Lettie and her brother Zac have taken over the family farm but money is needed for repairs. When Melody and her grandmother come to stay the offer to help organize a wellness fair. Her creepy ex-husband lurks in the background and hinders a budding romance between her and Zac. Good story overall and one I recommend.

This story continues with the family at Hollyhock Farm, but now it's Zac's turn to find love! It's a really sweet read. Lettie is still trying to manage the farm but they need to raise funds to repair the barn. So she decides to host a Wellness Festival. With plenty of help from the farm's 2 new residents, Patsy and Melody, they go all out. And Zac falls head over heels for Melody! Unfortunately, and this is a purely personal opinion, the characters again felt a little flat for me. Sweet, light, with a little drama thrown in for good measure, this is still an enjoyable read.

Loved the first book and this is no exception. Lettie's taken over the running of the farm with the help of her brother Zac. He's taken time out from his job as a sound engineer. They decide to help Melody and her grandmother Patsy by offering them board as long as they help out on the farm. Melody has a secret but then so does Zac

This book didn’t overly wow me or even disappoint me, which perhaps just solidifies my overall feelings of being bored while reading it. The writing at times was repetitive with phrasing (in the very beginning Melody and Patsy probably repeated “we’re here to help you in any way we can”, or something of the sort, at least 6 times) and also the characters felt one dimensional in that neither Zac or Melody had any flaws. Both of them were seemingly pleasing people with little internal conflict or external concerns. All of this to say, I didn’t hate the book. It just felt choppy at times with pacing and I couldn’t connect to the characters until the end when the romance finally kicked off. With some polish, I think this could be a nice book!

This is sharp, beautifully written and incredibly powerful. I have been completely pulled in from very early on in this one. It has definitely been a book that is bound to be a success.

This was a cute book! The main character runs away with her grandma, and they end up in New Jersey, and they end up actually surrounded by family and friends. This book was entertaining, I had a lot of funny parts, but it was a bit repetitive in my opinion. I did like the characters in the story overall.

Overall a nice story about a woman who runs away with her gran to Jersey after separating from her ex, only to find themselves immersed with a local family at their farm. There was what felt like a lot of repetition but still enjoyed it as a whole.
