“The Reunion” is a psychological thriller that revolves around the character Zoe, who has not seen her close-knit group of friends since their graduation. Years have passed since they drifted apart, and Zoe ended her relationship with Dan due to painful memories associated with an unexpected death that shattered their friendship circle.

The story takes place in Scotland, where Zoe receives an invitation to a wedding at a grand manor house located on a remote island. This setting adds an eerie atmosphere to the narrative, enhancing the psychological tension as the characters reunite.

As Zoe prepares for the reunion, she feels apprehensive about seeing her old friends again. To ease her nerves, she agrees to drive with Lily, another friend from their past. However, complications arise when Lily decides to give Dan a lift as well. Rod, another member of their group, also joins them along with his fiancée.

During their journey on a cold and desolate Highland road, they encounter trouble that triggers a series of events leading to intense emotional turmoil. The characters are forced to confront their pasts and question everything they thought they knew about each other and themselves.

“The Reunion” promises an unsettling and gripping experience for readers who enjoy psychological thrillers filled with twists and suspense set against the backdrop of Scotland’s haunting landscapes.

It's been years since Zoe last saw them since they graduated, drifted apart, and lost touch. Years since Zoe ended things with Dan because the memories were too painful to bear. Years since that night the night an unexpected death shattered their close knit group of friends! Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, deep secrets, murder, mystery, a sort of who done it and a few crazy twists and turns. The story was interesting, it wasn’t one of my top favorite reads but still worth reading! I would recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Finished this last night in one sitting. Loved it! An unsettling and unputdownable edge-of-your-seat thriller set in the eerie mists of Scotland which raised some goosebumps! This is an amazing book, just buy it, and sit back and enjoy the ride. A massive five shiny stars from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I tend to like books with this setting and tropes, and this one was fun, up to a point.
The editing of it made it, sometimes, really hard and exhausting to keep going through.
I might read it again when the book is officially published and come back here with a full review.
Thank you, NetGalley and Boldwood Books, for allowing me to read an eARC of this upcoming novel.

Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the eARC.
The premise of this book was intriguing and at first I enjoyed it. But as it went on I was getting bored. There was a lot of repetition, the story of their deep friendship didn't seem realistic and they seemed very suspicious of each other. None of them were likeable and I started skipping parts to get to the end faster. Sorry!

I was completely swept up in this mystery, wondering which of the pretty unlikeable characters would prove to be the bad guy. The pace really ramps up when the group arrive at the venue for the wedding and it is absolutely gripping from then on. The author tells the story from multiple points of view and this makes it even twistier as you try to work out who did what, to whom and when. It’s a great read.

I thought this was such a good book! It kept me hooked from page 1. It was full of twists and turns, it was both dark and also pulled on the heartstrings. It had a good fast pace to it, and the writing was very good!,

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for this complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review!!

While the premise is fun, the book needs editing. Each sentence has multiple commas, making the book feel rambling and unprofessional. I might check this one out again when it's released and hopefully goes through some more editing..

Loved this book! Very suspenseful, every character had secrets and was equally unreliable as a narrator. I really enjoyed reading this book and the ending was very satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the twist of who the victim turned out to be. I read this book in one sitting, incredible.
