lodge, owned and operated by Marley sounds delightful, and I really liked Trey's, hmm, let's just say long time helper for now. Trust me, all will be revealed as the book progresses. We get multiple points of view although they were usually easy to transition to as the speaker, or maybe thinker, was usually quickly identified in text. This gives us insight into the characters and what is important and priorities in their lives. All this with the trademark Sharon Sala heartwarming tale makes a winner.
The narrator of the audio version I had was Tyler Darby. The pace seemed a bit slow to me initially but as I gradually fell into the flow of the story, it seemed appropriate and provided contrast to times when, well, characters weren't so soft-spoken and mellow. Chapters were simply announced and there usually seemed to be a time frame indicated early on when some time passed. My sincere thanks to #DreamscapeMedia for allowing me this early listen to this delightful "Snowy Mountain Christmas". It was a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
This was a bit too sappy and insta-love for me. I don't want to spoil, but this takes the insta-love and following commitment to a whole new level. Yikes. I was cringing the whole time. I also cringed due to the author name dropping herself.
I mean, if you are a fan of Hallmark movies you may enjoy it. Very much insta-love with a bit of divine intervention.
The whole "suspense" portion was ridiculous and forced. There is no reason for this man to go to this level. The history is insufficient.
Tyler Darby narrates the audiobook. I appreciate that a male was chosen for the sole narrator in a romance book, but with multiple POVs, it'd have been better with multiple narrators. Tyler Darby did ok- a few minor mispronunciations, but no other complaints.
I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.
This felt like reading a Christmas hallmark movie.
Although I love a good hallmark, this was a little too cheesy for me.
Trey gets in a horrible accident during a rainstorm in a rural mountainous area. Marley has always seen and heard angels, so when her angels direct her to Treys accident she saves him. When Trey comes too afterwards, all he remembers is the voice of the women who saved him. So he puts out a public search for and when Marley contacts him, they get snowed in at her lodge where they immediately fall in love. Did I mention Trey is also an author of a mystery series, who’s never revealed his identity, and he just so happens to be Marley’s favorite author.
The plot was there, the writing was good, but it was just too cheesy at times and the falling in love was literally immediately post accident before Trey even meets Marley and from there it just escalated in the blink of an eye with the rest of the book. I just wanted a little more buildup.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the arc of "Snowy Mountain Christmas" by Sharon Sala.
This was my first Sharon Sala book and I really enjoyed it. Such a cozy read for winter. Its a great book to cozy up on your sofa with a hot cup of tea. I loved the modern spin on the Cinderella fairy tale and the found family aspect of the story.
I loved this sweet story! I highly recommend this sweet story for your holidays. It would be a great book to cozy up to. I loved the main character and her sweet journey. Gorgeous setting and just such a fun journey.
This was my first book by Sharon Sala. There was so much offered in this story. I loved the spin on finding Cinderella and the oh so cozy inn (although in my mind it always felt like a very large cabin) feel. I can never get enough of a good "snowed in because of a blizzard" trope either. I fell in love with the found family aspect, love a first sight, secret identity, and slight thriller moment. I wished for more from the MMC parents, but I think that was the point of the story. By the end I was sold on all the love and happily ever after that this book provided. I won't say this book was closed door, because you do know that things happen but I will say that it didn't feel overly explicit. 1.5/5 spice

Talk about coming in hot. This is a very faced-paced, Cinderella meet Hallmark. Small town vibes story. She reads mysteries, he writes them, but nobody knows.
The way they save each other in more ways than one, filled my heart with all the love imaginable.
“Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve done in my life.” It’s just the sweetest, coziest and full heartwarming book I’ve read in a while. It’s perfect for the people that love love, believe in the meant to be, and think they have an angel watching over them. When he says: “I feel like heaven finally opened the doors for me and let me in,” I was a pile of mush.
Perfect Sparkly, jolly read with whimsical feel. I loved their story and how well it’s written.

Trey & Marley meet when she drags him from his overturned vehicle. When he wakes up he’s on a mission to find the woman that saved his life. He gets the media involved and it’s deemed a Cinderella story since he only has the shoe she left at the scene to identify her.
Everything moves quickly when he finds her. I don’t love instalove, but I do believe in when you know you know. I liked them both together and separately. She has a take no crap attitude and he was so sweet with a secret career that he’s kept hidden for years. Love the found family she has and hated the awful relationship he has with his.
Overall, an enjoyable Christmas Time Hallmarky Cinderella~ish story.
Side note ~ love how Marley said Sharon Sala was her favorite author. Way to toot your own horn 😂
Narration notes:
Well, first things first, I'm not thrilled there's only 1 male narrator for multiple POV. I hate when I have to concentrate a little harder on who’s talking. With that said he does have a pleasant voice.
Another great novel from Sharon Sala, she instills so much heart into her books. What a fun Christmas story.
Christmas is a great time to be snowed in with the woman who saved your life in this heartwarming, small town holiday romance from New York Times bestselling author Sharon Sala.
One minute, Trey Austin is driving through torrential rain; the next, he's being rescued from a car wreck by an angelic woman with the courage to brave the storm. Her face was the last thing he saw before he lost consciousness. No one got her name—but she lost one shoe stuck in the mud. It's Trey's only clue, so he takes to the internet, hoping against hope that he'll find his angel.
Just when he's almost given up, Trey gets a message from Hailey Beaumont, owner of a cozy bed and breakfast in Colorado, and he instantly knows he's found her. Without hesitation, Trey heads to the mountains to meet Hailey just in time to spend an unforgettable Christmas snowed in with his dream girl, who, when finally in front of him, is even more special than he remembers.
Special thanks to Dreamscape Media, author Sharon Sala, and NetGalley for the advance access to the audiobook of Snowy Mountain Christmas in exchange for my honest review.
Sharon Sala is a new author for me, and I’m eager to explore more of her books in the future. Snowy Mountain Christmas is a beautifully crafted holiday story. Marley Corbett has the unique ability to hear the voices of angels, and it’s these angels who guide her to save a stranger named. Afterward, Trey decides to find her, leading to a love story that feels destined to unfold.

This was a short, sweet, and feel good Christmas story.
If you want a cozy read. Give this a listen.
I love all of Sharon Sala's books. this was a sweet Christmas story. I enjoyed it very much. would highly recommend
A light hearted Christmas book that focuses on an instant connection that changes lives. Marley is smaller in stature but tall on courage and sass. Marley owns a generational home, Inn and property on the mountain and returning home she stops to help someone in trouble and with sheer power pulls the gentleman out of the vehicle essentially saving his life. Once the rescue team arrives she takes off, leaving a shoe behind. Trey, an author and son of a multimillionaire has built his own empire through hardwork and tenacity, not using the family name. The story takes on some unexcepted twists and turns, which shows the character's of Marley and Trey. Really enjoyed Marley as a character she is definitely a whipper snapper and liked the tenacity of her character. If you are looking for a light hearted romance to read during the holidays pick this one up and you will devour it in one day. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity.
Quick Summary: A holiday miracle romance
My Review: Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala is a contemporary fiction novel that is scheduled for release in October 2024.
About the Book: Marley Corbett is able to hear the voices of angels. It is her angels, in fact, that lead her to save the life of a stranger on one fateful night. Leaving behind the evidence of her presence, the stranger decides to seek her out. What happens next was a love story that was simply meant to be.
About the Audiobook: Tyler Darby was the narrator of this work. It was a delightful listening experience, with its just right pacing, emotional tone, and warm banter.
My Final Say: I really enjoyed this story. The community of characters felt like family. It is definitely in line with a Lifetime type movie. Because of the off page relations, it may not be as squeaky clean as the Hallmark brand tends to project.
Other: I could easily see a series of books being birthed from this story. I would certainly be interested in reading more, should that be a consideration.
