The Chia Cookbook features a whole series of recipes featuring the 'superfood' chia seeds. Most of the recipes in this book include full page pictures, which I like because it's always good to see what the meal looks like that you're supposed to be making. I especially liked the smoothie recipes and the recipe for mole-style chicken stew.
A good straightforward cookbook. 3.5 stars.
Good information and great recipes. I have enjoyed learning to fix healthy foods and add Chia seeds
A beautifully illustrated book filled with delightful recipes certainly one to have on hand in the kitchen for any inspiring home chef.
A few years ago when I was trying to be healthyier, I found chia seeds. I never knew what to do with them. Thankfully I have learned alot since then. I love chia jam and using chia seeds as an egg replacer. I was excited about this cookbook.
The beggining part had alot of useful information about chia seeds. I did feel that it was a little repatitive is some places. But I understand that if someone has never heard or used chia seeds before, it could be useful.
Most of the drink recipes we did not care to try, but loved the berry shake (without the advacado)
The breakfast recipes looked interesting and definetly went on my list of things to try. I liked that there were some meals that were from other countries. The snacks, salad and soup were not really our thing. But I am looking forward to adding some of the other meals to our monthly rotation. Definitly a good cookbook if you are new to chia seeds or just want some new ideas
