Delicate Liaisons by Cherish Lively is a perfect book for smut reader.
This book is easy to read and less conflict. One of my fav story is Abby’s story which have a happy ending for Delicate Liaison’s workers.
✅ smut collection
✅ angst
✅ plenty if spicy scene : explicit and intense ( threesome, voyeurism)
✅ high sexual tension
Wonderfully fun and entertaining with lots of steamy scenes and romance. Not for everyone but if you like this genre you are in for a treat
I personally wasn't a huge fan...
1. I can not enjoy a book that's written in third person. It just drives me nuts. 🫠🫠
2. The writing wasn't great. It reminded me of a younger person writing out fantasies rather than adult writing.
3. There were a lot of repeat phrases, such as "what do you want?/what do you want me to do?".
4. Some of the scenes were just too similar to fully enjoy.
5. There really wasn't enough detail.. For anything. Not the people, the places, the work, the steamy bits, etc. I feel like it may have been rushed. :/
Because of all of these things, I had to start skimming through it just to finish it. 😒🫠 But I will go ahead and give it 3⭐️ just because there were a few pretty good scenes.
“Delicate Liaisons” is an erotic romance novel that delves into the lives of women who work at a high-end escort service. The narrative unfolds through a series of episodes, each providing an intimate glimpse into the exhilarating and often sensual experiences these women encounter during their nights out with affluent and charming men.
The book captures the essence of desire, pleasure, and the complexities of relationships formed in such unique circumstances. Each episode serves as a standalone story that highlights not only the physical encounters but also the emotional connections that can develop between the characters. The author, Cherish Lively, invites readers to explore themes of empowerment, intimacy, and self-discovery as they follow these women’s journeys through love and lust.
At its core, “Delicate Liaisons” examines the dynamics of power in relationships, societal perceptions of sex work, and the pursuit of personal satisfaction. It challenges conventional views on intimacy and encourages readers to consider the multifaceted nature of human connections
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC! All opinions are my own.
This is a fun little erotica book, with each chapter being a different story, having different tropes and interplay. The writing was relatively simple and straightforward - none of it was particularly out of the usual for sex scenes or descriptors. I'm not someone who cringes or picks apart the writing of sex scenes personally, so I will say this was an easy enough read for me.
not bad, I actually enjoyed it.
I think the best part was the birthday party!
Abby and Chris's story was really lovely to read.
Some scenes were really, really good
