A nice collection of short stories centered around Christmas. This is volume two of the series. There are sad stories, happy stories something for everyone.
A collection of Christmas stories that are largely mediocre with one or two standouts - worth a read this holiday season.
Kevin Moore is back with another book of collective Christmas short stories. They are stories of transformation that typically speak to the soul during this festive season with an overwhelming sense of good will to all. With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, short stories are a great way to get a little reading in every now and then.
While I really (emphasis on really) enjoyed the short story, The Giving Tree, the remaining stories fell short for me. I was an open reader ready to consume some warm fuzzy feelings. Thankfully The Giving Tree gave that in abundance, but I wish the others equally delivered.
Thank you to Books Fluent via NetGalley for the opportunity to read this collection of stories. These opinions are entirely my own. I wish all fellow readers out there some quality time to get lost in a sweet holiday read during this season!
What is more fun during the holiday season than to sit down with a cup of tea (or cocoa) and read a short story about the heart of Christmas. Each story in this book covers the magic of the time. Some stories deal with life's twists and turns but always come to a conclusion in which the meaning of this holiday is discovered.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to re-reading some of the stories closer to Christmas. Well written and thoughtful are my cup of tea (or cocoa.)
"Christmas Stories" Volume II by Kevin Moore is a MUST READ!
I highly enjoy the author's writing style as he quickly emerges you directly into each short story.
Each was so uplifting and original in text and I would love to see a version III.
So many good holiday books are coming out! The latest one I’ve read is Christmas Stories. I loved it!
