Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to download a copy of this. I agree with one of the reviewers here who pointed out the fact that it seemed to be written by AI. It is difficult to read right from the start due to how many technological words are thrown out, making it extra hard to learn about the characters.

Liza Monroy has a great writing style and enjoyed how good the characters were in this story. It had that element that I was looking for from the genre. It uses the technology element that I wanted and was invested in what was happening.

A great premise bogged down by an ambitious pen. I found the story hard to read and make sense of - in truth, it felt like it had been written by AI. Conceptual, perhaps, but frustrating. 2 Stars.
