A truly wonderful children's book. I loved the diverse characters portrayed in the pages. Seeing disabled kids out and about always makes me happy. Boys holding hands? Yes please. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. I can see kids asking to have the pictures up on their walls. The message itself is wonderful, timely, and just up my alley.
Now, if you'll excuse me, there are some wonders I need to behold.

What a precious book highlighting the amazing wonder of a child’s mind. When we look through the eyes of a child, we see so much more in our world. I love the whimsical and creative illustrations that fit the text so well. My daughter especially enjoyed the page depicting the creatures underground and the under the sea page. I love that this book is just a sweet book that would work well for a quiet snuggle time story, but it is also one that children would enjoy hunting through the pictures for tiny creative creatures. It is truly a book that would be perfect for gifting to a special child in your life. The illustrations depict children of all abilities and just shows the true magic of viewing the world through the eyes of a child. I highly recommend this book.

Slow down and look all around at nature everywhere. Join the poetic look at everything adults miss with their busyness.
The illustrations by Julianna Swaney are delightfully detailed, realistically colorful, and FUN!
Well suited for reading WITH someone any age from 4 and up, including ESL, and great for gifting to everyone, but ESPECIALLY to a school or your local public library!

A beautifully illustrated book with a meaningful message. Whimsical illustrations done from a child's-eye perspective accompany capture the wonder of childhood and provide inspiration for children as they spend time outside, connecting with nature --and in doing so, connecting with others as well as their own natural curiosity. My preschooler loved this book, and especially noticed and pointed out all the details in the illustrations.

Thank you to NetGalley and Tommy Nelson for the eARC!
This book is just beautiful! The illustrations are gorgeous, especially the landscapes. There was one page featuring a garden with lots of little creatures in burrows underground that I had go back to look at multiple times because it was so cute! There was clearly effort put into including diverse characters, which always makes me happy to see in a children's book. I loved that this book encouraged curiosity and finding beauty in all the little things around us!

The World Needs the Wonder You See is an important message to continue to be curious and explore and create and remember all of the wonderful things about living. The illustrations were so enchanting, seeing the diversity of characters during a time that diversity, equity and inclusion are being distorted to be something bad. The messaging was simple and needed. Readers will love to see the colors of the environments and the activities of the characters.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a gorgeous book that is perfect for a baby shower. Julianna Swaney’s illustrations are lovely- romantic pastels and rich natural hues. If you like the art of Emily Winfield Martin, you’ll love this beautiful book. The message from Joanna Gaines at the front of the book is a very sweet tribute to her youngest son Crew, who reminds her to look at the world with wonder and curiosity. This short picture book is told in rhyme. It feels lovely and pure.

A sweet book reminding children to stop and think about the world around them, and to share the wonders they discover with others. While not explicitly Christian in its presentation, it is still a helpful resource, both in illustration and wording, that can be used to point children to the Creator and encourage them to point others to Him, too. I would reread this w/ my son again and add a physical copy to our bookshelf.

In our busy lives we barely have any time to slow down and take in the world around us. Our children are taught our go, go, go way of life as they watch and learn from us. This type of living can cause stress and anxiety for the whole family. This book has a beautiful way of showing how we can slow down, for just one part of our day and experience the wonder around us. We can look for the "special" in our everyday experiences. As an educator I loved the diversity in the illustrations and the encouraging way curiosity is sparked. We can all learn a lesson to unplug, spend some time with loved ones and spark some love, joy and curiosity living a simpler life once in a while.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tommy Nelson for an e-arc for review.

Loved it - 3,5-4/5 stars.
(The World Needs) The Wonder You See
The title says it. It brings us back to how a child sees the world around them. How children view it, without any influence that will come upon them later in life. A view that fades when we grow up. The message of The Wonder You See is allowing children not to lose it, that ability; and for adults, hinting them how to remind themselves of that precious aptitude.
Beautiful message of hope. Kindness. Goodwill. Spreading positivity. Acceptance. Welcomeness.
Beautiful illustrations, rich in colors and elements.
A reminder to be there for each other, to actually pay attention and observe what's around you.
Wonder, wander, observe, admire.
To never forget the richness of what exists.

A magical adventure.
This is a fabulous book showing our little ones, and us, what can happen when we take the time to slow down and look at the wonder that is all around us. We might be missing out on the wonders of the world, like nature, animals and even the simple moments we have together.I also loved the diversity in this book. It shows us that everyone, everywhere can take the time to enjoy the world. The story encourages everyone to connect to nature and to the animals in our world. These illustrations are simple with light colors but create such a bold message. I love how it tells us that when we take the time to have a closer look “we see the enchanted world deep inside”. This story invites children to use their imaginations as they enjoy the world. This has become a treasure in our home library. It would also be great to share in any early childhood classroom. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy this adventure with your little ones and join them as they chase the wonders of the world.
A Million Stars!!

Absolutely fantastic book! Readers young and old will love the message in this beautifully illustrated and cleverly rhyming text. Stop and pay attention to the little things in life, because they are really the big things.

The book was an awesome read with children. It was age appropriate. There are so many adventures that can be explored with parents and there children.

The World Needs the Wonder You See was a phenomenal children's book that also appeals to the hearts of adults with it's simple yet profound truth that there is wonder all around. I loved the lyrical style, and the illustrations were fantastic!
Thank you NetGalley, Tommy Nelson, and Joanna Gaines for an eARC. I look forward to purchasing a hard copy for my home library.

I absolutely love the message that this story shares! Each person was created uniquely and brings something different and special to the table. The World Needs the Wonder You See by Joanna Gaines is a celebration of that uniqueness. It stresses the importance of being curious and viewing the world with an open mind and then sharing our experiences and discoveries with others. I think it is a wonderful opportunity to share with our little ones how special they are, how valuable their thoughts and experiences are, and how important it is to really explore the world they live in.
The illustrations are also great. They are colorful and captivating without being too overwhelming. My kids enjoyed looking at the pictures and pointing out all of the different animals and insects they saw. I found the cadence of the words to be bit a bit off at times which was distracting, but overall, I really enjoyed the story and think it will be a great addition to our kids' library.

5/5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this book!
The illustrations are so beautiful I would hang them on my wall. They are so breathtaking that you notice something different every time you read it.
There was also inclusion of people of all races and a wheel chair user. This is very important in children’s books and made me very happy to see.
The book itself rhymes and uses beautiful language. It is also nice as it shows the outdoors and all the fun adventures you can find!

A great kids book about "stopping to smell the roses" and realizing that there is more than meets the eye in our world. There is so much to discover and so much wonder, when we take the time to look. I adored the illustrations, too!!

Thanks for letting me get a copy of "The World Needs the Wonder You See." I really loved the text and the illustrations (especially the colors!) found in this delightful book. Inspired by Joanna Gaines's son Crew, it is a great reminder for adults to learn to stop and appreciate the simple, the trivial, and maybe even the mundane things in life. Spring will be just around the corner before you know it, and it is a great reminder to get outdoors.
I've included a link to a roundup published on The Epoch Times.

This book is delightful. The words are so cute and will inspire for families to slow down and notice the details. It starts with the illustrations in the book. The colors, details, and little unexpected things make this fun to read aloud and share with kids. They could spend a lot of time looking for little details and finding hidden gems. I definitely want to share this book with my granddaughter!
