Tamales are delicious but always seemed way too intimidating to make. This book does so much to demystify the process, and offers both classic recipes and fun new takes.

Who doesn't love tamales? This book is great as it gives traditional recipes as well as more adventurous tamale recipes. I can't verify the authenticity of the recipes personally, but they look authentic. Not sure I'm ready for pighead, tripe, or oxtail tamales. The dessert fig tamales looked wonderful. Pictures were beautiful. I can't wait to try these recipes out.
