Irena is searching for her missing ex husband Jack who fell overboard and went missing. Except it seems he was working with the FBI and going into witness protection. But he never showed up to the meeting spot. Irena is learning the only person she can trust is her daughter Kelly. Can she find Jack before it is too late?

This is the second book in this series and I think you should read the first book before reading this it gives a lot of background. I really enjoyed this series. It is fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The second book in “The Beyond the Bridge Series”,
is “Missing Man”,and it doesn’t disappoint!
After Jack disappears in the first book, we now find his friends and family desperately searching for him. His ex wife Irena, and daughter Kelly, as well as the FBI, are involved in the search. Jack was supposed to be a key witness in an embezzlement trial, but after falling off a boat, he seems to have vanished.
The plot thickens, as his friends try to unravel Jack’s whereabouts!

This is an enjoyable book, easy to read, with the promise of a third installment.
Thank you to NetGalley and Victory publishing for the advanced copy in return for my honest review.

Missing Man was a quick thriller read! It is book 2 in the Beyond The Bridge Series (though I didn't know that when I read it.) It is multi POVs and keeps you on your toes wondering what's going to happen next. It reminds me highly of JC Fuller's Rockfish Island mystery series (and we love us some JC Fuller over here.) So, if you like mystery and suspense pick up this series!

This is the second book in the he Beyond the Bridge Series written by Susan Specht Oram, this is my first novel by this author, but she does not disappoint. I am very anxious to dive in and read all of her back log. I have a couple other books of hers already in my TBR and possession so I will be bumping them up on my list.

In this book we follow Irena Fishbone is doing her best working at her job fixing boat motors and raising her teenage daughter and doing the best that she can. When the father of her daughter and her ex-husband mysteriously disappears, Irena must race against the clock and find out what happened to him before her daughter finds out he is missing.

The protagonist's inner and exterior worlds are vividly depicted in Oram's writing, which is incisive and expressive. An element of claustrophobia and anxiety is added by the small-town atmosphere, where secrets are lurking just below the surface and any neighbor could be a possible suspect. The town itself comes to life in the novel because to the author's amazing sense of place-making.

Each chapter of the well-crafted narrative reveals a new level of intrigue. Oram is a master at creating tension; with well-timed revelations and red herrings, she keeps readers on the edge of their seats. With the protagonist racing against time to defend her daughter and discover the truth, there is never a boring moment because to the frantic tempo.

Overwhelmed by the mess he left, Irena suspects foul play involving a close friend but struggles to find concrete evidence to support her suspicions.

I went into this somewhat blindly, not having read the description beforehand. It really wasn't my cup of tea. I am not really a fan of family and domestic drama and this book is packed with it. Immature adults and wise children. If that is your jam, this book is for you. It's an easy read and would be great for vacation or the beach.

I highly recommend if you're looking to get lost in some mindless drama and enjoy domestic thrillers.

A group of friends and one goes missing.
I didn't find this thrilling at all and continued reading in the hope of a great twist, sadly there wasn't one.
Sorry for the poor review but this was not my cup of tea.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

This book was okay! i had high hopes for an exciting and maybe grand ending that would help reveal some more info, but that never happened. This story is about a group of 4 friends and 1 of them has gone missing and the other three are trying to sort everything out including a massive debt. It was pretty predictable unfortunately.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for this complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review!!

This is the story of 4 friends, Jack, Irena, Buzz and Abby, and the things that happen when one of them disappears. Jack, heavily in debt to the wrong people vanishes and Irena, Buzz and Abby are left to deal with his debt and his sneaker addiction. It’s an almost humorous thriller that kept turning the pages waiting for the twist at the end. But, there was no twist. It left me hanging on a cliff with the desire to read the rest of the series.
