I really enjoyed myself while reading this book. It was a unique style of holiday book. I mean - it's not a Hallmark-type cozy romance. I found this story to have spice and substance. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This is such a fun book. It’s not your average Christmas tale. This group of neighborhood hitman are very quirky. It’s not a gruesome series. It’s a romantic comedy with mystery and a little suspense. This is Aileen is very sweet, which is funny because her family are all hitmen. Dante is all alpha s you would think a hitman should be. Aileen’s daughter Nessa is very precocious and funny. I laughed a lot reading this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is a happy, often comical fast read. A neighborhood full of hit men is original. That they are thugs really stands out. Aileen being targeted by someone has the neighborhood in an uproar. Such a fun read.

Just in time for the holidays, there is a new novel set in a community of fitment (unless that's an oxymoron? ).

One of the very social hitmen is in love with the daughter of a couple in the community. Because her history is difficult, he's resigned to only being her friend.....but then a couple of elves get involved..... Add in santa terrorizing her, and you have all the elements for an entertaining and seasonal read.

Fans of the genre will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.
